Grabber Outdoors Pop Up Field Hat and Headnet Thin/Lightweight With Storage Bag- Green Medium

Grabber Outdoors Pop Up Field Hat and Headnet Thin/Lightweight With Storage Bag- Green MediumI purchased this hat for my husband, who is an avid gardener. He tried several other hats that only provided minimal protection from insects. He tried other hats with detachable netting, but it always slips out of place while working and the pesky insects can easily get under the netting. This hat solves that problem with the netting sewn onto the rim (holding the netting in place)! The netting can be flipped up over the rim when it isn't needed. My husband and I highly recommend this hat!:)

The hat is amazing. You drop the bug net and you can keep hiking or fishing no matter how thick the black flies are. It folds up to a tiny size so its easy to store and carry with you. It does get a little hot because its synthetic but its ok because you can just take if off once in a while to cool down. Once you get used to wearing the net bugs are no longer a factor. Be careful if you see a dog. Lift the net or they get scared.

First, the good is that the hat does work to keep those incredibly annoying little flies out of my face and ears. However there are several aspects that could make this hat better.

1. The edge of the brim has a wire, which allows the hat to collapse or pop open like a car shade. This also prevents the brim from laying flat (think of the shape of a pringle).

2. The mesh is dark and somewhat hard to see through

3. The materials used have an intense odor of plastic or something chemical. Hopefully this will dissipate over time.

Overall, I'll take this product rather than the bugs, but at the same time, I would pay more for a hat that better suited my needs.

P.S. I wear a size 7 inch baseball hat and the medium in this hat fit fine.

I originally was just going to buy a head net until I discovered this hat. This is a hat and net in one and folds up so its real convenient to keep in a bag just in case you need it. It looks nice enough and works great, and the hat can keep the sun off your head as a bonus.

Perfect for keeping the insects from attacking the head, face, and neck -we live in a wooded area. Brim provides good space between face and netting. Easy to pull netting up and just wear hat. Folds easily for easy carrying.

Flents Flents First Aid Finger Cots

36 First Aid Finger Cots - Protection for Finger Tips From Cuts, Burns or BlistersI would have rated the Flents First Aid Finger Cots much, much lower but one star was the lowest that I could rate them. I bought these assorted finger cots from the local Walmart because this was the only brand available. I tried to put one on my finger to protect a cut and the cot would not even roll up as depicted in the picture on the box. The cot will not roll up no matter how you put it on your finger or how hard you try because after a few attempts, the cot tears. I went through several, different sizes, thinking my first one was defective but none would roll up my finger and they all ended up tearing. I had to toss the remaining cots in the trash because they're absolutely WORTHLESS! Please try another brand, this one is a waste of good money.

These work just fine. Yes they are thin and don't last long, but isn't that the purpose? They protect the finger tips and allow medication to stay in contact with the injury to help it heal. Well worth my investment!

Head Over Healing First Aid Box

Head Over Healing First Aid BoxI knew I wanted one as soon as I saw it. Yes, it's a tad pricey but it'll be a stunning new addition to your room. This product is just the tin alone, without any additional first aid items. Instead, just buy an actual first aid kit and fill this tin up with those items (I did and there were still plenty of rooms for miscellaneous items). The only one thing that bothers me is the lack of a clasp for the top lip. It just doesn't seem very practical in emergency situations where you don't want to worry about the items inside falling out due to an unsecure top. But as a decor item, it's wonderful.

Nexcare Coban Self-Adherent Wrap, 2-Inch x 5-Yard Roll, 1-Count Boxes (Pack of 6)

Nexcare Coban Self-Adherent Wrap, 2-Inch x 5-Yard Roll, 1-Count BoxesThis wrap was exactly what I needed after my foot surgery. The adhesive remained stuck together until I removed it.

Haven't used it yet as its for our bigger first aid kit. I have teenagers so its probably a matter of time before I do.

Product works as advertised, but I had a problem with it drying out and irritating my sensitive skin. Probably wouldn't be a problem for most guys.

Excellent product. Exactly what we use in the hospitals (I'm an RN). Product is used to add a minimal amount of pressure "forms" to the site (for example: if you're wrapping a foot injury), and is self adhesive.

EverReady Sterile Gauze Pads, 2x2, 12 Ply, 100/BX, White

EverReady Sterile Gauze Pads, 2x2, 12 Ply, 100/BX, WhiteThese gauze pads are extremely thin. I took a chance on them, even though some other reviews said they were bad, because they said '12 Ply'. I had been buying 12 Ply gauze pads at local stores such as Walmart and a grocery store....I was buying the least expensive ones, not the pricier name brand gauze pads. I figured these EverReady pads would be similar. WRONG. Even using two of these pads is awful, they wad up when wet so I can't use them with saline to wash my wound. And forget about using them to spread ointment, that doesn't work either. The best way for me to describe the thin quality is to have you think about a roll of gauze, cutting a strip from that and folding it in half. That's how flimsy and open-weave these so called 'pads' are.

Cheesecloth type (or maybe worse than the cheapest type of cheesecloth) quality.

It is not absorbent and instead very irritating to your cut with its loose thread.

Not what I had expected. Makes a decent filter for oil, coffee grounds and so much more! You have to layer them up to cover a wound.

I like using gauze to brush my dogs teeth. These are definitely on the thin side, but get the job done.

EMT First Responder Trauma Bag EMS, Ambulance, Medical Resuce Cab Bag - RED

EMT First Responder Trauma Bag EMS, Ambulance, Medical Resuce Cab Bag - REDThe material used for this product is far too thin. While it may serve your purpose I would recommend a first aid bag with better quality materials and padding.

This is a good bag for the price. Its slightly bigger then the Rothco EMT bag that shows up in the related items next to the bag. Its a thin bag but has a decent amount of room for basic first response and first aid work. However this bag is not big enough to hold a BVM (Bag Valve Mask). It also lacks a padded insert dividers that many other bags have. But for the price this is not a big deal since I made my own.

We use these as medical patrol bags for the local rescue organization I run.

In short if you don't need to carry a BVM or a HUGE load of trauma gear this will be a great bag for you. I would recommend this bag for First Aid use or if you need a second BLS bag or a smaller bag to supplement another bag.

PROS: Low cost, decent sized side compartments, nice top handle for carrying, decently large main compartment, Strong nylon material for day to day use.

CONS: Plastic clips on the strap feel a bit cheap, No padded divider insert.

This product i believe was built pretty good but the only problem ive had with it is that it is very floppy. But one of the things i like about this is that it has many compartments to put all your first aid items.

Want EMT First Responder Trauma Bag EMS, Ambulance, Medical Resuce Cab Bag - RED Discount?

Exactly what I wanted. Cheap, simple bag to make a first aid kit for our fleet of cars. Did not want to pay hundreds just for the bag itself. This thing has lots of pockets and is holding up well.

Only downside is that the flaps do not completely cover the main compartment, but that's OK. With a little velcro, may be able to rectify this issue.

MEDIpoint Splinter-out, 10-Count Plastic Case (Pack of 5)

MEDIpoint Splinter-out, 10-Count Plastic CaseWe had these in the first aid box at the office I used to work at. These work great for those splinters you have to dig out. I find that trying to use a needle to remove a submerged splinter is not effective and generally end up using a blade to cut enough skin away to reach the splinter. Same with tweezers if you have to dig it out, it can be difficult to try and pull the skin away. The Splinter Out is sharp enough to slice through skin, get the splinter exposed and then you can use the tip to remove the splinter.

It's just a sharp instrument that takes the place of a needle for removing splinters. Tweezers do a much better job.

Buy MEDIpoint Splinter-out, 10-Count Plastic Case (Pack of 5) Now

When I was young I dreaded getting a splinter and the three hours (probably only 2 minutes) my mother spent digging it out with the soot-blackened needle (sterilized using a match) from the medicine cabinet. These have a sturdy point and are very sharp making cutting a splinter out about as painless as it is going to get. Their small size makes them easy to toss in any first aid kit.

Special Pack of 5 ALKALOL 16 oz

Special Pack of 5 ALKALOL 16 ozHeard about this product from Dr.Zorba Paster on NPR (). I use it with a NeilMed irrigator, but only add about 1oz Alkalol plus 1/4 tsp of the homemade salt/bicarbonate mix to 8oz of warm water. I have always been prone to sinus infections and head colds. Over the past few years, using the salt/bicarb mixture on a daily basis has helped reduce them. Recently added the Alkalol and like the clean residual feeling a lot.

I have chronic sinusitis and I go through this stuff in bulk. This is some of the best pricing that I've found. The shipping is very slow, so you need to order well in advance. I use this stuff daily in my pulsating nasal irrigator (my waterpik with nasal attachment). Just add some warm water and dilute it at least 50% for nasal wash. This stuff is great though, adds some relief to sooth irritated sinuses

Buy Special Pack of 5 ALKALOL 16 oz Now

Alkalol has been a great discovery for me. I have chronic sinus congestion, and often resorted to mixing saline solution to sniff or use in a Neti Pot to get my sinuses to drain. However, safe use of saline solutions in the sinuses requires either using purified water or boiled water to mix with the saline. Otherwise, there is a risk of bacteria developing in the solution. And it is unsafe to keep the saline solution very long for the same reason. The Alkalol seems to pose less risk of bacterial growth. Using it straight from the bottle tends to be too strong, so I usually mix 2/3 previously boiled water with 1/3 Alkalol. Works quite well in opening up the sinuses. I keep the mixed solution in the refrigerator and just bring out a few ounces every few days and leave this in a smaller container in the bathroom. I suspect this adds safety by reducing risk of bacterial infiltration. I have found Alkalol to be a very useful product and would recommend it to others with similar sinus-congestion problems.

This product could put every other cold, flu, allergy product out of business!

My surgeon prescribed Alkalol for immediate use after sinus surgery. I've been using it ever since... some fifteen years... as needed. It provides immediate relief of sinus symptoms. And having used probably every allergy and cold product known to man, this one is my top choice. I have no worries about side effects or addiction. I can use it 2-3 times a day and then stop short without a rebound of the problem. I no longer call a doctor for antibiotics when I get a sinus infection. Just start using Alkalol for a couple of days. Clears it right up (and I don't get those nasty antibiotic side-effects!)

I'd never have heard of it if not for the surgeon and everyone I've recommended it to (which is everyone!) has never heard of it. This company and product should be a household word! It has the "better mousetrap." People need to hear about it! They definitely need to hype up their marketing tho I hope they don't jack their prices up to do so.

My only gripe is that I have always had to special order Alkalol at local pharmacy counters and had to wait a couple of days for it to arrive. So I ordered two bottles at a time which usually lasts my husband and I about a year. But seeing the price here on Amazon!? Hey, I pay $2-4 a bottle depending on the pharmacy and how much profit they decide to tack on. I may use Amazon to send Alkalol to suffering out of town friends but think I'll stick with local pharmacies for now better prices and no s/h costs.

Great to buy it in bulk.

I use this product daily because it has been great to keep sinus infections at bay. I add 3 teaspoons to my daily rinse (I use the "Sinu-Pulse machine I got from Amazon 24 oz reservoir!) and if I feel infection is building I do a intense shot of 1/3 Alkalol to 2/3 water. Usually knocks it right out. No more antibiotics!!!

Alcare Plus Foam Alcohol 9 oz.

Alcare Plus Foam Alcohol 9 oz.This is the best hand sanitizer around. It is what they use in the hospitals. Does not leave your hands sticky or slimy like other foam sanitizers do.

4.5" Beauty Toe Nail Cutter Trimmer Clipper Heavy Duty with Single center bow

4.5' Beauty Toe Nail Cutter Trimmer Clipper Heavy Duty with Single center bowThese are not for weak hands! They're not easy to control. The clippings fly everywhere, but they're sharp and my husband loves them so there ya go. He has the kind of nails that become ingrown and are tough to trim.

I have tough toe nails, and one time when I was having them clipped at the podiatrist, I asked him if I could do this at home if I bought a toe nail clipper like this one. He said sure, it would work fine, and this clipper really is like using a professional tool. I couldn't be more pleased!
