My husband is diabetic and wanted a way to store used pen tips while traveling. This is perfect and will hold all disposed pen tips for our two and one half week vacation. Lid snaps open and shut for easy use.

used one of these at a hotel that I was staying at (that they provided) and wasn't thinking and left it there, so here comes another trip and I don't have a sharps container small enough to travel with, so I went to my favorite shopping web site Amazon, and there it was, perfect size for a week or 2 away.

The Sharps Container by North American Rescue is an excellent method to prevent accidental needle sticks by containing the needle in a secure container. It has a locking tab that securely closes which keeps the needle/syringe contained. If you don't have much exposure to needles this is a perfect size container. If you run into needles often you will need a larger container. This size is good for public facilities that may encounter a random diabetic needle or needle from a random drug user. If you have to touch the needle use gloves to prevent possible contamination of a Bloodborne pathogen such as hepatitis or HIV/AID. I recommend using Gloves: Ten Pairs Black Talon Nitrile Gloves LARGE.
