Having four kids in sports and living on a farm, we always have someone wearing a bandage. I had a cheap pair of bandage scissors that came with a medical kit, but they often couldn't handle thicker bandages. I bought a coupe pairs of these for first aid kits. They cut things well, but they are on the small side. Get out a tape measure so you can see for yourself. They do appear to be stainless steel, and the edge is sharp enough to cut fabric and first aid tape, paper, fine. Bought this along with other items for my wife's athletic training course. As I am normally the subject of her practice wrappings, these scissors help me sleep at night as I don't have to worry about here possibly jabbing scissors into my skin. They easily cut through layers of athletic bandages and I have no complaints.
