The seller, was prompt and conscientious.

I was really dissapointed with the service I received from Medex Supply, especially since I was really interested in this product. I ordered it because I was having nasal surgery, and was told icing my nose would help it heal. I was really excited to have found this product , it seemed like the perfect solution!

However, Medex Suuply's shipping and customer service left a lot to be desired. I got a shipment notification, and waited, and waited as my surgery date drew closer. I emailed asking for a tracking number, but they said they couldn't send me one. I thought that was strange. I waited a few more days with no sign of it, and called them. The woman told me she couldn't provide a tracking number. How is that possible?

I placed the order on December 13th and didn't receive it until Janaury, and by then it was too late. I didn't get the product in time for my surgery, which was the whole point of ordering it. I was very dissapointed.

Since it was of no use to me anymore, I gave the Nosebudd to my best friend who is plagued by nosebleeds. She said it worked great for her. Wish I had been able to try it out myself, to help me recover from my surgery.

Dermabond Single Unit Topical Skin Adhesive .5ml (1 Sealed Vial)

This is an excellent item to have in any first aid kit. It's like super glue for the skin. It's a marvelous adhesive doctors use which allows the skin to bond to itself, eliminating the need for stitches. This will be great in an emergency situation.

I do need to give any possible buyer a heads up though. I purchased these for my emergency medical kit specifically as they were being sold as a 2 Pack for a good price. The caveat that they were only individual vials as opposed to a 2 pack was NOT posted on the listing until AFTER I placed the order. How convenient!

I read the listing extremely carefully because I wanted to know why this seller's price was so much lower than anyone elses. It's usually along the lines that you have to take out a second mortgage for the jacked up shipping and handling that it's no more cost effective than some of the other sellers' higher priced item.

However, there was NOTHING in the title or the listing at that time that these were being sold as single units. So, I thought I was receiving 3 two packs, I received 3. Well, now I know. How bogus and sneaky!! So, keep that in mind. You're buying 1 vial, not a 2 pack. Heck, even the picture still advertises it as a two pack.

AlcoholPreps

The manufacturer must have determined the absolute minimum amount of isopropyl alcohol to saturate these with, meaning they do the job to prep skin before an injection, but just barely. Other pads I've used are more saturated. I use them to clean equipment, and for that purpose they are not that good.

This box of alcohol wipes worked perfectly for what I needed. They come in pairs, so they need to be separated on the dotted line (in case that's an issue for someone), but other than that the wipes are just good alcohol prep pads.

As an added bonus (and in case you didn't know), alcohol wipes are fabulous for getting Sharpies/pen ink off of hard surfaces like countertops/walls/pumpkins/whatever. Rip open one today (or as soon as the shipment arrives)!

The product just I received for this order is not the one pictured and/or advertised.

I posted a photo of the "Coviden" "Webcol" brand of pads in blue and white packaging that was sent to me. The "Kendall" brand name is nowhere on the actual package.

The pads seem fine. I have no idea about brand quality -prep pads all seem generic to me. I am posting this just for (absence of) accuracy in advertising.

Johnson & Johnson Red Cross Non-Stick Pads, 3 Inch x 4 Inch, 10 Count

My grandma has a terible fungating brest cancer wound, one with no chance of healing and this is the only product that we use. I buy them by the hundreds and send them to her. I just wish that they would come in bigger sizes, we stick a few together using medical paper tape to cover the wound surface. Removig them takes a lot of patience because this kind of wound has a lot of fluid and the cancer destroyed the skin, but it can be done and since we use this product we don't have the bleeding problems we had before. Because of the nature of the wound, we need to add absorbant material over the J&J pads, but a little water helps in removing it easier. I would say that without this non-stick pads we would have lost grandma maybe half a year ago. We tried other brands too, but nothing worked better than this.

These gauze are really super. They do not stick to the wound and allow it to heal properly. They are the right size for most common wounds. A great value.

This is a good product. It works--doesn't stick to wounds. The Kendall Telfa Non-Adherent Dressing, 3" x 4", 100/BX are less expensive but they are thinner. Thinner is fine unless there is a lot of bleeding or oozing in which case you need to use a backup dressing. If thickness is a big issue, you might want to go to a local store and get a small package of each and compare. I will be using the Kendall ones because they are less expensive.

But this is an excellent product.

When I was shopping for this, I made a list of all the items that would make a competent disaster preparedness kit. This one has them all, packed tightly in a thick nylon fanny pack, and less expensive than I could have assembled them individually. Even the other brands of these kits carry the "Mayday" brand water and food bar. Every element in this pack is essential. The flashlight requires No batteries, you squeeze the black handle to charge it. The only additions I have made are a particulate respirator mask, a few Nexcare bandages and a folded twenty dollar bill in the first aid kit. I've used this test several times over the past year and have found it to be accurate. On a couple of occasions my son initially denied using the drug that showed positive. However, in every case, he eventually voluntarily confessed. If he hadn't, I might have thought the test was faulty.

I should add that my son tested positive for about 1/3 of the drugs in the test. Too bad it doesn't test for LSD, or he would have tested positive for that, too.

Eventually, he started hiding bottles of good urine (urine that will pass a drug test) around the house and in his pants so that he could fool the test. A word to the wise...

Today, he is on the Dean's list in physics at a major university. So, keep testing parents. Don't give up.

This bag is the best I've seen. SUPER thick and durable. MUCH bigger than you would think! No first aid/trauma kit is gonna come with everything you want. It just doesn't seem to exist or it would cost so much that nobody would buy it. It takes at least $1000-$1500 to have a proper kit. IMO the key is to find a bag that will fit everything you will need but still be organized and manageable. Furthermore, and more important than anything, it needs to have super strong double zippers on every pocket and must be water proof. Has to have dividers and organizational features. Bag arrived within a couple days of orderbigger than I expected and good quality. The bottom is reinforced and rubberized and the color of the bag is very neon, not classic ems orange. I agree with others that the zippers would probably not hold up to intense usage, but it's a great personal car bag. Side straps are a little short, but I don't think that would be a problem if you weren't stuffing the bag. The insert pockets are a little flimsy, thin fabric and less quality zippers and windows, but overall a great bag for the price.

I'm a contract EMT working for a private company out in Los Angeles, so I heavily rely on my jump bag for work. It really is large enough to carry everything, some of which include both adult and child BVMs, OB kit, a large burn kit, my diagnostic tools, stethescope and blood pressure cuff, OPAs, NPAs, hot and cold packs, cervical collars, splints, every type of Trauma sponges and pads, including two large multi-trauma pads. I carry so much more to list, but basically, it will carry everything! The material is tough enough for daily use, maybe not the strongest, but what the heck. If I need to replace it after a couple years, $40 is not terribly expensive to get another one.

I purchased this bag to put in my vehicle to carry my medical supplies. It's roomy and holds a lot of items and I like that it came with 2 zippered clear plastic sided bags that are the size of a mens shaving bags that allows me to see what is inside. The top center flap has loops to hold misc items and it comes with Velcro fasteners to hold items secure. I have had a problem with one of the zippers and the shoulder strap snap holders could be of a better quality as they tend to bend some. But for the price it works for me.
