Buy Prestige Medical Long Nurse Compression Socks, Black Now
Ordered 2 pair of these, one black, and one white. I thought for the price they would probably be light weight as far as compression...well, I am pleasantly surprised, as they are more like medium to heavy weight...husband had significant swelling of his left foot and ankle area due to having to wear an air cast on his leg. After wearing this sock for one day the swelling was 80% gone, and completely gone the next day! He says he thinks the white ones are even "tighter" than the black ones, though they both say one size fits all...so, if you are looking for a medium to heavy weight compression, these are great! Free shipping is added bonus!Read Best Reviews of Prestige Medical Long Nurse Compression Socks, Black Here
I am a nurse and work long hours. I have been buying compression socks for years and have tried almost every brand. This time, I thought I'd search on Amazon and see what they have. These are my favorite socks for the price. They are comparable to other compression socks sold at nursing stores. What I like the most is there is no tight rim at the top of the sock that cuts off my circulation like some of the socks do. I have bought this item several times because I love them so much.Want Prestige Medical Long Nurse Compression Socks, Black Discount?
My wife love these socks. Only got 2 pair and she will order more...She is a tall person with size 10 shoe and they worked great for her. She wore yesterday to work and is on her feet most of the time and when she got home she said her legs did not hurt at all. She is wearing another pair today.....GREAT PRODUCT!!!!DuoDERM Hydroactive Gel 30 g Box: 3

Misleading information. Web site sales are many times unclear. Requested 1 tube, instead was sent three tubes packaged as one unit. Instead of being charged for one tube was charged for three. Does it sting? Yessir it does. I use it on wounds that are probably supposed to be to big for it, so believe me, I have dealt with some stinging. However, as some other reviewers have said, not only does the stinging subside relatively quick, but with it goes the original pain.
Does it stink? Eh, I guess, but when a product works, it's forgiven. Meet someone who is not the most attractive person in the world and then fall in love with them, it might not make them a beauty queen, but they look better all the time to you.
Simply put, this product, when used correctly, works. my recommendations are as follows.
1. Put this product on as you are watching your evening TV. This will accomplish three things, one, it allows you to apply and let dry without thinking about it, two, while you're sleeping, it seems to setup extra strong. It will not just rub off throughout the night, and with no hand washing or anything going on, it really has a chance to take. Finally, you at least have that first overnight period of healing under your belt, and you will often times be amazed at what that small amount of time can accomplish.
2. Apply New Skin generously. As it settles it will thin out, but how thin do you need it to be? I apply two, sometimes three coats.
Using these two tips, I have had wounds heal incredibly fast.I've used liquid bandage for years, works really well. It is great to put over blisters when you need to keep doing the activity that gave you the blister. It is great on the knuckles under hand-wraps and boxing gloves, especially with new wraps or gloves, either for prevention or after you already have blisters. I've also used it on my thumb for bowling, to prevent blisters or cover up a blister that's already there. It is fairly waterproof as well, and great to put on before swimming. I recommend putting on a couple coats for the best protection, just wait for it to dry between applications. Also, try to apply it and let it dry outside, or at least somewhere with lots of ventilation...It has a strong odor that will stick around for a while.

***This is not a scientific study, all evidence presented is anecdotal. ***I have now used New Skin twice on relatively large burns and abrasions with amazing results. Once was road rash after a bicycle race (~ 6 square inches over three wounds). The second was second and third degree burns from a camp fire (~ 4 square inches in two wounds).
The road rash healed with almost no scarring, despite being deep enough to burn through the skin and subcutaneous fat.
The burns are currently doing well, though it has only been a week and they have not healed completely.
I have not been able to find many details about using New Skin on wounds this large. I don't know if it is safe, or even a good idea, but it seems to work.
I have used both the spray and the brush applicator form of this product. The spray form is much easier to use and the liquid form is cheaper per application.
In both cases, I did not apply New Skin for hours or days after the injury occurred. When applying I cleaned the wound with an aniceptic wash and allowed it to air dry. After it was dry I applied an even coat over the entire area and a 5-10mm border around the wound. It formed an artificial scab. I reapplied twice a day to fill in cracks and maintain the border. If you reapply a full coat each time you end up with a huge accumulation after a few weeks (1-3mm).
The artificial scabs are transparent, so you ( and everyone around you if you're lucky enough to wound your hand) will be delighted with a view of what I believe is a mixture of plasma, platelets and blood. It looks like puss, but I think it's the liquid that dries to form real scabs (sometimes I spring a leak and it dries into a scab). IF THE WOUND BEGINS TO SWELL, FEEL HOT OR BECOME RED IT MIGHT BE INFECTED.I get cracks on my fingers which make even washing my hands painful. Standard band-aids (even those that claim to be "waterproof") still allow water to get into the cracks/cuts -and end up falling off anyway once they get wet a few times. Enter "New Skin" liquid band-aid... it works much better than standard band-aids because it bonds directly to your skin. It works well, but I have two complaints...
1) If the cut is on an area that bends (fingers, knees, etc.), there is a good chance the product will eventually open up, breaking the band-aid "seal". It would be great if they could make the product even more flexible to better accommodate cuts on moving parts.
2)[For cuts on fingers] After a few hand-washings I find it starts to peel off at the edges, which makes it kind of look like peeling skin. That, coupled with the fact that the film enhances any redness of the wound, makes the wound look more nasty than it probably is.
Still, it works much better than a standard band-aid, so I would certainly recommend giving it a try. Maybe you won't have the same issues I do.
With MRSA and other Staph infections on the rise, I know that it's important to keep open wounds covered and protected. If you can't cover your wounds with clothing, this is the next best thing.
PS: As another review mentioned, it stings like hell when you first apply it (but you get used to it) and the odor is very strong (I would suggest stepping outside to apply it, or somewhere with good ventilation. It stung when i first applied it, but it stayed on over two weeks. Thought about picking it off after a week, but then i decided to let it fall off when it wanted to.

Once I hit 4 months pregnant, I really appreciate the support it gives me. Other, smaller straps just didn't contain my tummy, and I like that I can just slide it up or down as my activity requires. Occasionally I get impatient with the shoulder straps, but when I am REALLY big (after 30wks) the straps are indispensible. My doctor told me to buy this because my back pain was so bad by my 3rd month that I couldn't stand upright without a pinching pain in my lower back. Within two days my back pain was at a tolerable level, and now I am even exercising! It is a little difficult to get on, and it shows with ALL of my maternity clothing, but it is worth it. I tightened two straps with safety pins so it is a lot more comfortable for my growing belly. This is the exact invention that I needed. With a toddler running around I couldn't be laying in bed all day. If I have any more children, I will definetly use this.

We purchased this for my father in law who has a huge stomach hernia and is unable to have surgery. A regular hernia belt would not work with his bad back so we thought we would try this because of the straps and it works great!!!! I would highly recommend this to any pregnant person as well as anyone with our type of problem!!!Read Best Reviews of It's You Babe Prenatal Cradle Here
Around the 22 week mark of my twin pregnancy, I knew I needed some support for my ever-growing uterus. I found out about the Prenatal Cradle through a book on twins. I had tried several maternity belts out before & had to return them, as they did not provide enough support.I found it easy to adjust to & comfortable to wear.
I am now almost 32 weeks pregnant, and I still wear my Prenatal Cradle Best Cradle every single day. If I don't wear it, I have more frequent contractions & both my belly and back hurt.

Oh how I wish I had known about this a month ago! This is my new favorite pregnancy item I just got it at 38 weeks after having pain from a torn abdominal muscle, about three inches across just to my right of center, due to the weight of my bundle-of-joy-to-be, and I now have much less pain from the muscle pulling. It's awesome and surprisingly comfortable! I wonder if I had started using it earlier if I could have prevented the problem in the first place, but I'll try that out next time. I'm quite small and only gained about 25lbs, but the force from how concentrated the weight gain has been put a lot of strain on those muscles. The belts might work just as well if back pain is your issue, but for me, I wanted the straps to give added "upward" support.A couple of things that keep this from being 5 stars despite the comfort and benefits the elastic material is quite itchy and the whole apparatus needs to be worn over a layer of clothing (and then, of course, under another). The straps are especially itchy and would benefit from a softer backing. But, once over a tank, it's relatively comfortable.
The second issue is that it would be nice if the straps were adjustable or detachable. It shows under a lot of shirts because the cross in the front makes the straps come close to my neck. It would be nice to be able to pull those over to the outside old man suspender style so that I could make a choice based on my clothing but still keep the support. Or, the belt might be enough early on, so it could work to have them be detachable. Maybe after this one is born, I'll make some adjustments with my sewing machine to make that an option : )
But, all in all, this is a great product I would highly recommend.
