Grafco Latex Tubing

At the time of my purchase (and the time of this review), the product description failed to mention that this tubing is non-continuous. It may be a 50' spool of latex tubing, but it comes in multiple segments joined by red tape ("remove red tape before using").

It seems disingenuous not to advise the prospective buyer of this limitation when advertising it as a 50' spool. Reductio ad absurdum: imagine if this spool came with 2400 quarter inch segments. In such a case the product would be nearly useless for any practical purpose. Would it still be legitimate to call it a 50' spool in such a case?

I ordered 50 ft of surgical tubing on a spool. No mention was made that it was not a continuous piece, but it was three pieces totaling 50 feet.

It is interesting that there are over 6 duplicate sizes with different prices. If you look carefully you can get the same size for almost $10.00 cheaper if you look for the duplicate. Out of the 26 sizes listed I counted 9 duplicates leaving you with 17 different sizes to choose from. At least 4 have crazy dimensions.

Example: ¼" I.D., 1/8" O.D., ½" WALL. The ID is 1/4" and the OD is 1/8" and the wall is 1/2" which tells me the wall is 3/8" larger than the 1/8" Outside Diameter. Hard to picture. It should be 1/4"ID x 1/2"OD X 1/8" wall.

This is not a negative review but more to help customers get a better price. Shop carefully and smart and you will save. A final note: Some colors might be nice to see.

My only complaint is I wish it came in smaller lengths. We used this to set up a large slingshot and the elasticity of the tubing is fantastic!
