These bandages are very economical on amazon. The bandages themselves are very effective the only drawback being you have to be very careful when applying them because the ends have a tendency to not stick flat without wrinkles if you do it hastily. With patience, practice and skill it goes on well. Waterproof for when you have to take a shower and has very good adhesive qualities to last several days.
Once again, another incorrect Amazon main title description but thanks to some careful reading of the detailed product description I did in fact get exactly what I wanted which was the 5.11 MEDICAL 6x6 pouch. This is great construction as expected from 5.11. Inside, the two sides of the pouch have zippered mesh to provide for retention of medical supplies when opening. Some unusually small loops on the inside spine might hold a pen or some tweezers or small caribiners on pouches to dangle inside the center between the two mesh pouches. Will have to experiment. Unlike the picture shown for this item which is also incorrect, there is a First Aid cross in the same earth tone on the outside of this pouch where the top Molle row would otherwise be allowing you to quickly identify the pouch without calling attention to the overall pack with a differently colored cross. This pouch fits perfectly on the hip strap of the Rush72 pack allowing quick access to First Aid supplies if needed. This does however create a wide profile at the hip so if you swing your arms tight to your body when walking/hiking you might prefer a different location. As mentioned in my other reviews of this product line, the Slickstick innovation for the back straps on the 5.11 pouches allows for easy Molle-ing without mauling. Another fine 5.11 product. Amazon might sell more if they would describe and picture more carefully.

To start with, the picture of this item (long retangular) is WRONG. I bought it based on the description and all is well. This pouch attaches to any MOLLE compatible harness or pack. I was able to pack 2 Israeli bandages, multiple gauze packs, 7.5 inch medical sciccors, multiple hemostats, and many other items too. To put it simple this one 6"x6" pack is a better med kit than the backpack full of junk that I was issued. The MOLLE/PALS quick connects are another 5.11 standard fair and work wonderfully and securely. The med cross on the cover is easily identifiable even under the harshest conditions. This product is wonderful especially when used with baking soda. I use the swabs to coat the sting area with the green liquid then add baking soda to make a paste and leave the paste on for 15 minutes. It is amazing and I have seen little ones stop crying instantly. The the sting kill numbs the pain and the baking soda neutralizes the acid in the venom. I use old film cases to hold my perfect bee sting kits. Just drop in a vial of sting kill, fill with baking soda, and toss it in your purse. A bee sting remedy only helps if you have it with you. I have given away so many of these I am on line ordering more. I REALLY works!

The first time I use this product I used it on a 3 yr old child that had a bug bite right by his eye. This tape is serviceable, but it isn't the strong, thick white tape I was expecting. Kind of gray, and not as stick as the tape that usually comes in this type of pack. But the seller gave me a bunch of it for free so no complaints there.

These are nice large rolls of waterproof tape, great for trauma kits or outdoor first aid where the odds of getting wet is most likely. I carry one in my pack first aid kit when I go anywhere outdoors, because you never know. The other roll stays at home. Great price here on Amazon, too.

The aspirator we got at the hospital started tearing at the seem. So, we used the Safety First kind (like you find at Wal-Mart) and they absolutely suck...and definitely not literaly. These are just like the hospital ones. The ones we got were only $.70. The shipping is fairly high, so we got 3 of them and the shipping only changed a few cents if any. We have been using the first one for a couple months now and it is holding together well.

This is just like the one I received at the hospital when my son was born. It is slightly larger, but works just as well or better. The plastic is very soft & squeezeable, which is a high priority for a bulb syringe. If you have a baby, I recommend buying extra bulb syringes to have at day care or the grandparents' houses. I am a Peds Nurse and have had the opportunity to try quite a few stethoscopes. I bought this scope to stick in the car as a backup because it was so competitively priced (about $24). The higher priced MDF stethoscopes I have used have worked great, so I thought I would give this one a try. Wow, what a mistake. It was made of this rubber, toy-like material,and it felt like something one would find in a Toys-R-Us "Lets play Doctor" kit. Despite its toy-like hand feel, I gave it a try on a 9-lb, 2mo adjusted age infant c trach and vent. The breaths sound were barely audible, and the heart sounds were so muffled that I could barely distinguish s1 from s2 -no matter where I placed the scope. The bowel sounds were audible, but it was an infant, so what do you expect. I would only recommend this product as a toy. For serious work, this stethoscope is far from good enough to make a safe, high quality assessment.

I have used several different types of fairly generic pregnancy tests. I have used the generic pregnancy tests found at Wal-Mart and Rite Aid, among others. One of the main issues I have with generic tests is that the lines are so faint as to be indiscernible. With one of the generic brands I ended up having to take 3 tests just to confirm that the second line was there, because the markings were so ambiguous. With First Response the lines were not only a brighter color (and therefore more conspicuous), they were much less faint. This is one of those tests in life that you want to have confidence in. Perhaps buying generic isn't the way to go. First Response also sometimes has coupons on the box that can be used at the register. Regardless of price I ended up taking 3 generic tests when I could have just taken 1 "First Response" test. Which means that financially speaking I would have done better to just buy quality the first time around.

I purchased these towelettes because I can't buy or find "CureChrome" any more. For what ever reason this product has been discontinued, I use to buy it in Walgreens, no longer, even Amazon does not have it in stock any more. I was using the product for fever blisters around or on your lips or nose area. This particular product, in towelette form did the job because it has the chemicals in it that attacks the virus and I already had the good fortune of testing it. I used 2 towelettes, once opened & used for the first time I put it back into its pouch, seal it, to keep it moist and reuse it later in the day. The towelette stayed moist for 3 days. In my opinion this worked even better than the old Curechrome, and even Bactine, although Bactine and the towelette, I use both in combination. This time around, the blister was gone in a week...Small miracles can still happen. As soon as you feel the "tingling effects" of a fever blister coming attack it immediately. The Bactine also has the same chemical as the towels, however, I also use it for the pain if it does punch thru..I highly recommend this product, keep in mind that like all medicines, it has an expiration date. I will be keeping "fresh" pads of this product around here for a long time to come!
