I dropped these outside in a early am mad dash to work and in snow ta boot. I was so bummed but when the snow melted 2 weeks later I found them! Suprisingly they were without ANY rust and opened up with ease as if they never had fallen out of my pocket :) I've not had these long but so far have zero complaints and am impressed with workmanship after my little snow incident. I have been using these for a long time. They have saved me a lot of pain. I haven't had any of the problems that Sangeet complains of. Price is good but doesn't work well. I used this canister as replacement canisyer for a Drive suction machine. Construction is not the same as the original canister. Right off, the suction power seemed reduced. I use the suction machine once a day, and clean and dry the canister each time after use. The canister failed after less than one month of use simply would not hold any suction at all. It came with no instructions so really don't know how to troubleshoot. In contrast, the orognal canister lasted about four months, and was still working when i decided to replace it with a fresh one. Going to try another brand.

I've worn the Proflex double strap version for several years and opted to try this when my hand was feeling a bit better as it's much lighter. While it works well the problem is that the neoprene around the thumb only lasts two-three months and worse, the plastic inevitably cracks revealing the plastic wrist support. I continue to buy them with the knowledge that they'll only last about 3 months because sometimes, particularly at social functions, one doesn't want to wear the large wrist band.
