I ordered this, hoping to hold an ice pack underneath for my wrist. It had no stretch whatsoever. I would not reccommend this size at all

I know this is not an approved usage of this bandage but I use them to wrap piano legs.

I have a couple of puppies that sometime mark the piano legs. I used to wrap the legs with other stuff but they made the piano so unsightly.

These are black and easy to put on and take off.

I put them in the mesh bag designed to wash lingerie in and put them in the laundry.

Works well.

Cortizone-10 Cortizone-10 Cooling Relief Anti-Itch Gel Maximum Strength

I don't find that this helps with itches for more than 30 minutes to an hour, max. The directions state not to apply it more than 3 to 4 times daily (which I don't follow, because my current bites itch during all of my conscious hours).

I think "cooling relief" is a great idea, but I don't really feel any cold sensation.

3 stars because it's better than nothing.

This heals my behind-the-ear ear eczema in about two days. It's not too severe. I can't say NOT picking at it wouldn't heal itself, but I have a bad habit of peeling the skin/scab off. My ear eczema isn't very itchyjust flaky and kinda burns. I don't apply it regularly; I usually apply it once I've really irritated my ear. Then I usually lose the tube once a week perpetuating the cycle of picking and applying. Don't do this!! There is a cooling feeling but it's overshadowed by the burning feeling from my weeping eczema.

Went years with dealing with scaling/flaking hair line despite trying several products, including shampoos and creams. Tried cortizone after reading an article stating that this helps Seborrheic Dermatities. Did not expect much, but firgured it couldn't hurt. But to my surprise it made it go away completely!! Self-adhesive bandages are ... how shall I say it? ... total bomb-diggity. I love to use it. Small rolls at the pharmacy, however, cost so much that I was very sparing. With this super value pack, I'm wrapping like JayZ. Arms, legs, elbows, fingers, toes, bottles, wire cages, fridge door handles, headbands, packages, yard tool handles. I use it like tape, cushiony tape.

These work great as bandages, and are cheap. Keep in mind that the adhesive, while not really sticky, sticks really well to itself, so once you put this on it's pretty hard to unwind and then rewind the bandage. I ended up must cutting it and using a new one.

This elastic bandage is really needed for someone who is undergoing medication that causes the skin tissue to tear easily. Some adhesive bandages actually will tear the top layer of skin. Not these.

Sport Utility Blanket by SOL

I just bought this item and haven't had a chance to use it in the field yet. This is a 5' x 7' (1524mm x 2134mm) plastic tarp/blanket with one metalized side. There are metal grommets at each corner and in the middle of each long edge.

This competes directly with the "All-Weather Space Blanket", which is a well-proven and very useful bit of gear available at about half the price. AMK's version is the same size, but thinner, so that it packs to only about 60% of the volume of the older product. AMK claims that this blanket is more reflective and six times stronger despite its thinness.

I like the reduced bulk, and all else equal, would consider it worth the price premium for many applications. The big negative so far is that the product has an extremely unpleasant "chemical" smell. I have it airing out on my porch. If the smell dissipates, I will test the product in recreational use and revise the review according to how well it performs in the field. If not, this is a two-star product at best, to be used only in emergency.

UPDATE 09/05/2012: The odor has mostly, but not completely, dissipated with airing. Will take into the field soon.

it is an ok tarp, blanket it does what it says but boy does it reak, it smells like a chemical spill. if course it is better than being wet and freezing, but still, if you pick one up, unfold it and let it air out for 2-3 days.. or a week. other than that it is a good product, it is a little thinner than i expected. not sure if id buy again.
