Recently I had outpatient surgery and was using an adhesive based tape to fasten the dressing in place. After five days, I developed a rash on my neck. I purchased this product as a substitute and was pleased with the results. My rash dissipated and this tape managed to do a good job in terms of keeping my dressings in place without irritation. It was easier to remove than an adhesive based tape and didn't leave the equally annoying adhesive residue on my skin.The only difficulty I had with this tape was getting it to adhere. I found if I put a little pressure on the tape that touched my skin it stayed in place and worked well until I removed it.
