If you want to keep a bandage on a wound for several days, I don't know of anything better than Fabric Tough-Strips. They adhere well, stay on, even when wet, and can be easily removed when the time comes. You may read reviews complaining that these are hard to get off. If you just try to yank them off, that's true; they're intended to stay on your skin for an extended period while your wound heals, and they do that well. The adhesive sticks for several days, which gives your wound time to heal. If you need to remove the bandage before the adhesive stops sticking, simply apply baby oil to the fabric and let it soak in. This will begin to release the adhesive, and you can slowly peel the bandage off. These bandages will even stick well on parts of the body that sweat a lot, or are oily, if you clean the area before applying the bandage. They're an excellent product.
One additional note: I do not recommend waterproof Tough-Strips. Unlike the fabric version, the waterproof ones cannot be easily removed with baby oil, since the plastic material does not allow the oil to get to the adhesive. I also find my wounds heal better with the fabric bandages than the plastic ones, since the fabric allows the wound to breathe better. I had to buy these to use on my feet and sometimes I have gotten in the shower and then back out and they didn't budge. I of course took it off and replaced it, but water doesn't affect it at all.
