Works as advertised. Very sturdy vertically mounted on smooth plastic shower wall. Very satisfied and will buy more for the other walls. Much cheaper than installing permanent handicapped railings and work just as well for my purposes. Please note: I have been on crutches for nine months, weigh 190#, and am using this for balance support, not for full weight transfer or support.

Really holds secure. I am an elderly person and it helps me in the shower. It was easy to install.

I chose this rating because it was the most secure product I've ever purchased to prevent injuries in the shower. Should have done it long ago, but still not too late. Purchased another to place in shower. It's so secure! Just follows directions and lock down the suction cups. It does not slip, or move when holding my weight. You would think it was glued or screwed to the wall because of its solid mounting. I am 65yrs of age with arthritis in lower back and knees. This handicap causes me to be unbalance in standing and walking unless I have my cane. And now I have my Safety Grip Cane in my shower.
