Good alcohol. Very strong. I use it for putting in my ears, mixed with a little vinegar, to prevent ear infections from kayaking. If you buy the stuff in the stores, it is either 70% or 90% alcohol. That means it's also got a lot of water in it, which stays behind when the alcohol evaporates. Not good. This stuff leaves no water. The vinegar does, but the high acid content kills the bacteria later.
Unable to find 99% Isopropyl alcohol at local drug stores (70% being the available grade), I quickly found it on Amazon. HAZardous MATerial status delayed the shipment a bit, but it arrived well packed and as advertsed.

I have rarely been able to find 99% Isopropyl alcohol in any drugstore, grocery store or big-box store. Isopropyl alcohol is available most commonly in 70% concentration and it's pretty esay to find it at 91%. 99% is more difficult to find in my experience.
The difference between the alcohol concentration levels is attained by the addition of water. Consequently, 99% concentration has only 1% water which means the alcohol will evaporate extremely quickly whereas 70% will not evaporate nearly as quickly.
For the minor scratches that you want to disinfect, you don't necessarily have to worry about the concentration level as much. But for use in cleaning circuit boards or other more critical tasks along those lines, you'll want this 99% concentration. Isopropyl Alcohol is a commodity so buy the cheapest you can find because there is no difference between brands as long as the concentration is the same.

Can't find 99% alcohol locally. Use this for cleaning and disinfecting. Very good for electronics since freon is no longer available. The shipping is a little expensive, so I ordered three at a time. The shipping was still a bit more than the product itself.

Great product, i use it whenever i need to clean electronics or my mountain bike brakes. My only thing i hated, the shipping cost more than the actual product.
I got a GREAT kit made by "First Aid Only" from Costco several years back. This kit also claims to be from "First Aid Only". If so, they must have gone cheapo. My old kit had a ton more bandages, including 4 not 2 butterfly wound closures, 4 castile soaps instead of 3, and at least twice as many of most of the other bandaids and other items listed on this one. Bandaids are cheap so why do they stiff ya? Also, my kit cost about 30 bucks, and it has more stuff. So can't recommend this kit keep looking. There are fewer items for a higher price and I also believe that the items are of lower quality than the one I got previously from the same company for a much lower price.
