This is used daily to tape down a feeding tube so it needs to be strong, have good sticking capability but not cause irritation to sensitive skin it does all of these. We have tried all sorts of different tapes and this is the only one that works well. I would highly recommend this if you need tape for long term use. It was used by the hospital and I haven't been able to find it in any store or pharmacy thank goodness for being able to order online!!!
I got a minor burn that needed bandaging, and found the Transpore product to be the best. It sticks, but not too much, and it is easy to tear, no scissors needed. I bought the box of 12, so I could put this into my first aid kits.

I use this tape daily for dressing changes, securing feeding tubes & central IV lines. I have found no other that can compare. Although it is not waterproof, it is still the best on the market for all day use. It does not leave sticky residue, etc. I have very sensitive skin and have tried at least 20 others on the market including things like HY tape and micropore, etc. The white surgical transpore is not the same as plastic transpore. I rips just as easily with bi-directional tear but it sticks much better without irritating the skin. I would highly recommend if you haven't already tried this.
