It was still cheaper than buying locally, but ad was not accurate. It highly irritated me that a sticker was on the bottom of box hiding 3/2013 expiration date. Same item on ebay was 4.75 with 5/2013 expire date, but no 2 day amazon prime shipping. This was 7.02. I was thinking what a deal, but NOT.

Amazon refunded my money and let me keep product so I have to rate this a 5. Product is great so I'm real happy with a free tube of it.

Great at healing up deep sores. My husband had skin ulcers on his leg. This product works really well to heal it up.

This is excellent at healing. Don't order more than one tube because the expiration date is only a few months away and you may have too much to use. To me, this is much more effective than OTC antibacterial ointment. This is also great on minor burns.

The item was listed as being part of a 12-pack when I purchased it, but only one 1oz tube comes with it. I'm not terribly knowledgable regarding desired active ingredient strength (active ingredient is silver chloride, although silver nitrate is also listed as an 'inactive ingredient'), but for my application, treating a 2nd degree burn, the 55ppm concentration in this product hasn't proven effective. I'm now trying KimberlyClark Professional "safeskin", with 240ppm of silver chloride (this burns with application, a good sign). Perhaps 55ppm is sufficient to prevent infection of a newly-acquired wound, however.

I've read quite a bit on the seeming endless healing powers of the new crop of silver based antimicrobial gels. Don't believe everything you read. I didn't notice a bit of difference between this stuff and good 'ol Neosporin that my Dr. always gives me for things like this.
