It is very helpful in teaching you to catch the ball with your hand and not your body. It also helps improve your ability to make strong handed catches.
My grandson plays slot receiver for his high school. He's pretty athletic however there were several times last season where he did not catch the ball with his fingertips and it bounced off of his body for an incomplete pass. These gloves force the receiver to first catch the ball with his or her fingertips, then bring the pass in to the body for security. They work! We have been working out since Christmas and his catching has noticibly improved. His fingers and hands have become much stronger and his confidence is soaring. I can't wait for his senior football season to start.
