Micropore Surgical Tape White 3 Inches X 10 Yards - 4 Rolls

My husband had an abdomenal incision that need to be wet/dry packed. This tape was great with holding all the dressings in place, something that 1 inch tape failed to do everytime. I highly recommend this product and am reordering just to keep some on hand for future medical needs.

If you're packing a wound and need bigger, stickier tape than the 1-inch stuff they sell at the pharmacy, you're probably going to like this. Personally, I love this tape because I only need one or two strips to ensure that the wound is protected and ready to go all day. Nothing is perfect (and you should always keep that in mind when purchasing any product), but this is the closest I've gotten to that panacea in wound care. I recommend it.

I also feel it's necessary to mention its price on amazon: this may be the most affordable option I've found on any tape PERFECT for slow healing wounds that just seem to consume all of your paper tape!

As my wife thought she was allergic to Latex, we found out that it may be the adhesives used on band-aids and other medical tapes that causes a reaction. This tape is very sticky and does not cause any kind of reaction from the adhesive. She used it to hold long stretches of bandaging after surgery and being 3" wide, it covered the bandages with room to spare. When done, just pull the whole strip off and you're done! Highly recommend if you have alergies to adhesives...It also cuts with scissors and tears by hand very easy.

My "Wound Care" specialist recommended the 3M Micropore Tape for me since I am very sensitive to just about every other tape\adhesive that has been tried in the past. This has been a really good find as after two weeks of use I haven't had any reaction and my condition will likely require use of the tape for several more months.

The tape is strong and holds very well. I like that it is perforated and can be hand torn into convenient sizes at about 2" increments. Like all long term use tapes, it will leave some sticky adhesive residue on your skin when it is removed, but it is fairly easy to remove by gently rubbing the area with a warm dampened washcloth.

We also use Micropore Paper Tape: White 2" X 10 Yds, Box of 6 as well, with the same great results!
