Red Cross Cloth Tape 1 inch x 5 yard

What amazes me the most is how hard it is to find this tape. Walgreens is the only place in this area. It's absolutely perfect. I'm a doc, trust me. You put this stuff on and it stays. Molds like the mesh it is. Great when you have cut your finger working in the kitchen and then have to go out and use the hand, like in a golf game you can't cancel. The stuff does NOT come off like most of the band-aid stuff. Does a pretty good job letting the injured area "breathe."

Eko Mercurochrome 2 % Topical Antiseptic Solution - 1 Oz

This product is not Mercurochrome. The active ingredent of this product is benzalkonium chloride (trade name Altaryl, Benzine) and has orange coloring added to resemble Merthiolate. This is not the original Mercurochrome that you grew up with. The FDA has banned the highly effective merbromin 2% solution that was perhaps the best antiseptic. The old saying goes keep them sick and they will come back. Its another of their several scare tactics. I have tried using this substitute product containing Benzalkonium Chloride but its not as effective as the original one. I still have open cut even after a week of applying this fake junk. I know people still using Mercurochrome all over the world that are 90 years old who swear by it. Not a single person has reported mercury poisoning from using the real Mercurochrome. Tuna and Swordfish contain more mercury but those are not banned. The filling used in teeth also contains mercury and that's not banned. Aspartame is not banned. Its a shame that FDA has become corrupt and will do anything for money nowadays. Such a shame.

This is a typical case of the FDA swatting mosquitoes and ignoring vultures. I suppose that mercury poisoning could occur if one were to drink a gallon or two of mercurochrome, but most people I know probably would not do that. I think this is because antiseptics are rated in comparison to a standard, phenol, and the time required to kill standard organisms is taken into account. This stuff smells great and moisturizes really well too. But it leaves a really lotion-y residue behind which makes shaving with it impossible. It clogs up the razor too much. I don't use shaving cream in the shower, so I guess this will only be for days when I'm not shaving.

First of all there are no beads in this great product so avoid any negative comments claiming this. This is an excellent product, the fragrance is good for men or women. It has great silky lather and rinses clean leaves you moist and best of all doesn't leave white fatty residue on the tile or grout! This product is excellent for blister management. Can be used after a blister has developed or to prevent one from forming. The only thing that I would like to see offered is a bulk discount. These are expensive, especiallly in my case where my children use them daily during soccer season. If they could be offered by the case at a discount I would appreciate it. But for further protection or deeper cuts, I suggest putting tape over top after application. The only thing that this product is missing is the instructions on how to properly remove the glue safely. Regular hand soap doesn't work. An adhesive remover like goop off would probably work, but I wouldn't suggest putting that on an open cut since that stuff is toxic. So I'm out of ideas. Other than that, this stuff is great for people who work with their hands a lot and get cuts or get cracks for dry skin. You won't be disappointed.

I am a physical therapist and I love this brace! It is great for all types of knee pain but NOT for those of you who have serious pain that require medical attention. It will not prevent motion so it can not replace any brace that has range of motion locks such as for an ACL tear/injury. It may cause discomfort at first until you get used to it but if you wear it consistently you will be able to perform activity with less pain. It swill not cure your pain but I have had patients wear it for 6 months and then no longer require its use and have no pain during activity. I have lots of patients that use it and love it including my husband who uses it to run. It doesn't slip down like the sleeve braces that I hate and it is not bulky so it can be worn under clothing. If you measure and you appear to be between 2 sizes I would choose the smaller one.
