The instructions tell you to mix the contents of the package in 1/4 cup of warm water and then add more (cool) water after you get it dissolved. The first pack of lemon powder that I dumped into a measuring cup with exactly 1/4 cup of warm water immediately turned into a giant gooey blob, like the previous reviewer mentioned. After about 3-4 minutes of using a spoon to try and break the blob up (which insisted on sticking firmly to the spoon!), I finally just stuck my bare hand in the solution and tried to break it up by grinding it between my fingers. 6-7 minutes into this process, I finally had the goo mostly broken up. So I got another pack out for trial run #2, but this time I used about 1 cup of very warm water and attempted to vigorously stir the water with one hand while trying to dump very gradual, small amounts of the powder into the fast-moving water. This definitely worked better, but it would have been easier if I had three hands instead of two. This time the powder dissolved pretty well. I suppose if you were at home and had a blender handy, that would be the best way to mix this stuff. If you were in the backcountry and had only cool stream water to mix it with...well good luck! So problem number one is the difficulty in mixing. Problem number two was the absolutely horrendous taste...of the lemon anyway. I mean you mix this stuff up so that it's diluted in a full liter of water, so you have quite a task in front of you in terms of drinking disgusting tasting water when you're already possibly sick and nauseated. I'm very let down by this product. Maybe the proportions of ingredients are top notch in terms of electrolytes/glucose. I don't know. What I do know is that it's not very user friendly and tastes like a liquid turd! I'm going to start searching for another option for sure.

Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Moisturizing Lotion, 18 Ounce Pump
Due to having had cancer and have gone through chemo I now react to any type of perfume or dye out there. I really truly do. I have tried everything under the sun until I found plain old Aveeno. I can't even use the Lavender Aveeno but that is ok. This is just as good. My skin stays soft and supple for days. I no longer get rashes from my medications or from too much sun exposure. This stuff is magic. It has solved all of my poor skin issues. And I am extremely pale as well.
I have used this lotion for over a year now. A bottle will last you an extremely long time. I will use one squirt to get my hands and my face. This lotion does not bother my face or give me acne. It makes me feel refreshed and lasts all day.
As for scent, this product really doesn't have one. You will smell a light scent when you put it on, but it will disappear shortly after.
Here is a tip....
When the bottle gets low, you will have to open it up and try to move some of the lotion that is stuck to the sides. After that you should be able to use it for another few weeks.
This is a great product. I will keep using it.

I too was utterly fed up with the claims of expensive lotions and their producers, making false and misleading statements about their "amazing" moisturising abilites.Some of these lotions worked well enough at the moisture bit but at the cost of making you feel like an butter basted chicken most of the day!
I approached the 24 hour effect/ non-pore clogging claims of Aveeno with scepticism. I was very surprised and for once, entirely satisfied with the purchase. It is lovely. It works, it has a pleasant and subtle aroma. Reminded me of very mild, wheatgerm shampoo my Mother swore by in the 70's. Moreover it has excellent healing properties, I had not realised that oats have long been recognised as a major skin healer; even helpful for chronic skin conditions like psoriasis.
LShirley is absolutley right and the post showering tip is excellent. Another tip I would add for problem skin sufferers is to have an oatmeal bath once or twice a week. Have a regular shower to clean yourself, then run a bath with a small mesh/nylon or muslin bag (an old clean sock works!) filled with porridge oats; tied directly under the hot tap (fawcet). Then just soak yourself in the healing fluid!

I have family members in my house that have VERY dry skin. They use this daily after showering and it keeps their skin soft and suptle all day long. It's a great, non-greasy lotion, that does what it claims. The only issue I have is not really with the product itself. After you think it is empty if you cut it open you will find a ton of lotion inside. We actually save all the 'empty' lotions, cut them open and use a cake spatula to get out the lotion inside. I'm pretty hard on my crutches. Though I'm not as active as I used to be, I weigh more than ever and I still take the last two stair-steps with a measure of abandon. And over the years it's been Guardian crutches that got me where I needed to go.I don't know of a more durable adjustable crutch.
I've always had trouble with OTHER crutches that oval-out; the peg that holds the metal tubes at the correct length eventually begins to dig into the tubing, and soon the crutches are making that clicking sound that haunts every step. On OTHER crutches I've also had trouble with the end of the tubing wearing out and digging into the crutch tip. Sure, I can grind the tubing flat again, but I'd rather prevent the problem.
GUARDIAN crutches seem to be made of tougher stuff. Are they? I don't know. But I know I'll get my money's worth before I finally retire them to back-up status. (By the way, I pair my crutches with Tornado Gel Tips by Fetterman.)
If you've never tried these crutches before, I urge you to give them a shot sometime.

If these were elastic instead of plastic I would give them a higher rating. Unfortunately the plastic doesn't allow the wound to breathe and thus the skin starts getting sweaty/oily quicker and ruins the adhesive. They work if you don't mind having to put on a fresh one every hour.

I have NEVER EVER colored my hair before, but my grays were getting so terrible that I needed to try something. I do not have a full head of gray, but just enough that every time I pull my hair back in a ponytail, they are all that you see. I was really worried that I would regret being cheap and not going to the salon, but I had no time and little money. I chose non-permanenat because the box said it was great for first timers. Amazingly, I picked the color that was almost an exact match for the deepest shade of my hair. I was so thankful I did not end up with Redhead or Orangehead. On the down side, IT DID NOT COVER MY GRAYS. Ok.....well, it may have slightly covered half of three of them, but that was it. My hair does look shinier so it is hiding them better than before, but I was hoping they would be gone. I am going to try their permanent line and will let you know how it goes.
