Lumiscope Blood Pressure and Rappaport Stethoscope Kit

I purchased this for a class thinking I would upgrade after graduation. Upgrade not necessary. This is an excellent product. The stethoscope is highly audible and comes with all the accessories. The cuff is made of sturdy nylon and gauge is easy to read. This is a great deal. I highly recommend this product.

I like the kit and the larger bag to store it in. Also like the help I received when something didn't seem to work on the stethoscope. Through a phone call it was resolved. Thank you

First review of a product on amazon, and I wish it where on a different subject matter. Facts are facts, it's an expensive buy. The tradeoff is...

1) Equipment designed to be used easily under duress

2) Sterile.

3) Nothing in this pack is beyond teaching another family member how to use. But these are not band-aids. This is life saving equipment.

I bought 2 at 40 dollars less than the retail sight is currently offering. Go amazon! Shipping was on time, and NAR rocks.

Invest in saftey, invest in security, and peace of mind.

To be short and to the point, it's a rugged little Cordura nylon pack, stock full of tier 3 or(2aaa) for those med nerds out there of trauma suppression to cuts and bullet wounds. Get this rig if you want reliability in a small yet purpose built platform.

but mostly it's just quick-clot bandages a couple of nasal pherngials and to my surprise needle-decompression tubes. not enough room on the UTG set to put on it though

I have used this product for several weeks and have not noticed a thing. I use it conjunction with Silver Water, which I have been using even longer. Frankly, I have not gotten any benefit. If someone who reads this thinks I may be doing something wrong, please enlighten me. For a church related organizaiton to sell this product, I would think there was some measurable benefit. I am not negative on it, I just want it to show me some benefit. This goes for Silver Water too.

DKL1212 - Sterile Gauze Pads, 2x2, 12 Ply, 100/BX, White

A very poor product. Gauze pads are extremely thin and non-absorbent. It's easy to understand why the price is so low. However the product is not worth the cost no matter how low.

These gauze squares were pathetic. They were so thin, that one had to use 3 of them to one of a J & J square.

The product is OK, but much thinner than store bought 12 ply pads. With this product I need two to obtain the same absorbency as with a store bought product. This takes much of the price advantage away

It takes 6 of these little buggers to equal one of any major brand gauze. Even that is not the last of the problem. The material is so rough they should be used for sandpapering furniture.

Although there were 12 layers (similar to the items sold in the retail drug stores) of gauze in each pad, the individual stands in each layer were so far apart that it took more than 6 pads to make up the thickness of one sterile gauze pad that i would normally use. Yet the price I paid for each pad was not much less than what I would normally pay at the drug store.

I buy Bactine First Aid Antiseptic Anesthetic Liquid Locally, it is the First Aid I will use when I cut or burned myself to Prevent Infection. I like it because it doesn't Sting unlike Alcohol and it has the effect of Cooling and Soothing the Wound at the same time that Kills Germs. Bactine First Aid has a Medicine like Smell and is not that Strong or Unpleasant, I have been using it for years for External Use Only. I've never Tried Bactine on a Cold Sore, but I don't think I would apply it to my mouth anyways, just for Scrapes and Cuts or Burns! ...Thank You D.D.

Kerlix Type Gauze Rolls 4"X4 yds, Sterile

This is so much cheaper than the stuff you can buy in the store, not to mention the quality is so much better. I was paying about 2+ dollars a roll for flimsy gauze before deciding to buy this. It's less than a dollar a roll and it lasts so much longer, absorbs more and you don't have to use as much. No complaints at all about this. If you have a wound that needs to be treated for a long period of time this gauze just can't be beat.

Another thing I wanted to add, I'm using it to pack a deep wound that is moist, but not really draining anymore. I ran out of this and had to go to another brand (curad I believe) while more came in. It stuck horribly to the wound and was painful to remove. This has never stuck. I'm not sure why that is, but this isn't as stretchy and is woven completely different from the one I bought. Something else to consider I suppose.

I have ordered these several times now in bulk, and they get them out fast and they are just what they say they are. non latex kerlix type rolls of gauze, works great and best price I could find anywhere.

So when the package breathes in and out when you lightly squeeze it, guess what, its not sterile. And I'm supposed to pack this into a bleeding wound? I might as well just save some time, shoot the patient in the head and be done with it. It is cheap and... yes, you get what you pay for!

This is hospital grade stuff in my opinion. The rolls where much fatter than J&J and didn't require scissors to open. They were also significantly cheaper than J&J, even on Amazon. They didn't roll on quite as easy as some, but the coverage was way better.

This tape took away all the problems we were experiencing with skin rash and breakdown from other tapes. Even using the residue removal (which helped)from other tapes, the skin continued to show signs of irritation. This tape solved all of that. It is definitely worth the extra cost.

the product is excellent. The company has poor customer service. I had selected 2-3 day delivery, at a cost of 26.00. Because of a holiday this was not possible. I called customer service and asked fo a refund on the express delivery charges and for them to send the package regular ground delivery, they said OK. This did not happen. I would never buy anything from this company again.

First Aid Only 3/8" X 1-1/2" Junior Plastic Bandage, 100-Count Boxes (Pack of 6)

Band-Aid and Curad used to pack strips of these little "shaving cut" bandages in every box of their assorted bandages. Now the traditional "Junior" bandages have become something of an endangered species. They've been replaced by larger "Juniors"--mini-strips that are convenient for a lot of things, but are too large to put on your face. Small "spot" bandages don't work on your face, either, because they don't want to stick to mobile, irregular surfaces.

These Junior bandages are the same size as the traditional Juniors, and they're better, because they have improved adhesive that really sticks, and nonstick gauze pads that don't cling to healing cuts. They also come in a box with a nice dispenser tray. These are high quality bandages, and I'll be happy to purchase "First Aid Only" brand bandages of any kind in the future.

For my household, 600 Junior bandages is sort of a lifetime supply, but the per-bandage cost is so low (with shipping included) that it made sense to buy six boxes instead of a single 100-bandage box (for example, First Aid Only brand, Jr. Plastic Bandages (3/8"x1-1/2") 100/Box; or brands that I haven't personally tried, Economy Value Sheer Plastic Junior Bandage 100/box or Bandage Junior Size Plastic 3/8 X 1 1/2 100/box. At least now I have a generous supply, and don't have to worry for now about the size being completely discontinued.

I don't know much about stethoscopes, but this one seems to work well enough. My doctor told me to get one so I could get used to hearing my son's breathing and recognize when he's wheezing before using the nebulizer so we don't overuse it. It is hard to hear my son breathing, which is good cause I know he's not wheezing.

3M #574-35 35CT3/4x3 Strip Bandage

Don't you hate bandages that leave a sticky film of glue on your fingers after you remove them. I do. After years of putting up with bandaid brands nasty goo I found Nexcare Comfort bandages. They are cloth material or some such and move and stretch as you do. But the greatest thing is, ... that when you change them they come off CLEANLY. No sticky gooey stuff on your hands or wherever. Nexcare also makes a plastic bandage, but I don't recommend those, they will not come off cleanly. In fact they will tear to pieces leaving plastic and goo on your hand etc. So make sure you get the Nexcare "Comfort" model of bandage. You'll be glad you did. These are not waterproof bandages by the way, but most bandages aren't. Enjoy!
