If you have a kid with asthma or breathing impairing allergies, you need to investigate this. Approved for emergency use without a prescription, it can obviously be a lifesaver. Training courses available through American Red Cross. Ask your doctor about it. Seconds count, minutes are deadly.
I bought one for my camp and potential family need. Very easy to operate, seems fool-proof as it stays connected and ready in the bag. I have trained with several different set ups, this easiest by far just turn the knob and away you go. Feels like a quality item.
Ask your doctor about emergency oxygen it can make all the difference.
