Six years ago I discovered CALMOSEPTINE OINTMENT and I can tell you with 100% confidence in my reputation as an expert that CALMOSEPTINE OINTMENT is the ONLY effective skin barrier on the market today. It had been one of those days...A rather routine day for us crohnies. I quickly awoke to that old familiar feeling. There are many aspects of Crohn's disease that patients find embarrassing so they are talked about very little. Nice foam, which you can roll down and then insert in ears. Slightly long, but better too long than too short and scissors can easily snip off to any length. I use when studying at the library, flying in a plane, etc. They are comfortable and helpful, and from what I could tell, could be used approx 6-9 times per pair, depending on your level of ear wax. I keep mine in a little Sucrets or peppermint box. A fellow student keeps hers in a Tic Tac box.

I find that they do block noise very well. I have had many foam and overhead sound blockers in my life, and these are superb and economical. I always bring a pair to concerts, and extras for my friends. I have seen all Mayhem Heavy Metal Fest shows, and these help immensely.

I need silence when I sleep! Guess I owe this to my parents always making sure I had complete quiet as a baby. My husband snores but uses a CPAP but even the noise of that machine would keep me awake. These ear plugs are awesome for noise blocking. I take them with me on trips, even when I will be alone. Love them when I stay in hotels with noisy guests running up and down the halls. My roommates may complain, but I never hear a thing!

After I sent a message to the retailer (Coast to Coast Safety) asking how to go about getting a refund because I felt the earplugs were faulty, I was promptly contacted by representatives from both Coast to Coast Safety and Moldex (the manufacturer). It was apparent that they were *very* concerned about the performance of their product considering that it is intended for protection.

Coast to Coast immediately pulled all inventory that came from the same batch as soon as I was able to furnish them with the lot number from my package.

After a few short phone calls with Moldex, they replaced my box of earplugs with one from a different lot. They had me return the box to their QC department and they paid for all shipping costs.

The second box of earplugs worked as advertised. I would purchase this product again and I wouldn't hesitate to order from Coast to Coast Safety nor Moldex.

The earplugs themselves are about 1/8" longer than Hearos, so have a better chance of sticking out a tiny bit from your ear. With that in mind, you might find Hearos more comfortable for sleeping or you can just remove the extra length with a quick swipe of some scissors.

I use ear plugs all of the time every night when sleeping to drown out city noises and occasionally when going out to night clubs to protect my hearing.

The ear plugs in the box I received barely block sound at all I can clearly hear most frequencies through them, such as the fan from my air cleaner. I tried a different pair of ear plugs that I have lying around just to make sure; those blocked out most frequencies and lowered the sound level just as I would expect from 33dB ear plugs.

I also noticed that the texture is different from other brands I've used in the past the outer part that seals the ear canal seems almost porous (though I'm not sure that this has anything to do with the poor performance of this product).

Triple Cream Severe Dry Skin/Eczema Care

I've tried a bunch of stuff and this one actually works and has improved my skin.

The downside is this stuff will leave your hands greasy for quite a while after application.

The upside is it's actually working and you apply less lotion.

I do want to eventually try the Neosporin Eczema Essentials line but it looks more similar to the Aveeno Eczema Care lotion, which isn't as good as Triple Cream.

My son has eczema whole body, we tried a lot of other creams, but no one can compare to it. It traps the water in the skin for a very long time and no allergy reaction. I highly recommend it!

My son developed a severe and painful rash while I was using other creams on him. It hurt him too much to clean him with wipes and I ended up washing him in the sink during each diaper change. Our pediatrician recommended this stuff and it cleared up within a couple of days while the pain was gone the next day.

Now this is the only diaper cream that I buy. I keep a 2-ounce tube in the diaper bag and a 16-ounce jar at the changing table.

This stuff works great. I get really bad eczema on my hands and nothing had cleared it up until I got this cream. It isn't greasy or too thick and you don't need a lot to get it to work. Highly recommend.

Westone was recommended by our Audiologist. I wish there was more details in the product description. What we really want to know is the inside dimensions. Inside diameter is 1.8" (46mm), inside depth without drier disk and pad 1.42" (36.2mm) with drier disk and pad about .79" (20.2mm). Hint the container size is about the size of a 1/3 of a cup measuring cup. Since measuring size differ verify diameter. Drier disk diameter is 1.75" (44mm) drier disk height about 0.67" (17mm). Westone makes a much taller container P/N 93217, same inside diameter but has a inside depth of 3" (77.5mm) without drier disk and pad. My daughters hearing aid just fits into the shorter drier, but it's a very tight fit. The silicon is contained in a disk. The disk can be dried using a microwave oven.

This saver is smaller and so much easier to pack than the large dryer...it's great to have, especially for weekend trips.

I have used this eye wash several times as part of a first aid kit that was stocked with this Eyewash. I've used this test several times over the past year and have found it to be accurate. On a couple of occasions my son initially denied using the drug that showed positive. However, in every case, he eventually voluntarily confessed. If he hadn't, I might have thought the test was faulty.

I should add that my son tested positive for about 1/3 of the drugs in the test. Too bad it doesn't test for LSD, or he would have tested positive for that, too.

Eventually, he started hiding bottles of good urine (urine that will pass a drug test) around the house and in his pants so that he could fool the test. A word to the wise...

Today, he is on the Dean's list in physics at a major university. So, keep testing parents. Don't give up.

Curad Bandage Roll 4.5 Inches X 4 Yards Stretched (Pack of 6)

This gauze is somewhat stretchy and clingy, however it does require some sort of bandage tape to stay in place. Do not trust the clinginess to hold the gauze in place on it's own. Remember gauze is not elastic, once it stratches out it does not shrink back. Periodic re-adjustments may be neccesary to prevent slippage of the bandage.

Just like regular Kerlix. I have stage 3 lymphedema and must change bandages often because of leaking. I use this all around my leg to hold the salved gauze in place and also as a foundation to duck tape the layers of 'sanitary napkins' that I must layer on to soak up the leakage (tip: these 'napkins' are very absorbent and MUCH MUCH CHEAPER than those skinny medical pads which soak through within minutes handy for all sorts of 'wounds').

I've found these bandage rolls consistent and reliable. They are individually packed in sterile wraps, each in a light cardboard box.

The size of 4.5 inches by 4 yards stretched seems to be a "standard" size, but is just large enough that it's not carried in consumer drug stores. I needed these for daily bandages for a month after surgery and shipping them from Amazon was the only way I found to get them in hand.

Grafco Stainless Steel Vienna Nasal Speculum

This is a pretty well made device for opening up small orifices in the body. Although specifically designed for the nose, it does work well on "other parts."

Obviously, I am not talking about medical uses, and this would be good item for the BDSM toy box if one is into medical or related play.

The speculum is well made, with smooth edges, no rough spots, and a nice finish. I don't know how well it will hold up over time, but it is a simple mechanism with very few parts.

I suppose it could also have some medical uses as well. As always, one should be very careful with items for insertion into the body, even in such a shallow manner. This should clean up easily and probably could be autoclaved.

This nasal speculum was exactly what I was looking for. It allows you to spread the nares of an individual/patient and inspect the septum, middle & inferior nasal concha & make sure each meatus is patent.
