This vitamin works really well for me as I am extremely allergic to fresh water fish and some sea water fish so I wanted to make sure that I purchased a good quality of fish oil. This along with other vitamins that I take, in my opinion, has allowed me to stay extremely healthy.Pyramex Ztek Indoor Outdoor Mirror Lens Safety Glasses

good product. it was not what i expected it to be, but still worked out great for i needed!the self adhering wrap does just as it is described.I hurt/sprained my thumb and ankle, and this bandage is what helpend me the most getting through it all. Fresh out of the bag it is great! Over time it starts to collect dirt/dust and starts to look and feel dirty and old... it might even loose a significant portion of its self adhesing properties. If you are a busy person, doing your business out and about all day it will last 5-7 days tops.It is light weight and is great to have around just in case. I have one in my backpacking first aid kit too.
I recommend this product, cheaper here than in CVS or Walgreens in my neck of the woods.

I bought some items to round out my first aid kit and bought these because of the name brand and price.About a week later I got my first bout of tendinitis and the only relief I could get was to wrap my wrist with this bandage. I'm so glad I had it on hand. (pun intended) I'm buying more to put back in stock. It pays to have a well stocked kit because you never know when you will need something. This wrap is well made and provided a perfect grip and stuck without needing clips or tape.
Abreva Abreva Cold Sore/Fever Blister Treatment
I usually get fever sores(cold sores) about 8-10 times a year. Usually every 2 months, I get a new outbreak around my lips. It could be a minor outbreak, with a simple little bump on the upper or lower lip, or a grotesque outbreak cluster of about 4-7 sores at once. Usually, these sores last 1-2 weeks, sometimes longer. The day I discovered Abreva, that all changed.
As it states, Abreva cuts down the duration of cold sores quite dramatically. If you manage to detect a cold sore as it just begins to form (usually indicated by a burning or tingling sensation on the lip area), application of Abreva will possibly event prevent the outbreak entirely. Upon a breakout of sores, I find that consistent application cuts the duration of sores from 1-2 weeks to a mere 1-3 days! Don't beleive the utterly ridiculous accusations that Abreva is a placebo...this stuff works, and it works well.
Aside from cutting down the duration of the sore, Abreva also releives any burning and itching you may get from them, so after a while you may not even realize that they're there. The cream is comfortable, and it doesn't sting, burn or itch after application. Though the white cream leaves a film after application, if you rub it in strongly the film disappears. Though the box recommends 4 applications a day, I usually double that to 8, and up to 10 times a day for those particularly brutal outbreaks.
There are some disadvantages to Abreva, and perhaps the greatest of all: the price!
Amazon.com, bless them, has this item listed at 13.99...try finding Abreva at that price anywhere else and you're in for a shocker...it usually goes for $18 on average, and we're talking a VERY small tube here. Don't let the size of the box fool you, the actual tube is less than half the size of my pinky finger! So in short, the cream is a marvel, but the price is simply outrageous. If you are plagued with cold sores on a routine basis, then its worth the price. If not, then I can't justify spending $18 on Abreva if you only get cold sores once in a blue moon. But like I said, thank you Amazon for the much cheaper price!
Another disadvantage is that the tube tends to leak. Upon opening the tube for the first time, the cream tends to stat pushing itself out. When you open the tube for next use, you may find that alot of the cream has been squished into the cap, and that more of it will push out immediately upon the cap being removed. This leads to a lot of waste of the product.
Another disadvantage is that the cream is virtually ineffective at treating cold sores that appear on the underside of the lip closer to the inside of your mouth, mainly because you'll end up inadvertantly licking the cream off or it will get washed away by your saliva.
Finally, the cream dries your lips up quite alot...I would recommend using chapstick to moisturize your lips while using Abreva, because they will become very dry and chapped with continued usage.
Overall, Abreva is one of the greatest things to happen to us cold sore slaves ever. Herpicin-L is utterly useless, Campophenique does little more than burn, dry out and taste awful, and chapstick only exacerbates the sore. Abreva is the way to go. If you can justify shelling out the cash for Abreva, then by all means, do it. Those of us that get multiple outbreaks a year will love it. Others who rarely get them needn't apply, unless the breakout is particularly brutal. Abreva helped me on several occasions. I think it is a good product. It does not work as well on my wife. Since my wife has more frequent (and severe) outbreaks than I do, we have done quite a bit of product testing. Here is what we found:
First, sun exposure is her #1 trigger for an outbreak. Lip balm with SPF 15 has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the number of outbreaks. Chapped lips also trigger an outbreak, so a quality lip balm (other than Carmex) again works well.
Second, there is a product called Viroxyn that works better than Abreva. The active ingredient is .13% benzalkonium chloride. The same active ingredient is also found in Bactine. Viroxyn is $10 per dose, and generic versions of Bactine are very inexpensive. Both my wife and I have used Bactine for our last couple of outbreaks, and we believe we have found the next-best thing to a cure. If you have success with Abreva, then you know that catching the cold sore early in its development is key. Same goes for our Bactine treatment. At first tingle, we saturate a q-tip with Bactine and rub the spot firmly for about 2 minutes. Repeat 4-6 times the first day. We find that the growth stops quickly, and the remaining (tiny) sore heals in a couple of days. If we catch it fast enough, it doesn't even scab over. I am not a doctor, and I am not qualified to give medical advice. I am sharing my personal experience in hopes that you can also find a way to reduce the pain and embarrasment from cold sores. Always follow label instructions for OTC medications.

Psst! Let me tell you a secret. I've been plagued with cold sores for perhaps forty years. I've never kept a detailed record, but it seems one has appeared on a semi-periodic basis every three to six months or so. (When I lived in the South Mississippi, actually for 15 months, I was curiously unafflicted for the entire time. Perhaps it was the diet of spinach greens, grits, fried chicken and Moon Pies.) I've tried everything. Applying hot poultices of puréed whale blubber and the rattles from two-headed rattlesnakes. Dancing naked under a full moon belting out the theme song to "Green Acres". Consulting shifty-eyed herbalists in refuse-strewn back alleys from Cairo to Lhassa. Sacrificing virgins. But, nothing has had the slightest therapeutic effect until ABREVA.After forking over Big Bucks the first time for a teensy-weensy tube, it was a shattering self-revelation to consider how desperate I'd become. But, outside of that rip-roaring good time I once enjoyed in that flyblown Tripoli hotel room, it's the best money I've ever spent.
The key to using ABREVA is to get it on the site of the embryonic blemish as soon as you can, and ideally when you first feel that special tingle that screams, "You'd be better off with leprosy!" Without even excusing yourself to visit the loo, apply it during that power business lunch if you have to. In my experience over the last year and a half, the ointment stops cold the development of the blister. It's effective stuff.
Now, I realize that my endorsement here is purely anecdotal and not based on any scientific study I've done on a pork-barrel government grant. But, hey, what have you got to lose? Especially if you're discovering, as I did, that two-headed rattlesnakes are becoming easier to find than virgins, and those Third World back alleys are being bulldozed for McDonald's franchises.

I am a dentist who sees a lot of people with cold sores, which is reactivation of the Herpes virus. The cold sore is the virus replicating usually as a result of some sort of stress that decreases one's the immune system.Abbreva has been shown in clinical studies to be effective, but the key with this treatment or any other for that matter is to start when you first feel the tingling of another cold sore coming on. If you wait and the cold sore erupts, virtually nothing will relieve it except time and your own immune response. So start applying Abbreva immediately for the best chance to limit the development of the cold sore.
Your dentist or doctor can prescribe anti-virals in either a topical form or a tablet form for severe cold sore cases, but once again, if it is not started immediately, the cold sore will develop and stay with you for 10 days or so. Ask for Zovirax or Denavir.
Always use a lip balm with sunscreen and too much sunlight can trigger a cold sore.
Abbreva is a good product. As with any product, it will not work in everyone who tries it but it is certainly worth a try.

The abreva product says for best results, begin using at the first sign of your oncoming coldsore. Well, I was one of the unlucky coldsore victoms who didn't catch onto the tingling warning sign soon enough. In a desperate attempt to at least sooth my new sore, itchy little pal, I started applying the Abreva every hour it seemed. At first i thought it was not doing me any good, but i kept on applying. Wow, does it work! My coldsores usually last about a week before starting to go away. Here i am...3 days later, and its already starting to heal! It didn't help ease my symptoms right away, but it really has helped to speed up the healing time.Bengay Ultra Strength Pain Relieving Cream (2 X 4oz) Twin Pack

Geritrex benzoin compound tincture for skin protectant - 1 oz
steri strips for wound closure. Anyone trying to actually use them without Tinture of Benzoin as a means of keeping the strips attached to the skin, will find that they will not adhere. So, folks, Tincture of Benzoin is an essential item, unless you intend to suture the would closed, or use a surgical staple gun, because the steri strips you've been carrying won't work without it. Don't learn the hard way, this is a very inexpensive item to add to any kit.(#1 REVIEWER)Benzoin tincture of benzoin is typically used as a treatment for damaged skin. It is often applied before applying tape or other adhesive bandages, especially if you have to keep taping and re-taping the same area. I use it slightly differently. I have a friend who is an avid skier and applies Benzoid Tincture to avoid blisters from skiing boots. When I told him about a corn I have on top of one of my toes which is irritated by otherwise very comfortable shoes, he suggested I start using a bit of Benzoid Tuncture on top of my toe. Since Benzoid tincture is often used as an antiseptic (due it the benzoin as well as its alcohol solvent) I felt safe using it on a corn that was irritated. I found that the compound really helps. Now my corn feels less irritated and less painful.
I am attaching a photo that shows an open container of the benzoin tincture (photo can be located by following 'customer photos' link under the main photo). The content is a dark brown thick liquid that hardens a bit as it dries. A small hole in the cap allows you to dispense a small amounts. The liquid does stain if you spill it as I found out the first time I applied it to my toe. Now I put something under my foot as I apply the compound.
Overall, using it on my toe every day made me more comfortable and I recommend it.

Does what it's supposed to: makes your skin sticky as h e double toothpicks. I use it when I need to keep compression running gear in place on my legs during a long, sweaty race. Just put a little of this on a swab, make a few lines (it's brown, so easy to see) across the thigh, ankle, calf, or wherever, and wait a minute for it to dry. Your compression gear won't move. I also use it for its more normal use of pre treating areas that are going to get athletic tape or bandages. This stuff plus a 3M waterproof bandage means 3 days without a bandage change, even if you sweat like a sprinkler.NITRO PILL CASE NECKLACE 1 EACH
Cons:
The chain is not 24" it is 23.5 ". The extra half inch might have made the diff for me to use it as is.
For you military minded: RTFQ! For you who are not: Buyer Beware!...the chain is stainless steel, as advertised..probably...but the fob ain't.
I was looking for a non-brass nitro fob and ass-u-me-d that both the chain and the fob were ss. Negatory on that good buddy...only the chain. I missed that little remark on the page.
Now, if you are like me and are serious about wearing a smart sized, nitro fob necklace at all times, you know base unpolished brass fobs lose the shiny coating anon reducing the GQ beach look by a factor of 10.
Pros:
Anywho, as far as size, it could be a quarter/three eights inch smaller in length and still do the job but I'm not really complaining, just sayin'. Better a tad too big, nez pas?
The diameter is slim but will handle .25 round or oblong tabs no problemo without them jamming up.
The seal looks worthy enough and I do like the top placement, it's at the end of the fob vice the top and is scored so it is easy to grasp and turn, even with wet hands. Yeah, I tested it.
One last, you can infer (imply?) from the price that it's made in China and you would be correct. Again, just sayin' for those of you like me who pay attention to where stuff you buy is made.
One last II, I'll cut the chain and use the fob until I can't stand looking at it in the mirror then search once more for the ever elusive Fob of Forever Beauty.
That is all.I purchased the NITRO PILL CASE NECKLACE by HEALTH ENTERPRISES, INC. for $2.78 + shipping. It is a well made item with a screw-in "O" ring sealed stopper. A nice chrome plated finish makes it pleasing to the eye. It holds about 8-10 Nitro pills.
I do wish the necklace part was a little longer (it's 24" as received), I would be more comfortable if it were to be around 30". The reason for this is that if I want to take a nitro, I end up dumping all the pills either into my hand or spilling/losing them due to not being able to hold the carrier out where I can control it properly in the event of having a heart attack.

Top Lid (Outer Diameter x Length) = (0.360" x 0.515")
Total Length of Case with Top Lid = 1.770"
Note: Exact dimensions will vary slightly from case to case.I bought this for pain meds instead of Nitro. I have auto immune arthritis and need to keep them handy when I am out of the house. This fits the ticket! I wish the chain (which is very nice!) was a bit longer, but I can add to it. The case is nicely made and seals tight. Holds about 6 pills, which is plenty for me. Cannot beat this for the price! If this were in a drug store it would be 3x the price and still be worth it!I had a problem with the shipping but that was USPS and has nothing to do with the quality of the case or the supplier. It is solid and even the ring between the case and chain was stainless steel which surprised me. Previous cases I have bought came apart and the top was all I had left because the ring was attached to the top. This type case doesn't separate.

As an added bonus -not listed in the product description -a pair of powder-free nitrile exam gloves (latex free) and an alcohol cleaning wipe are included in the case. I was looking for a mask kit that included the gloves, so these were a pleasant surprise, making the product even more convenient where gloves aren't normally available (e.g., workplace, car, gym bag).
The mask is reusable, so long as it is properly cleaned (soapy water, followed by a soak in bleach solution according to the enclosed instructions). The filter valve must be replaced after use. Replacement filter valves (ADC part number 4053v) can be found by searching "ADC 4053v" on Amazon.
Product is marked as Made in Taiwan, Inspected in USA. I use this mask for my CPR classes. Nice, compact, and unlike other masks the valve can be attached to the mask while in the case so it is ready to go. No problems with the valve falling out when you open the case.

I agree with all the reviews posted to date. It's a great price, the valve is already affixed, et. cettera. Just one hang up...Pros: As above, comes in a nice hard case, the valve can be left installed (and of course is disposable only comes with one though) and has an O2 port on the mask as well.
Cons: Really only one, which is that it isn't a true non re-breather mask, with a valve on the exhaust side of the filter/valve. When a patient inhales, they wont be drawing 100% O2 if giving assisted bag ventilation, as some ambient air will be drawn back through the exhaust side.
Overall: Obviously, the con isn't a major issue for the casual user who is not going to be giving bag or O2 ventilation, but for the EMT or Professional Rescuers out there, be aware.

After owning a laredal (spelling?) pocket mask and comparing the quality, I'm very impressed with this mask, its not quite as nice as the laredal but its about 13 bucks cheaper and I love it for my personal trauma kit, like the orange too, I also like the fact that its quick deploy, I dont have to connect the valve, just pop it open.
