These bandages are absolutely fantastic!! I have an open post-surgical wound on my foot, and already had a beach vacation planned and reserved when it became obvious my foot wouldn't be healed by the time I'd be in the sand and ocean. Finding these bandages was such a blessing! I applied AllKare Protective Barrier to the skin around the wound, where the adhesive on the bandages would touch the skin...........this not only protects the skin, but also ensures a good "seal" on the bandage. I layered the bandages on days that I was going in the ocean, and I was able to go 2 days, sometimes 3 days between dressing changes. I can't recommend these bandages enough...........they saved my vacation!!
These Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Premium Adhesive Pads are exactly what they claim to be, waterproof. I have been using them for a few years now and have never had a problem. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.I have since ordered different sizes.

These things are awesom! truely waterproof and very comfortable to wear for extended periods when necessary. the material is very thin and pliable, like a second skin, only extremely tough. really quite amazing, and so easy to apply. Nexcare bandages make all other adhesive bandages obsolete, seriously!
