BUT this seller is unbelievable, I order these knee stabilizers (I order two) and what I received was two COMPLETE DIFFERENT KNEE STABILIZERS. I was really surprised by the negative reviews. I have been using supplements for many years now and the renew first cleanse and cleanse smart have been part of that discipline.I am a wife and mom, therapist, fitness instructor and overall health food enthusiast. I have done extensive research on many different antioxidants, herbs, minerals and whole foods with healing properties. I do believe these renew life products are beneficial to the body and facilitate holistic cleansing. (I can only comment on the first cleanse and cleanse smart formulas because these are the only ones I use, but I have been using them literally for years with good results)
I really think the key here is understanding what cleansing is all about. These formulas are not about traditional colon flushing. In fact, the evening formula, focused on the colon specifically, does not use any of the more typical yet more harsh laxative herbs that most colon cleansers use-like psyllium husk, cascara sagrata, senna, etc.-which are good if you are really constipated, but many people find too strong unless in small doses. It does use magnesium hydroxide (think milk of magnesia) which is a naturally occurring mineral, an antacid which also increases water in the intestines. It is an important mineral for the body, especially the muscles and nerves. It CAN have a laxative effect-causing diarrhea in some people--which in turn causes cramping due to loss of potassium. If you add potassium (eat a banana or two perhaps) the cramping subsides-and taking one pill every other day until your system finds the right dosage should eliminate the diarrhea.
The dosage in the cleanse smart (2 capsules) is less than half of the other ingredients and also a little over half the DV for magnesium for a day. It is a relatively small amount--nonetheless, you CAN overdose on it in very large quantities, and you dont want to take anything without knowing your body and specific medical needs. I would say to talk to a medical doctor, but most of them simply dismiss herbal supplements without understanding them and prefer processed pharmaceuticals, which, in many people's opinions, clogs your body further! But this, of course, is a personal choice and responsibility.
Cleanse Smart and first cleanse has added aloe, one of the greatest lubricants in nature, and ginger, which is a powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial root to this nighttime colon formula. But even better, it has Triphala, which is an Ayurvedic blend of three (dried) fruits, one to correlate to each dosha and therefore balance the body and encourage homeostasis. It is said to support the entire digestive and gastro intestinal function while strengthening nutritional assimilation.
That is really what cleansing is about on a greater level than just treating constipation. It is about cleansing and nourishing all of the body systems that have been damaged and are malfunctioning due to years of toxic build up. A lot of this is focused in the colon because a blocked colon does not allow for assimilation of nutrients -this means that if you arent already sort of cleaned out, even the herbs in the cleanse smart formulas will not be as effective.
When I first started out, I used the first cleanse and started making changes to my diet slowly. I waited a week or so and then repeated the first cleanse. Now I use the cleanse smart on a need basis-when Ive eaten too much or unhealthy food too frequently-or when I notice I havent had a bowel movement that day. Some days I only take one am pill and one pm pill and Im good.
I especially like the am formula because it has a really great blend of herbs for the other important organs and body systems-dandelion root is a blood cleanser, milk thistle for the liver, hawthorn berry for the heart, etc. If you just google all of the herbs in the formulas, you will see why I think the products are so great.
If you have not had a good experience with these products, I would say try again with a different understanding of what cleansing is-a long-term process of eliminating toxic build up and reestablishing homeostasis or equilibrium in the body so that all systems are functioning synergistically. I have tried many products and these are really some of the best for that purpose. But it has to be part of a whole life-style change-choosing healthier, organic foods more often while reducing chemicals, processed foods, simple white sugars and flours, etc, drinking lots and lots of water, adding antioxidants to prevent further build-up, exercising and relaxing the body-getting enough sleep, laughter, spiritual nourishment and practice. Cleansing is more than just about taking a few pills and expecting a miracle.
The purpose of this product is to prepare the body for the more potent, 30-day Cleanse Smart program (which I just started). So if your expectation is to gain the benefits of this program using the two-week First Cleanse product, then surely you will be disappointed.
If the directions are read (and I'm not sure that some of the readers have done so), one would see that for added bowel cleansing, a product called Cleanse Smart (of which a sample was included) should be used to relieve constipation and for added stimulation. In addition, FiberSmart (a soluable/insoluable flax product) should be used to absorb toxins released from the cleanse as well as to provide the mass needed for effective intestinal elimination.
Those who have written saying "they did get the expected results" are probably correct because they didn't read the directions and didn't use the supplementary products recommended. Those who wrote that "they achieved mild results", should realize that is expected since this is a preparatory product for a stronger program; they should now move on to the Cleanse Smart program.
Everyone's body chemistry and balance is different and if the product makes you feel peculiar or dizzy, then it should be stopped (again as directed).

I bought this for my boyfriend and myself to try a cleanse. I was pretty strict about drinking lots of water and eating non processed, healthy foods, and no alcohol for the 2 weeks. I thought it did a good job for a first time cleanse. I felt better after it was over and had lost about 2 lbs (I'm about 115-120 normally). I consider this pretty effective but other people might have their own thoughts on that. My boyfriend felt like it didn't do much for him, but then again he didn't change his diet or eating habits for it. I'm pretty hard on my crutches. Though I'm not as active as I used to be, I weigh more than ever and I still take the last two stair-steps with a measure of abandon. And over the years it's been Guardian crutches that got me where I needed to go.I don't know of a more durable adjustable crutch.
I've always had trouble with OTHER crutches that oval-out; the peg that holds the metal tubes at the correct length eventually begins to dig into the tubing, and soon the crutches are making that clicking sound that haunts every step. This is great for babies with sensitive skin or suffering from eczema. I think it comes from the sweat during the warmer months. None of the other baby lotions or creams work as well as the Calendula has for us. The itching would make my daughter scream for hours on end. It was really disheartening. No matter what we tried we couldn't get her any relief unless she soaked in a bath, and we could only do that for so long. The calendula helps eliminate itch and inflammation which seems to have worked well. I have eczema on face / very sensitive skin. Immediately after applying the product my face burns for a good minute and then it stops. Both our children have eczema, and have since they hit about the 15 month mark. They have it during the summer months and the winter months. They get it from sweat when they're wearing formaldehyde-drenched Chinese-made clothing and when they're wearing Oeko-Tex certified organic clothing from Peru. They might be allergic to foods (the possible allergen list is a mile long, and it's not like the doctors could possibly test for everything; elimination diets have been futile). They're certainly allergic to that big hickory tree over their play equipment. Cats, dogs, mold, dust, you name it.So, when all else fails, and you can't weed out the source, you want something to make the symptoms go away. In the case of eczema, you can either suppress the immune reaction (topical steroids) or combat the resulting itch and moisturize and heal the inflamed, damaged skin. California Baby Calendula Cream performs the tricky combination of controlling the itch long enough to heal the skin. It works reasonably well the majority of the time.
Calendula (or pot marigold) extract has been proven to have anti-inflammatory properties, among others, in plant pharmacological studies and has been used topically to reduce inflammation and soothe irritated tissue for centuries. Of course if your child is allergic to plants in the marigold family, calendula would (obviously) have the opposite effect.
I wouldn't be surprised if this has chamomile in it as well, though the label doesn't disclose the contents of the 'proprietary oil blend'. It does have a pleasant tea-like smell to it, and chamomile has been noted to have similar soothing effects.
The rest of the ingredients are dedicated to moisturizing the skin. Because of the density of this cream, it stays on the skin, and because the first ingredient is purified water, it is quickly absorbed. It leaves skin feeling incredibly smooth, but not at all greasy.
The big drawback here is that if your child has severe eczema, you might have to apply this 3 or 4 times a day to the most affected areas. Our children do have severe eczema, and this can keep it at bay if I remember to apply it frequently. Of course I don't always remember. Then there's the cost of applying this cream multiple times per day to two children. We go through one jar per week easily.
So, why not use another moisturizer? Well, in our case, almost all moisturizers we've tried (Aveeno, Nature's Gate, Cetaphil, Eucerin, and others I can't recall now) actually irritate the kids' skin even more, whereas this and the Sensitive Skin California Baby lotion do not. Vaseline works as a barrier cream, but it ruins clothing (mine and theirs) and isn't easily absorbed by the skin.
So, we keep trying other things occasionally, and keep coming back to California Baby. While it is not a miracle cream, it is a heck of a lot better than the other stuff that's out there. (It should be at that price.) It works pretty well most times, sometimes clearing their eczema entirely for brief periods. Another reason to like it is that it rates fairly low on hazardous ingredients according to the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep Database. All the other mainstream lotions we've tried were considered to be moderately hazardous, and when you read a bit more into this stuff, they just don't seem like good things to be applying to a baby or young child's skin. Most common lotions have ingredients that are actually considered to be irritants, which may explain the children's reaction to other moisturizers.
If your child has eczema, and you're at your wit's end trying to find something, anything that will improve their quality of life, it can't possibly hurt to give this stuff a shot. Pricey as it is, there are so many days I'd give anything just to not have to watch my children irritably tearing at their own skin. This calendula cream has definitely been a source of relief for them and thus, for our whole family.

I am able to do more in the gym confortably while wearing it than without it. I tighten it just before I use my left arm and loosen it afterwards to allow better blood flow. I have been using it for several months. If it leaves a mark for more than a few minutes then you are tightening it too much. I am in no way a body builder and I found this product to be very helpful.

I received the delivery in perfect and stated timelines my concern is that this is a Cosmetic / Health product and yet the bottles were not "NON-TAMPER" sealed. This should be a consideration for the supplier. Other than this I am totally happy with the quality and product.I have ordered flax seed oil before that was mailed with ice packs and insulation to keep it from getting warm on its journey. Unfortunately, this order arrived without any ice packs or insulation and the bottle was warm to the touch when it arrived, which must have a negative effect on the quality of the oil.
