Swim n Play 4-Ounce Vinyl Liner Patch Kit
My kit was in like new condition when received. I used it to patch two holes in the bottom of a 24' above ground pool under 12,500 gallons of water. I applied the patches as per the directions and it worked like magic. I have since checked the patches (2 weeks later) and they are "welded" to the liner.You basically cut a patch about 2 to 3 inches in diameter, squirt on a generous amount of glue then fold the patch in half like a taco. Take the patch down to the bottom of the pool (yes even under water) and firmly spread it over the hole. Squeeze out the excess glue to the edges. You will have to come up for air a few times but keep returning to the area and press the patch down working the glue out to the edge. After two or three times the patch is stuck and stuck good!!
The people having problems with this kit probably have an incompatible surface they are trying to bond too. The glue smells like a gelled MEK substance that actually melts the vinyl a bit.

Ordered the Accu-Chek Aviva which was to have the MultiClix lancing device included. Ordered a box of MultiClix lancets to use with the device. The meter came with the FastClix lancing device which uses a cartridge that costs consideralbly more than the MultiClix,($18 compared to $10.48) are not available everywhere and is of no use to me after I use the 12 lancets which were included.....had read that the test stips were outdated (the 10 included were not out of date), but was not really concerned about that, because I really just wanted the MultiClix device and the kit w/meter was less expensive than just the lancing device alone.....guess I didn't save any money after all....I have generally had very good luck in ordering through Amazon, but this is very disappointing.

Elta MD Elta Tar
In one area I have seen about a 50% reduction in symptoms and another about 30% reduction. It hasn't made them disappear completely but I am pleasantly surprised. It seems as effective as my prescription Taclonex, if not more so, on areas with muscle underneath. Compared to MG217, it seems to be better MG217 seems a little harsher and leaves the patches a bit more red compared to the elta.Update 8/8.
I have had 99% clearing in one area and 60% in the other. this stuff works! Give it time! Kind of a miracle.

Ace Instant Cold Compress (Pack of 12)
These work as well as can be expected for this type of product. The chemical reaction really just depends on proper mixture and making sure they are not old and therefor containing degraded, less potent chemicals to react. Anyway, I bought one of these at the pharmacy I work at to experiment with it to see how cold it would get and for how long. I tried other brands as well, but this one seemed to be among the best as far as how cold it got and how long it stayed cold. Each was tested at room temperature of 23.5C (~74F). At its coldest which was achieved after about 1 minute, it had a surface temperature of 9C (~48F). No, that is not nearly as cold as a pre-frozen ice pack, but you cannot expect that from a relatively safe chemical reaction like this. Anyway, it stayed "cold" to the touch for approximately 30 minutes after which it had a surface temperature of 20C (~68F) which in my opinion, relative to the ambient temperature of 23.5C, no longer provides any relief no matter what reason you are using it. Keep in mind, if used outside in the heat, this is not going to get as cold or stay cold as long...also, it is going to absorb body heat when you actually use it so plan on it lasting less than my test. I only tested these for keeping with me in my tactical vest while playing Airsoft so that when we stop in a safe location while playing or when we take a break, I can pop one out and cool off a little faster in the hot Texas heat. I plan to test the Dynarex packs that Amazon sells next since they are pretty cheap. Hope this helped.
The packaging for this product is ridiculous. Two icepacks are in a red box, and then several red boxes are placed in a white cardboard sleeve, and then the white packages are placed in a corrugated cardboard box, which is then placed in a larger traditional Amazon corrugated cardboard box. The red and white packaging are not recyclable. I really don't understand the thought process of how items are packaged that truly don't need that much protection from breakage.

You should first be aware that these to not get even close to the temperature of ice. Further, the lack of any structure and the large volume of the bag compared to the small volume of material means that the pack can only wrapped around the sore anatomy. For my daughter, we needed to ice her heel. The design of this product is such that the material just flowed around the to outside, leaving her heel with essentially no cooling at all. Finally, the cold does not last long about 15 minutes at the most. I recently removed a good half dollar sized area of skin on my knee in a fall (with long pants on). I tried the spray and the pain is unbearable for up to a minute until the benzocaine starts helping. If you can stand a lot of pain, it might be worth it to put it on abrasions as well.
I don't see why they had to use such a painful antiseptic.

I have small hands. Cue small peeper routine. It's not true, btw.Anyway, have small hands, and I've always gone for small, or even ladies gloves, to fit correctly and give me sensation. In any kind, snowboarding, gardening, whatever.
These slide on great, ( the Black Lightning brand just sucks, hard to get on all the way, and you'll rip them trying to do so ).
So Semper Force, these are my brand.
Tip: if you have nitrile gloves like Black Lightning that won't get all the way on, drip some water inside, for lube. A little baby powder does the trick too, or anything really. But oils or petroleum is a bad idea, too much slippage, your hand could burst right through at the wrong moment.
Be safe.. And BLACK GLOVES ARE COOL.
