New Skin does a great job of sealing wounds, but it definitely does sting. The pain usually doesn't last long, and is manageable for most adults, but it could definitely be an issue for children, who may become afraid of using the product. Nexcare Liquid Bandage spray, does not seal as well as New Skin, but it is completely painless, and doesn't sting at all. In the case of a large scrape, applying by spray, could be much less painful than brushing on.
Another matter is hygiene, as some may have issues with using a product that is brushed on the open wounds of various users. While the New Skin solution is an antiseptic, it is still possible for solid particles to be transmitted via the applicator brush. This kind of potential contamination is virtually eliminated in the case of a spray.
Convenient, painless, and easy to use, Nexcare's 0.61 ounce bottle is supposedly adequate for 60 applications.

The product description reads "No-sting formula.Waterproof.Ideal for larger scrapes and abrasions."I disagree with all three of those claims. This spray on bandage stings a fair amount, takes forever to dry (and then washes off in your first shower), thereby making it far from ideal for large scrapes & abrasions. My biggest problem with this product is that it remains sticky even after it has dried. I recommend you skip this spray on shortcut and stick with the brush on NewSkin. It works *so* much better.

Have you ever had a dog with a wound on their foot, and you tried to bandage it normally...minutes are usually all it takes to get the bandage off. Not with Liquid Bandage, it goes on easily and doesn't come off and protects the wound...great stuff.Want Nexcare No Sting Liquid Bandage Spray -- 0.61 fl oz Discount?
I have two incredibly active little girls who are constantly getting scrapes during the summer. Regular liquid skin stings horribly and is not very good for bigger areas. This spray is fantastic for covering scraped knees or elbows, and it truly doesn't sting! My daughter calls it the magic spray, because it takes boo boos away. :)The bottles aren't very big, but that's a pretty nice thing for tucking into your purse or diaper bag.
