Toss those nasty rolls of first aid tape, this stuff is awesome. I originally had this applied at the hospital to a incision line on my knee. I was impressed with how it conformed and flexed with my joint, did not ITCH, and stayed-put. The tape is "fabric like" and allows the wound to breathe. Moreover, it can be cut to fit easily. Just place a gauze pad over the affected area, cut the tape, peel off the backing and stick it over the wound area.

It is somewhat pricey, but having had such awful experiences with conventional first aid tape, I feel it's worth it, especially for larger wounds, particularly if they are located in an area that is going to move.

I purchased this product after using ben wa balls which were pretty light weight, but much smaller than these. I was disappointed that I could already hold the smallest cone with all of the weight with very little effort. The product information makes it sound like this is impossible and means you aren't using them properly. I checked and rechecked, pulling it to sit as low as possible. As others have already stated, this is pretty loud.

I feel it's best feature is that it doesn't have a "pea" in it. That would prevent this whistle from being mistaken as a police whistle or a child playing with a whistle. I consider those important considerations if I'm stuck somewhere and trying to summon help.

The next best feature is the small size. This would fit just about anywhere you could place a book of matches. Being plastic, I wouldn't recommend placing this whistle on your key ring. Against the keys, getting smashed in your pocket or knocked around in a purse and I think it would likely break.
