Answer Answer 20 Day Ovulation Test Kit

This test includes a reusable cup to pee into and a canister with 20 test strips that you dip into the pee.

The good:

*Helpful for women with irregular cycles who can't just guess which 7-day period they should be testing for LH surge.

*Inexpensive.

*Reasonably sensitive at picking up LH surge.

The bad:

*Once you open the canister, the strips can only be used for 30 days, so you can't use them across multiple cycles.

*You have to rinse and reuse the pee cup, although this didn't really bother me.

*It can be difficult to read. An LH surge is indicated when AT LEAST HALF THE WIDTH OF THE TEST LINE is as dark as or darker than the control line. It's not like other OPKs that indicate an LH surge when ANY part of the test line is as dark as the control line. Unfortunately, it doesn't say this anywhere in the instructions, so I thought my LH surge was lasting for 7 days (which is physically impossible!).

Despite its problems, I plan to buy this again next month because of my cycle irregularity and will make sure to interpret the results correctly this time.

I have PCOS, which causes my cycles to be longer than average, and my ovulation day fluctuates a couple of days each time, so this product is exactly what I need! I use it in conjunction with the ClearBlue EasyFertility Sticks and Monitor Package, 1ct and start using the Answer strips as soon as I get a high reading on my monitor. 1624w Transparent Film Dressing

I received this product when I was expecting the 3m brand that i always buy. It's basically the same thing, but a different maker. Kind of like a generic brand. The only difference is the individual packaging, it's basic. However, it's still sterile, waterproof, no latex, but at a cheaper price. This item is made by AOKI MEDICAL in china vs 3m, which is made in USA. I use it to cover my pain patches, and it works great. I will never use a band-aid again. I will buy again, and save at least half price vs 3m. The seller oferred me full refund if i didn't like them, even before i received them. I recommend this product.

For my situation, I have to use more than one of the product (overlapping). The AOKI do not stick to each other well, so I end up with a flap, which then catches on clothes, purse strap, etc, and then pulls off. I never had this problem with the 3M Tagaderms. For this reason, it is unlikely that I will purchase these again, I will return to the 3M Tagaderms in the future.

If you only need to use one, and will never need to cover a larger area, then the AOKI would be OK.

After using Tegaderm for years, I was happy to discover this product at a noticeably lower price. All I can tell is that I do not really see any difference from the more expensive brand. It works exactly the same, and it holds up well on flat, dry skin.

Everything you see comes with the bag, so for that alone, it is well worth the price. I really wanted the little bandaid kits and q-tips which will cost about half this price in the stores, so this was a good value when you include the bag. Only 4 stars because I didn't like the plastic tote... was looking for a fabric instead... but, you get what you pay for, and for storage, this is a nice little bag. I wouldn't throw it down in my suitcase though. Overall, a good buy.

I really like the bag this kit came in. It had a good zipper, holds a bunch of stuff, and should be water proof. The stuff inside is fine for a single person on a short trip or keep in the trunk of your car, that sort of thing. I needed this for a long trip through Asia and added a ton of stuff to it. I will say that the items in this kit are brand name, mine were all well within the expiration dates and that is all you can expect for under $8. Honestly, the little bag was totally worth purchase price.

Most of the items from this reseller are overstock from the old Linens n things retail stores this product is no different. This chain closed in 2008 and sold off all their inventory in 2009.

While that may be fine for cotton swabs and a plastic bag, it isn't a good idea for liquids and things like bandaids. The clean and clear facial cleanser smells rancid and I don't think anyone should use that on their face.

Also, the plastic bag included with this is massive.

The band-aid products are made in China and the first aid kit is made in Brazil.

To top it all off, none of the liquid products are sealed. Sorry save your money and buy these items (fresh) from your local drug store or Target. You don't need 5 year old facial cleanser.

I use two boxes of Thera Tears preservative free eye drops each week because I have dry eye syndrome and Thera Tears makes the best single-use eye drops, no other eye drops works like Thera Tears single-use eye drops, I even tried Thera Tears single-use eye gel but it was not that good although it is a good eye lubricant it leaves lots of build-up and crust in and around your eyes. I also tried the regular Thera Tears eye drops which contains prexervatives, but I could not use it as often as the preservative free singles because if I used it more than five times in one hour it tended to irritate my eyes and it did not provide as much lubrication as my eyes needed. The only proplem with Thera Tears single-use eye drops is the price, Thera Tears single-use eye drops cost about 11-14 dollars a box depending on the store you buy them at, Target is the cheapest place to get these eye drops, you can get these eye drops for $9.99 plus tax at Target. You can also buy them at Amazon for $10.25 a box and no additional charges will be added if you order more than one or two boxes when you make your order because you don't have to pay the shipping & Handeling fee if your order is about or more than $25.

Don't buy Thera Tears single-use eye drops at Walgreens or Rite Aid because it is a ripoff, if you are lucky Wal-Mart will have them, althoug most of the time I go to Wal-Mart they are out of Thera Tears singles because people buy them as soon as they are placed on the shelf, even when I go to Target I usually get the Last box, the Price Club or Costco used to sell two boxes for $13, what a deal, but they stopped carrying them.

I've been using eye drops for the last 13 years, and I tried every brand one can imagine, but for the last 4 years I've been using Thera Tears singles exclusively, because no other eye drops provide such Lubrication to the eyes. Eventhough Thera Tears single-use eye drops cost me a fortune so far, I don't feel like it was a waste of money because my eyes need such Lubrication.

My work requires constant computer use and I live in a cold climate so the central heating is almost always on; both of these lead to extremely dry eyes. I tried just about all of the preservative free-drops and decided these were best for use during the day. They are not thick, but they lubricate well.

Though it is not recommended (and I am NOT suggesting you try this!) my ophthalmologist said it was okay to reseal preservative-free drops if your hands are clean, no part of the dropper touches the eye and any unused product is tossed within 24 hours. You used to be able to do that with these drops, but no more. They changed the dropper so it can't be resealed. It also has a new shape, almost like a bent crochet hook, and the drops sometimes do not want to flow out. I feel like I am going to gouge my eyes out with the dropper because it is awkward to use. If you are environmentally conscious, the vials are placed in separate foil packages (that isn't new, though it is perhaps unnecessary).

Clearly, I am very disappointed that they changed these drops. Though I still love the formula and think it is effective, I now use Systane.

After Lasik surgery, both THERA TEARS and Systane continue to work best for me. Thera Tears gives you the most "bang for your buck" with respect to how much fluid each single-use container holds. (This is definitely great if you need to flush out your eye.)

After Lasik, it felt like people (including my Dr's office) were pushing the REFRESH line: Refresh Plus, Refresh Optic Sensitive, etc. Keeping these vials on hand were also VERY expensive!

I've had severe dry eye for 6+years now. I've used preservative-free thera tears this whole time. They started out with a sturdy little vial that had a resealable tip. Now they've extended the tip with a long "neck". When I open the vial it is sometimes still sealed shut. Other times it just squirts everywhere. It's such a waste. Unguentine Antiseptic Original Ointment improved formula 1 oz

Upon a friend's recommendation I added Unguentine to my medicine cabinet. And the first time I used it on a burn that I knew would be really bad it amazed me how mild the blister and pain turned out to be. Of course the healing was way faster too.

I've always wanted to use it on a smaller section of a larger burn to see the difference but haven't tried it yet.

Unguentine Plus is anti infection too. Never tried Unguentine Maximum Strength. Guess Plus has always been enough for my 3rd degree and lesser burns from electric stoves, wood stoves, and camp fires (mostly on the back of hands and on forearms).

The one burn from a lawn mower muffler was a good reminder of why I should keep Unguentine in the truck too; that and don't load a lawnmower by bear hugging it to pick it up. That burn would have been big enough for my experiment... Oh well, next time.

My family has been using Unguentine since the very early 1900's. I have had some severe burns in my lifetime and this product has always helped me get through them. Unguentine is one of the "I can't live without" things in my life. I'm 70 years old, and my mother used it from the time I was in grammar school or high school. She swore by it, and I still do. These face masks work pretty well, but since they are much more stiff compared to the cloth (surgical) masks, they don't seem to fit as well more gaps around the edges. I use masks to keep from inhaling pollen and dust when I'm cutting my lawn on a dry day.

As a former college athlete who was "wrapped" by professional trainers, I'm very familiar with taping and wraps. This is a very good product for active kids to secure their bandaids or other dressings to contain Neosporin and such. Its value is in being lightweight, non kinking, very flexible, and surprisingly durable even when wet from swimming. Easy to take off and replace. It does need athletic or surgical tape to secure itself together--but that's what we did in college too.... ;-)

This wrap isn't very sturdy and doesn't hold up too well to everyday abuse. I used it to secure a burn dressing on my arm only because I did not have any vetrap, (by 3-M and is sold for veterinary use) which is sturdier and holds up to heavier use and sticks to itself much better than this product does.

MDF® ER PremierTM Stethoscope Color: Burgundy

After years of using an HP Sprague Rappaport, it became apparent that I needed a new scope. To my horror, not only had HP sold it to Phillips, but Phillips had discontinued it 6 years ago and no parts were available.

As a family physician in full time practice , a team physician , working urgent care several times a month, serving with Medical Reserve Corps and Urban Search and Rescue, I need a scope that meets some stringent requirements:

1) The acoustics have to be outstanding and equivalent to the HP.

2). It has to perform well and survive in a variety of service environments, both noisy and quiet, clinic and urgent care / ER / field.

3). It must be easily portable.

4). It must be from a reputable company that would stand behind their work and would provide service and parts for the lifetime of the scope.

5) It must be a reasonable cost.

Having thought through these requirements, I tried 2 Sprague types that were on the market and was disappointed. The acoustics simply were not what I needed. To be fair, I did not try the MDF Sprague with the X design.

My colleagues raved about the Litmann Cardiology 3. I found that to be costly, but more importantly, the acoustics were simply inferior to my HP Sprague ( as an older MD with tinnitus, the Cardiology 3 did not work).

Finally , I came across a company I never heard of , MDF. After researching out the company and scopes, in sheer desperation I decided to try the ER Premier scope. When I compared it to the HP Sprague and the Litmann, it was the equivalent of the HP, the Litmann being a very distant 3rd place. Having used it now for a month in various settings, it meets my requirements superbly . The cost is reasonable ( particularly if you buy it through Amazon ). The company is sound and has a good track record for service and provides parts for the lifetime of the scope. AND-I don't have to go with the electronic scopes !

Who could ask for more ?

I bought this stethoscope 3 months ago now and I'm very impressed. The initial impression is stunning in this all black color! I was looking purposely for an all black scope, partly to distinguish from most others, and partly because of visual preference. I previously had the Littmann Classic II in black, and that was a decent scope to begin with. My interest focused more on being able to assess lung sounds more accurately, and determining the subtle differences in murmurs, thus the need for a dual or bi-lumen scope. The sensitivity of the chest piece is higher, sounds are louder and clearer by 2-3 points on a scale of 1-10 compared to the Littmann being a 6-7 on clarity and volume. At first the MDF scope seemed less comfortable than my Littmann, but now I've gotten used to the stiffer ear cushion pieces, however they are comfortable none the less. This MDF stethoscope is significantly heavier than my Littman though, mainly due to the use of more material to construct it. It also feels more durable than other dual lumen scopes; I compared my scope to one of my coworker's who has a Littmann Cardiology III, and her's has already begun to lose its shine and luster by turning opaque and dry-like in texture. Both her Littman and my MDF stethoscopes were purchased within 4 months difference in time but in new condition, and my scope continues to shine like when purchased. One downside to my MDF scope is that you sometimes have to tilt your head to position your ears while auscultating; depending on your position in relation to the patient's, you may have to 'nod' up or down to listen correctly. Final impression: well constructed, excellent acoustics, stealthy attractive appearance, all at an unbeatable price. It respectable alternative to a pricier Littmann or Harvey Tycos.

SHARPS CONTAINER 1 QT

I can't speak to the lateness of shipping, as stated by the other reviewer, but the product is fine. It is a standard sharps container, and economically priced. Why pay more for the same thing from other companies? If it comes sealed, it is easy to open it again. They can be re-opened once closed. I have purchased many of these and use a more expensive brand at work. They are exactly the same. I use it for insulin syringes. I will continue to purchase this brand.

Container is ok but not particularly secure. I think BD product is better but of course more than twice the price. Also not much of a bargain when you add shipping unless you by large quantity. I bought two and shipping was still almost 4 times the purchase prices. Live and learn.
