100 ct Infant Face Barrier Lung Bags for CPR Prompt - LBAR-0865

100 ct Infant Face Barrier Lung Bags for CPR Prompt - LBAR-0865Like it because I like the manikins hopefully they never stop making the refills good price. Glad they include the insertion tool because they are too flimsy and can break easily. wish they made the out of mental

When I first purchased this product a few years ago, I was thrilled. It cost half of what the name brand did and seemed to be comparable in quality. The last few orders I have received have been really inferior. The glue which holds the mouthpiece in place is practically nonexistent and the plastic used for the unit is so flimsy and thin that it tends to tear during use. What a disappointment!!!!

I use these lungs for my CPR manikins, and they are the originals for this manikin. There are some knock-off's out there. The brand-name ones are much better. Also, this vendor has some of the best prices in town, and very good customer service.

Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages, SpongeBob SquarePants, Assorted, 20 Count

Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages, SpongeBob SquarePants, Assorted, 20 CountWell, we chose these band-aids because our daughter loves Spongebob. They are pretty decent but not the best. Some don't stay on that long and others stay on even after taking a bath.

One happy customer in Honolulu, Hawaii! I bought these for my son's class to include in a goody bag. It was a great value since I needed so many.

Dynarex 12 Triangular Bandage 40x40x56, 12 Count

Dynarex 12 Triangular Bandage 40x40x56, 12 CountThis product is an EXCELLENT value. You get 12 (yes TWELVE) full sized triangular bandages, for price of two traditional triangular bandages. They are individually packed in little zip seal bags with 2 safety pins per bandage.

BUT, know these are rather flimsy and of an open weave that is NOT near the quality and durability of a std. triang. bandage.

This is NOT a good product for extend wear as a arm sling!!! It will not hold up to much wear and open weave would have it getting snagged on just about everything.

That said, these are quite satisfactory for both immediate, short term critical care and for training purposes. In the training role, they can be easily washed, refolded and repacked in the individual bags quite easily.

As a retired Navy Corpsman I would not hesitate a bit to use these for holding sterile bandage (these are NOT sterile themselves) to head or torso where adhesive tape is not a good option especially if some pressure for control of bleeding is concerned. They also work well for immobilizing separated / sprained elbow or shoulder and sprained / broken ankle. They are also very satisfactory for SHORT term use as arm sling if treatment in medical facility is going to be available in a few hours. I have tested them also on immobilizing lower leg and arm fractures by using opposite limb as the splint and they are actually preferably to adhesive sports tape for this purpose if two are used as much easier to adjust degree of "tightness".

Overall an excellent product if you realize they are a "light-weight" product and are not very durable, but PERFECT for emergency use as can get 6 times as many for the price.

There's not much you can say about a triangle bandage. Either it's a bandage or it's not.

These bandages are individually wrapped in little ziploc bags and include safety pins for... well, pinning them. The bandage fabric itself is a little thinner than other brands I have seen, but it's also thicker than some others I've seen. As for doubling as a sling, yeah, in a pinch it will work but it wouldn't be my first choice as a sling.

For it's current price of .61 cents apiece you'd be a bit daft to complain.

It's a bandage, it bandages things, can also be used to tie and bind things. Your imagination is your limit with these.

Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!

Your first aid class will show you the triangular bandage is the 'duct tape' of the first aid world. You can do a LOT with them and they will substitute for many other items. For example, you can refold it and wrap it around a wound holding a dressing. It is, of course, a natural arm sling, but can be used to tie limbs into splints, or any number of other tasks. These come with safety pins enclosed in each one, nice touch.

These are nifty bandages.

If any of you have had any Scout or wilderness first aid training, these are the bandages typically used for all those specialized bandaging jobs (e.g., ankle bandage, arm sling, collar bone immobilizer, head bandage). So, for Scouts, having a box of these handy makes lessons and demonstrations much easier than using neckerchiefs (which used to be much larger, but are now too small for most of the bandages). As a father with six sons, these have been invaluable for wrapping up and slinging sprained (and even broken) wrists and arms, and they work well for keeping ice packs in place, too.

Each bandage comes in its own zipper-seal bag, with a safety pin. I typically tie off my bandages with a square knot, but safety pins can always come in handy.

I added one of these to my personal first aid kit, and keep another one in a small survival kit. The cloth works well for starting fires if nothing else.

My wife got a box of these for my birthday last year. She knows how much I love the outdoors, and how much I love having the right gear. [I guess she might also be remembering how I broke my leg during a wilderness trip in 2006, and how I commented (when I got home) that we didn't have any triangular bandages in the first aid kit.]

Want Dynarex 12 Triangular Bandage 40x40x56, 12 Count Discount?

Simple packaged triangular bandages with safety pin. Good to carry with your outdoors first aid kit as these work great for making a sling on the spot. Just hold it up and tie a knot at the 90 degree point and wrap around the arm and tie in the back. 12 is a bit more than most people will need but I just split them up into all my kits ( car, home, etc )

Johnson & Johnson Red Cross Non-Stick Pads, 3 Inch x 4 Inch, 10 Count

Johnson & Johnson Red Cross Non-Stick Pads, 3 Inch x 4 Inch, 10 CountMy grandma has a terible fungating brest cancer wound, one with no chance of healing and this is the only product that we use. I buy them by the hundreds and send them to her. I just wish that they would come in bigger sizes, we stick a few together using medical paper tape to cover the wound surface. Removig them takes a lot of patience because this kind of wound has a lot of fluid and the cancer destroyed the skin, but it can be done and since we use this product we don't have the bleeding problems we had before. Because of the nature of the wound, we need to add absorbant material over the J&J pads, but a little water helps in removing it easier. I would say that without this non-stick pads we would have lost grandma maybe half a year ago. We tried other brands too, but nothing worked better than this.

These gauze are really super. They do not stick to the wound and allow it to heal properly. They are the right size for most common wounds. A great value.

This is a good product. It works--doesn't stick to wounds. The Kendall Telfa Non-Adherent Dressing, 3" x 4", 100/BX are less expensive but they are thinner. Thinner is fine unless there is a lot of bleeding or oozing in which case you need to use a backup dressing. If thickness is a big issue, you might want to go to a local store and get a small package of each and compare. I will be using the Kendall ones because they are less expensive.

But this is an excellent product.

Medline Cotton Woven Gauze Sponges

Medline Industries NON21424 Sterile Gauze Sponges, Cotton Woven, 4 in.x4 in., 12 Ply, 2/Pack, 25 Packs/BoxThe doctor treating a family member use Medline Industries Gauze Sponges and the ones I purchased were the exact same.

Product package says "Sterile in Unopened, Undamaged Package" -so what do they do: It's shipped with the package top cut-off for some reason, which raises question as to whether the product is sterile (and whether it is even new).

We ordered these to pack a surgical wound after going home from the hospital. They worked fine, were well packaged (individually) and server our purpose. Much cheaper than buying in a local pharmacy too.

MASK SURGICAL FACE - CONE Size: 50

MASK SURGICAL FACE - CONE Size: 50These face masks work pretty well, but since they are much more stiff compared to the cloth (surgical) masks, they don't seem to fit as well more gaps around the edges. I use masks to keep from inhaling pollen and dust when I'm cutting my lawn on a dry day.

My wife is a teacher, and she uses these to simulate gas masks when the students do a WWI "trench warfare" exercise in the classroom. The masks work great for that. Thd kids color them green.

Prestige Medical Fluoride Scissor

Prestige Medical Fluoride Scissor, Black, 7 1/2 InchI am an Emergency Medicine resident about to start my final year. Needless to say, I've been through my fair share of trauma shears. I've had the lowly drug rep shears to the run of the mill medical supply store shears, to the titanium shears my residency provided, and finally got these.

I can say without a doubt, these things are the best. They will cut through anything you'll ever need in a trauma. Any piece of clothing is destroyed by these babies. It will cut through jeans, double layers of clothes, and even belts (sorry whoever's belt I destroyed). I've been using them for about a year now without any noticeable drop in performance. I've let people borrow them and each is amazed at how great they are. I just made sure that they gave them back!

They look nice too. All black. A real eye catcher. Throw this in with your all black Littmann stethoscope, and you'll be styling in the trauma hall. People may gripe that they are $13. That is a little pricey for trauma shears. But I feel they are well worth it. You won't be buying a new set any time soon.

If you are on Amazon trying to find a new set of trauma shears to replace those that fell apart or were lost, click on the "Add to Cart" button right now. You won't regret it.

pretty bad ass. i am a trauma doc and these things cut everything i have needed w ease. don't waste money on those shears. they suck and you can't even get through a t-shirt. these things rock through jeans, belts, anything i need without a problem. and the fluoride coating actually works, tape doesn't stick to them very well. good stuff

Buy Prestige Medical Fluoride Scissor Now

I like the black and they look nice. I am a Registered Nurse and I work in a Trauma center and these scissors do not last very long. After cutting off a dozen or so pairs of jeans off of patient's they get dull and there is no way to keep them sharp. Not able to sharpen them makes it a drag because you have to just buy more. Just wish they would last a little longer.

I had an old role of transparent tape from work hooked on my hemostat; it probably has a lot of MRSA/VRE on it by now, so I gave the scissors a try and, as the video shows it can cut through about a 1/4" of tape. It wasn't too hard; I know my meat scissor would not do that. My first video was of the first cut through the role, but it was too shaky so I propped my phone up this time, hope it turned out ok. I'm satisfied with them, but would not pay full price.

I am a Paramedic working on an ALS ambulance. I respond to approximately 1,200 911 calls annually. These shears feel a bit cheap and certainly did not last any longer or cut any better than any other knockoff or cheap brand I have used in the past 7 years of working in EMS. Those include the ones that were provided for free by a private ambulance service at the start of my career (read cheap!). You'd think from reading the other reviews that these shears were Paramedic's gifts to Paramedics. Yes, they cut...yes, they look cool (even the EMT firefighters get all excited to see/borrow them..Oh Boy!). No, they do not last longer or do the job better than any of the other cheaper brands I've used over the years. Save yourself some dollars and buy a cheaper pair.

HOSPECO Necessities Courtesy Bags, Napkin Disposal Bags

HOSPECO Necessities Courtesy Bags, Napkin Disposal BagsThese bags can not only be used for sanitary products for women, but as any discreet disposal that you shouldn't flush. It is polite because you have given your guest a solution for possibly a unexpected need.

The only problem that I had with this order was the qty.

In the description, it stated that a case weighs 3 lbs and has 500 bags.

The product is not being sold as a case and I did understand that.

This item does not state the qty, but it does state that it weighs 2 lbs.

So, I was expecting more than 100 bags.

Other than the qty, I was pleased with the bags and they are exactly what we needed to put in the public restroom.

The product description did not include the number of disposal bags included. My mistake as the number of bags provided was considerably fewer than expected for the cost.

These bags were smaller than I thought they would be so not all pads will fit securely sealed. For the most part, they do the job and I am pleased.

I agree with other reviewers. The item description says there are 500. I ordered them, expecting 500, and also received 100. I wrote a review saying this, and the company contacted me promptly and offered a refund and took care of the problem. I was very pleased with their response.

Duracell Size 675 Zinc Air Hearing Aid Batteries (24 batteries)

Duracell Size 675 Zinc Air Hearing Aid BatteriesInitially only received 12 of 24 batteries ordered. They responded quickly and I received the other 12 batteries shortly after. Although the batterries will expire soon, ordered on Jan 27, 2013 and they expire March 2013. If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.

I had used Duracell batteries in my BTE hearing aid for many years, and used to be satisfied with them. Not anymore. The last 24 batteries were the worst yet. Most of them only lasted for one day, and I had to put in a new battery every morning. I switched to a different brand, and they last for six or seven days. I won't be using the Duracell batteries again, because they are much lower quality then they used to be.

Some batteries last as they are supposed to, others are short lived.

I use 3 batteries with each change and that usually lasts me 3 days.
