Our last cordless lamp was too filmsy and only lasted a few years. In addition it used 6 AA batteries that I frequently had to change. This one is big and sturdy, I highly recommend it for places that need a reading light, but there is not a conventient outlet. The light covers the entire book and is very movable to where you need it to light!

I haven't read many good reviews on cordless lamps, but I really like mine. It puts light where you need it. The light does not fan out, it projects onto the book or sewing material where needed. It is bright enough and the batteries last.

I love this lamp. We use it next to a recliner that is in an open area in our living room. We knew in advance that the lamp would not create a spacious amount of light, but it suits our need--the perfect reading lamp. Great buy for a happy customer!

Wish I had never bought this lamp!! The realistic lamp height is a lot shy of 60". The circle of light is only about 6" and fades VERY quickly after turning the lamp on! By 10-15 minutes of usage you can barely see ANY light coming from the LED bulbs and certainly cannot read with it. Unless you want to use it for close-in lighting and only a short time don't buy this lamp. Otherwise: Color is fine, design is okay and lamp is very easy to assemble.

I was very happy to finally find a cordless lamp for an area where I could not use a cord. However, I have been quite disappointed with this product. The light it provides is very weak and covers a very small part of the reading material. I have to keep twisting my body to have it shine where I want.
