This salve has a nice herbal scent and seems to work as a first aid salve. Today, I went to use my salve and discovered that my small plastic container that I was using to store my salve was covered with small ants. I am not sure what ingredient the ants were attracted to, however they were all over this stuff. Just beware to store it in an area that critters can't get to it. I also noticed that the salve will melt at temperatures above 80 degrees. Even at room temperature it seems rather soft.
