First, I these plugs are great, and I know, because I've used plugs every night for a decade, and have used all shapes, sizes, materials, and price ranges. I also use them during the day at times to create some quiet for reading, work, or just QT. Nothing comes close to these except Flens cotton/wax (if you don't mind the oily feel; I love them at night).And now that I've put in a good plug for these plugs, click on the pricing and ask yourself who would pay more for 500 pair than for 600 pair (3 sets of 200 pair, for the mathematically challenged). The answer is that few would pay it (though Barnum said there is always one). But the very presence of this "option" causes the price for 200 to appear relatively cheap-a real bargain--so more will buy them than if there had not been the pricier option.
I was fascinated to read some of the psychology of marketing, and how we can be tricked into buying something we'd not have been interested in otherwise. There are excellent examples in the book "Predictable Irrational" (eye-opening and fun book). Such approaches work great with magazine subscriptions, from National Geographic to Harvard Business Review, and people spend small fortunes to get the "freebie" when we all know nothing is free.
I do not, in the least, fault these sellers for their psychological tricks, because it is a great price, regardless. But as the economy tightens, marketers are getting savvier, so it pays to make sure we know the true value of a product, versus its price. Frustrating sometimes--but fun if you take it as a challenge.

Alofe African Cape Aloe Gel
This gel pales in comparison to the organic gel I ordered from the Shea Terra Brand. I tried it for the price and i got what i paid for. The cape aloe in this gel has been extremely diluted. Shea Terra was 24.00 for a 4oz bottle which i find steep but it is organic and it worked wonders on my facial skin (Acne, dark marks, large pores, discoloration). During 3 weeks of use my skin improved dramatically. I am hooked on cape aloe because of it but can't get beyond the price. After trying this product to my disappointment however, my search for Organic Cape Aloe gel at a reasonable price will continue.
Nexcare Nexcare Flexible Clear Tape 0.75 X 7 Yards
Sounds crazy, but I tape these babies over my forehead wrinkles when I go to sleep and when I wake up it's like magic: they're gone! The look lasts for about 3-4 hours, not all day, but they definitely aren't as pronounced through the rest of the day. I read about this as an alternative to using something called "frownies" to help smooth out wrinkles overnight. This is a lot cheaper and lasts longer too.

This product was shipped quickly. The adhesion power of this tape is EXCELLENT. I used it on the lip plate of my B foot Lazarro flute. I had to double up on the tape because it is porous. But, it really protects my lips. I have had ZERO break outs since using the tape. I've been practicing a lot and, unfortunately, I'm allergic to the Nickel on the flute. Now I can practice for hours at a time without worrying about allergic breakouts on my lips. CobanTM Self-Adherent Wrap
Coban is the original excellent-performance self-adherent wrap for holding gauze pads, finger splints, broken toes and so on. The big deal was that coban stuck to itself but not at all to hair, skin, scabs, etc. After the 3M patent ran out (I guess) all sorts of cheap knockoffs showed up in drug stores. These knockoffs are high priced and come unstuck. And coban disappeared from the shelves. I could not find any in my whole city of 1 million.So I ordered way, way more than I needed, 30 rolls, for 30 dollars. It's the real stuff, works perfect. And in socks of 5 it will make great gifts for any hostess. Trust me.
This is a nice product to purchase in bulk for wound care and recovery.
Note, because it sticks to itself, it can't really be reused like an Ace bandage.

When I hurt my foot a couple of years ago my orthodics doctor would wrap my foot in these and would give me a supply. After running out I've tried in vain to look for the same wrap but none of the pharmacies carried it. I've worn others but none had the comfort that these give. I'm so glad Amazon had these. I'm definitely buying these again!My foot doctor recommended I use this bandage after my toe surgery to wrap my toes. I now call it the 'magic bandage', my toes feel such tremendous relief once I wrap them in the morning and the remainder of the way, I do not know what I would do without them. It helps reduce the swelling and keeps my toes in place and makes them more comfortable for normal movement. Would recommend to anyone needing a secure and strong bandage! They are a little more expensive SO worth the money!
