You'll have no choice after cracking one of these puppies and waving it under your noise. This is the brand that the nicer hospitals I've worked for used to use. The one's in the green pack were the ones used at the...less nice hospitals. I didn't notice a difference between the two as they both knocked everybody back when we cracked them for a fainting patient. Now what do I use them for? For waking up when I need to get a project done and need just a little more time to do it in. Drinking coffee at this time ends up keeping me up later than I need to and then messes up my sleep schedule. It has the nice benefit of waking up everyone else in the vicinity, which is why I ask if anybody objects to it before I do. I did some research on the effects of the inhalants and couldn't find any side effects of using them in this proportion, other than irritation of the mucous lining in the nasal cavity for some. This doesn't happen for me, but I have seen about half the patients squeeze their nose a couple times after around 10 minutes of being woken up (other than the initial squeezing of the nose after initial use). Am I suggesting that you use them for this reason? Absolutely not. Especially not without talking to a physician and then getting a second opinion from a second doctor. Ordered the Accu-Chek Aviva which was to have the MultiClix lancing device included. Ordered a box of MultiClix lancets to use with the device. The meter came with the FastClix lancing device which uses a cartridge that costs consideralbly more than the MultiClix,($18 compared to $10.48) are not available everywhere and is of no use to me after I use the 12 lancets which were included.....had read that the test stips were outdated (the 10 included were not out of date), but was not really concerned about that, because I really just wanted the MultiClix device and the kit w/meter was less expensive than just the lancing device alone.....guess I didn't save any money after all....

I have generally had very good luck in ordering through Amazon, but this is very disappointing.

I have a Bakers Cyst & needed a cold/hot warp to relieve pain. I purchased this one and found it to be good. It is a bit bulky and not able to ware it under long pants but thats OK.

You don't want the gel pack directly on the skin anyway.

The gel pack is removable and is held in with velcro. It should fit a average size person. I like the way it blows up so you get the pressure around the knee you want.

My first purchase of this type product. I was so pleased after receiving and using overnight, I bought a second one the next day. Haven't used with heat, only cold and recommend using the ice packs you probably already have in your freezer. The included pack freezes too rigid if frozen for many hours/overnight. The instructions CLEARLY STATE to freeze for only 1 hr., (probably as instructed by the manufacturers legal department) so in today's litigious society, you can't fault the maker. Just use your own judgment if you're the type who takes responsibility for your own actions, and this product should work for you just fine.

Everything is solid. Quality rubber (not plastic) pump and hose. Valve performs flawlessly after over a month's use. Velcro enclosures do a most excellent job. Just a great product IMO. I have also used it without gel pack "in the field" mowing lawns (that's what I do) when I've woken up dragging my leg due to knee pain. In that app, it does add limited support, although I know when I'm in that condition, I shouldn't even be out of bed. But when the work day is done, it's shower, ice pack compressed on the knee, a few cocktails... and I'm good to go in a day or three due mainly to back problems but now with the added pain of a knee problem. Great product though.

I have severe symphysis pubis disorder, and was desperate for relief during my current pregnancy. When I first put this brace on, it did seem to help stabilize my pelvis some. I could walk more comfortably, without the typical clicking and with less pain. HOWEVER...

You cannot sit in this thing. In order to gain any support, it must be placed in such a position that it pinches the skin severely in order to sit down (even through clothes). If I did manage to sit in it for any length of time, it cut off circulation in my legs within a few minutes.

In addition to that, the V2 supporter is quite wide, and will cause chafing unless you switch to boyshorts/boxer-type underwear. There is no back view on the product description, but there are two straps that go diagonally across your buttocks and look VERY strange through clothing. It looks similarly to wearing a bra that is two sizes too small.

Also, it is very awkward to remove, especially when using the bathroom (and we all know how often you need to pee in the third trimester). Not only is the RRR-I-I-I-I-I-P!!! of the velcro embarrassing in a public restroom, you will need to unhook the crotch strap and at least one of the hip straps, then pull it up high enough and hold all straps in place in order to get your drawers down, then make sure to keep a hold on it so you don't plunk one of the straps into the toilet, THEN try to get the thing back on properly whilst trying to not fall over the toilet because you cant see anything past your belly.

I find the most useful time to wear this brace is during the night, to help roll over while sleeping, which is normally very painful.

SO, if I am in agony, and will be on my feet for a long time, I will wear this brace. But otherwise, it just isn't worth it.

This brace was uncomfortable for me maybe bec/ I am pregnant. When I sit down, it is so wide that it gouges me in the belly. I returned it for the plain V2 supporter w/out the hip brace and that was much better!!!

This is an amazing piece of equipment. I have been living somehow with vulvar varicosities for a while now and was finding it hard to stand by the end of the day. Now I can do all that I need to do! I cannot say it is flawless as I did have to purchase new underwear so that I could avoid chafing from the hip brace part and between my thighs (yes, they touch). A few days into use and it's held me up like a champ! There's definitely a learning curve on the adjustments, but once you get it set/figured out, you will be in great shape! I am also considering getting the V2 without the hip brace to see if it's a little more comfortable and so I can have one to wear while one is being washed/drying.

LifeLine AAA 300 PSI 12 Volt DC Air Compressor

NO this is Not a commercial air compressor, it's meant for occasional home use and it does just fine in that capacity. Yes it takes a bit longer to fill up a tire and it makes a lot of noise for something this size. If you want something faster and quieter you can spend two to three times more. I personally don't think it is worth it for what I use it for.

This works well to top off a tires air pressure, a beach ball, football etc. It will not fill up a pool float, air mattress or anything large it just does not produce the large volume of air required to do so.

I only use this 5 to 6 times a year and have been doing so for 4 plus years with the same compressor. This has held up exceptionally well even though it sounds like it is going to fall apart when I run it. It has basically paid for itself with the gas I have saved going to the service station and the fee they charge to use there compressor. Also keeping your tires inflated to the right pressure will slow down on tire wear and maximize the miles per gallon of gas you use.

The negatives are;

1~ It takes longer to fill a tire.

2~ It's noisy.

3~ The fill hose could be longer to fill larger SUV tires.

4~ The gauge is not very accurate. ( I use a separate tire gauge to check the pressure )

The positives are;

1~ It's inexpensive.

2~ It works quite well.

3~ It held up well.

4~ It's compact and easy to store.

5~ My wife thinks I am working very hard outside with all the noise this makes.

All and all this is a good reasonably priced compressor that works quite well.

i have read all the reviews of this type of product and i'm sure glad i didn't go over budget with this one. this thing is noisy for sure but not deafening if you are outdoor. it is slow compared to the station pump but it did a large SUV tire in ten minutes.....not bad i say. the pressure guage is accurate enough when i compared it to the pocket devices. but it is so light, small, easy to use and affordable that you have to accept a few short comings. overall it does the intended job simply good enough for me and i would expect most people to be satisfied also. my one concern with it is that there is no safety blow off system so my wife must pay attention for the ten minutes watching that pressure guage. then again, it is made for adults.

This pump isn't as slow as some of the people here have claimed. It pumps about 2 PSI per minute, which isn't bad given it's size and price. If your tire is 10 PSI low, it will only take about 5 minutes.

Yes, it's loud, but it's an air compressor, what were you expecting? The cords tuck away, and the construction is more sturdy than other models I've seen. I'd recommend having one of these in your car in case you run over a nail or something. This will help you inflate your tire long enough to reach a service station.
