I first tried these ear plugs because they were provided in my law school for exam purposes and I absolutely fell in love with them. I use them during tests, on the train on my way to school, at home when my dog is playing with his toys and it distracts me. Of all the earplugs I've tried in dealing with a snoring partner, these are the best. I have small ears and many of the earplugs with higher NRRs left me with very sore ears. And while there are other comfortable earplugs out there, I didn't have luck finding ones that still helped me get a good night's sleep. These earplugs do both no discomfort whatsoever and great sound blocking.

I tried a variety pack from another company after not liking what I found at local stores.

My neighbors dogs were driving me crazy and was desperate.I tried Hearos,Macks,Flents.

Then I bought the variety pack and found out of the 14 pr.these were near the top.

Most of the Howard Leight.s preformed well.These were not the best of the lot at noise reduction.

They were the most comfortable to wear while sleeping and the noise reduction was plenty for my needs.

Proper insertion is key for any foam plug to work to full benefit.I would urge you to watch a youtube video on how to insert.

I'm a light sleeper and need earplugs to block out refrigerator noise and other annoying machine hums. These are absolutely the most comfortable ear plugs of all that I've tried, and they do a great job of blocking out both low and high frequency hums. The only thing that's odd about them is that when you use them on a plane, all the noise goes away EXCEPT for the conversations of fellow travelers! So, great for sleeping, but not to block out conversation.

Note that there's a trick to inserting these, and all foam earplugs. Roll the plug tightly between your hands to compress it, then insert into your ear with one hand, while with the other hand you pull up on your ear to straighten the ear canal. Sounds ridiculous, but this will really give you a snug fit and more comfort.

The good:

*Helpful for women with irregular cycles who can't just guess which 7-day period they should be testing for LH surge.

*Once you open the canister, the strips can only be used for 30 days, so you can't use them across multiple cycles.

*You have to rinse and reuse the pee cup, although this didn't really bother me.

*It can be difficult to read. An LH surge is indicated when AT LEAST HALF THE WIDTH OF THE TEST LINE is as dark as or darker than the control line. It's not like other OPKs that indicate an LH surge when ANY part of the test line is as dark as the control line. Unfortunately, it doesn't say this anywhere in the instructions, so I thought my LH surge was lasting for 7 days (which is physically impossible!).

Despite its problems, I plan to buy this again next month because of my cycle irregularity and will make sure to interpret the results correctly this time.

Itzy Ritzy Travel Happens Sealed Wet Bag

I am extremely disappointed with this product!!! I thought this bag was wonderful when I got it. It was a perfect size and unlike the liners with PUL I knew the water-proof layer wouldn't separate from the polyester fabric and rip. However, after just a couple of washes the "sealed seams" they brag about came undone in the inner layer. The waterproof inner layer is hemmed with stitch witch (or something like that). It is not durable and does not hold up to a high agitation wash with the diapers. I can fix the seams by using my sewing machines, but for nearly $20 a bag I shouldn't have to. The stitch witch is a good idea to prevent leaks, but it should be reinforced with stitching as well. I guess I'll go back to the bags with PUL lining. At least it takes more than 2 washes for them to fall apart.

So, I've only used this once so far, but I am quite impressed. I'm 8 months pregnant with baby #2 and have an almost 2 y.o. daughter. Her favorite thing to do is go to the zoo, and she is very excited about playing in the fountains with the other kids. I knew this would lead to lots of wet clothes this summer (plus all those yucky burpees I'm in for soon) so after reading review after review I decided this would be the wet bag for me. Here's the highlights:

CONS

Initially the bag had a pretty strong plastic smell, but this dissipated with the first washing.

Also I was sent a pattern different than what I ordered (by Itzy Ritzy, not Amazon.com) due to my choice being back-ordered. However, they quickly informed me that my original selection will be mailed at no additional cost and I may keep the one I already have.

PROS

Though this wet bag feels thick, almost insulated, it folds up to be quite compact. Empty, it takes up practically no space in the diaper bag.

It can hold a whole family of wet swimming suits, though it's not big enough for a beach towel (unless you have really thin towels). Probably two or three toddler outfits (right down to the soaking wet socks and shoes). If we're talking wet diapers or pull-ups, probably 6-8.

It was plenty big for the few wet things we had. I might add to this once I have newborn messes in the mix.

It's so pretty. Man, they sure do make cute stuff for moms these days.

All in all it did the job perfectly, no leaks, and Itzy Ritzy has great customer service!

I guess I should have read the dimensions more carefully, because this bag is really pretty small. I also didn't think about it at the time, but it could use a handle as well. I guess it's just meant for use inside a purse/diaper bag. It will hold one cloth diaper (maybe two if you stuff them in). It is really cute and well-made though!

I love this bag! I have used it coming home from the pool for wet suits, from on the go with spoiled clothes, and when I get home I just rinse it out let it air dry and its ready for the next days activities. It will keep your wet items contained, but don't place it upside-down in your bag as it may leak at the zipper.

We've had this bag for almost a year and it was awesome! I used to put dripping rinsed off diapers diapers in this bag and put it on the bag of the toilet, leaning against things and never had issues. Then recently I noticed the liner was cracking. The next thing I know the bag is wicking. I can't put anything in there that is even slightly damp. I can't bring it out of the house even for one day outings, even slightly wet diapers leak. I had bought a second bag around the same time and I have noticed that that bag is also now getting the cracking. I wash in a cold rinse/hot wash/ and a double cold rinse. I always lay anything with a PUL out to dry so this isn't going in the dryer. It's unfortunate, this had been one of the best buys I had. I'm giving it 4 stars because while it was working, it was great.

Most men who run long distances have problems with the dreaded nipple chafing. Band aid's are the traditional fix, but can get expensive when used almost daily. This tape worked out great. It stuck to the skin in that sensitive area, did not come off as a result of sweating, and wasn't bad to remove. It addressed the problem perfectly.

I have been using this daily to dress some foot ulcers and it sticks very well, yet peels off fairly cleanly even on my thin skin. It is much more sticky than store brands I've had and can this a 5 star rating. It has not irritated my skin and dressing changes are simpler and quicker since this sticks so well.

CELOX First Aid Temporary Traumatic Wound Treatment 35g Pouch

My wife and had bought some Celox after I had read about it in a magazine, and it seemed interesting enough to buy. We put it into a travel first aid kit, which we subsequently took with us on a trip to Guadalupe Mountains National Park in late May of 2010. On our drive there, approaching from the south on Texas Highway 54, we came across a single vehicle rollover accident which had occurred no more than a few minutes before our arrival. The vehicle, a pickup truck had two occupants, of which the passenger was ambulatory. When the vehicle turned over, the windshield was broken out at the edges as a sheet and pushed up and into the passenger compartment, immediately after which the driver's scalp had come into violent contact, cutting his scalp loose from his head, starting at the middle of his forehead and continuing almost 180 degrees around to the middle of the back of his head. He was bleeding heavily from this wound when we arrived. I could not apply pressure to his head while he was in the truck, so the passenger and I managed to get him out of the truck, and lay him in a head-high position by the side of the road.

I tried first sprinkling the Celox around the periphery of the wound, before I was fully aware of its extent, but it became clear that this was not going to stop the blood, so I pulled back the driver's scalp and liberally poured the Celox all over the top of the wound, laid the scalp flap back in place, and applied pressure with both hands with the one large bandage we had. The driver was conscious but in great pain, and repeatedly tried to reach up and pull his scalp loose, which would lead to more bleeding, and more Celox, but, by the time the first responder arrived, we had the bleeding completely controlled, such that we were able to remove the bloody bandage and replace it with a fresh dressing, without any appreciable further bleeding. It seemed like just a few minutes between the 911 call and the arrival of the first responder, a Park Ranger from Guadalupe Mountains, but it was actually about 45 minutes, during which time, we used a bit more than half of the 35 grams in the Celox package.

Having the Celox with us allowed us to stop the bleeding, which I think otherwise we would have been hard-pressed to do. It doesn't weigh anything, it doesn't cost much, it is metabolized naturally by the body, it has mild antiseptic properties, it is not temperature-sensitive, and it requires no special skill to use: I can't recommend it enough!

Last week my small dog was ripped open when the wind caught an open door and it slammed against her. She was bleeding profusely and had it not been for the CELOX she would have bled out within a few minutes. CELOX saved her life. I keep CELOX in all my first aid kits including one on my belt when I am using my chainsaw.

We use clotting agents in the armed forces, but make sure you don't use these granules if you have large open arterial bleeding. The granules can get in your blood stream and cause major problems. REALLY good stuff for abdominal wounds though!

First, I am not a Doctor, EMT or other medical professional, I am only trained is First Aid. This is an extremely basic first aid kit. I purchased it as I was putting together an emergency kit for my house and needed a first aid kit to include. This was cheaper than a lot out there but when I received it it was really very rudimentary. I probably should have determined this from the product descriptions but it is even more basic than the description led me to believe. If you just need some band aids and compresses, bear in mind this is all you are getting.

This may look like one of those first aid kits you see in commercial vehicles and businesses, with little boxes nicely lined up vertically inside. Not really. What you get is a plastic box, filled with loose bandages, a cold compress, plasitc tweezers and some little pouches filled with over the counter medicines. For what I paid at Warehouse Deals, it was a deal. You may think differently if you pay full price. And it may have been this item only, but it came with what appeared to be the remnants of sticky adhesive, from perhaps tape or labels that held it sealed.

I take vitamins every day. When you think of that, a vitamin that is coated with excess chemical is at the least redundant. It also takes much longer to absorb in your body. Foille Medicated First-Aid Ointment Tube 1 oz

I love, love, love this product! My family and I use it all the time. It's best use is for minor burns. (Curling iron, oven, stove, etc...) The key is, the sooner you get it on the better. I've burned myself on the oven coil, and immediately applied Foille and had NO further pain OR blistering. (I always keep a tube in the kitchen drawer right by the stove.) It's great for sunburns also, however, since a sunburn is acquired slowly, it doesn't seem to have the same efficiency on that type of burn. It also helps take away pain from cuts, and itching from insect bites. I recommend this product above any other salve/ointment I've ever tried. You just can't go wrong with this.

I have used this product for years as I was a machinist for years. It is just a great product especially for sunburns. I do however wish it was still produced in the aerosol cans.
