Disney Pixar Cars Lighting McQeen Boo Boo Buddy Reusable Cold Packmy grandchildren love this and there friends all want one too

very handy to have makes all boo boos al better quickly

It's plastic! I was thinking when I order it that it was like the cloth ones you find at Target. It works okay as an ice pack. It doesn't seem to me like it last as long as the ones I bought with cloth. Plus I use a towel between the skin with this one to prevent freezing the skin

The key to this kit is value for cost! This kit has all the basics that you would need at a very reasonable price. You can get one that has a lot more, but it will also cost you a lot more. You can get one and pay a lot less but it will also contain a lot less. For me this was the perfectly balanced kit for price and contents.

Nicorette Mini Lozenge - 4mg Mint - 81 Lozenges

Nicorette Mini Lozenge - 4mg Mint - 81 LozengesWe are finally smoke free! I was a pack a day smoker, my wife 1/2 a pack a day smoker. Two weeks ago we got these at the drug store with a $10 promotional coupon. For $30 we are now smoke free and it is CRAZY how easy it was! The lozenge releases a sudden burst in your mouth, and you feel the effects instantly. The sensation is similar to what you feel with a cigarette, and very satisfying. So much easier and effective than the gum, and NOTHING else has worked for us including the gum!

Reading the dosing guide is crucial to success! My wife now only uses 1-2 a day, and hardly has any cravings to speak of, I still use them regularly, but have noticed my cravings decreasing in intensity and frequency already!

Do this, it works, and the benefits are not only going to be physical, but mental and emotional! Once the monkey is off your back, what CAN'T you do?!

Good product and absorbent. I like. Kind of wish it was a little softer but then it might not work as well.

Aquaphor Healing Ointment

Aquaphor Healing OintmentFor as long as I can remember I've had very dry cracked lips. Sometimes it would be so bad that I would have pieces of dried skin hanging loose on my lip. I tried almost every product ever recommend to me including expensive Skinceuticals Anti-Oxidant lip repair and Khiel's Lip Balm to no avail. While some of these products seemed to help a bit, in the end nothing really came close to Aquaphor.

Aquaphor stays on the lips longer and seems to actually work to make my lips not as dry and definitely more smooth and soft. I only have to apply it a few times a day and my lips are fine. It has been a godsend for me. I don't consider it expensive because a little goes a long way and compared to the other products I tried, it's cheap.

I wish they made Aquaphor in a lip balm applicator size and with sunscreen. When I go outside, I have to use a separate sunscreen product on my lips (sometimes over the Aquaphor) in order to protect agains sun damage.

I'm glad I found this product and will certainly continue to use it and drink plenty of water as well.

Ever since our little Santiago was born, we've been using this ointment on him when he has a rash, and it works wonders. It is healing beyind belief. Granted that the price is not the best (you could argue that Vaseline costs less, which is true), the results you see on your baby's skin with Aquaphor make it worth the extra couple of bucks.

We've also used it on our skin, on burns or irritated skin and it does the same wonders. We're happy to have received a sample of it while we were at the hospital!

This product has been a lifesaver. I used to buy the smaller tubes that you get in backs of two just out of convenience but just bought my first "big girl" tube because I go through it so quickly. I put it on my healing acne and DEFINITELY my dry cracked lips. After one application the dry skin flakes off! It is very shiny but most people think it's a gloss anyway. If I really can't go out with all that shine I sparingly use Burt's Bee's Grapefruit Lip Balm. I don't think I'll ever buy the tub only because it grosses me out to keep sticking my hands in there. I wish they would come out with a balm and not the lip repair they have now! Even still, I'll never buy anything else.

My 2-month old baby had cradle cap around her ears, nose, eyebrows, forehead, and eyelids for days. Or at least it looked like cradle cap. It looked like very thick, flaky dry skin. It first appeared on her scalp. A day later, it was all around her ears, sides of her nose, eyebrows, forehead, and eyelids.

After some research on remedies, one mom on a message board recommended Aquaphor. We remembered getting a tiny little sample tube of Aquaphor from the hospital when our baby was born. So we tried it. The result is beyond amazing! The thick flaky dry skin around her ears, forehead, & nose, where we applied Aquaphor has cleared in just one day. We applied it once in the morning, then reapplied around noon, and reapplied it again at night after her bath and before putting her to bed. We will try to put a thin layer on her eyebrows & lids now that we know it works great! As for the scalp, we are trying a special shampoo for it.

Needless to say, we bought a larger tube of Aquaphor!

Alright, so I've had an infected nose piercing for awhile, I was even using stuff my boyfriend got recommended from his doctor, for piercings specifically, and it wasn't really cutting it. While at the hospital, my mom grabbed some Aquaphor and gave it to me. After about two days of actually applying the ointment, the infection started going down a very noticeable amount. Give or take a day or so and it'll probably be healed. I don't review products often, but this stuff rocks.

I ordered these for my mother who suffers from chronic eye infections. Our local pharmacy charges almost $8.00 for a single box. I was happy to find 3 boxes for not much more here on Amazon. I will continue to order her supplies from this source.

My 6 years old son has been using eye patches daily (at least 4 hours a day) over two years. We came to this one because of the price. It looks cheap but works Ok. It doesn't cause any skin problem but won't stick as well as Nexcare. I used to be able to buy Nexcare at less then $2 for a 20 count box, but now the price became almost X4! We will back to Nexcare if the price dropped back.

The patch works, although a little small for my big adult head. I have to remain expressionless or else I will feel the patch tugging at my skin as I try to smile. The patch could use some flexibility. Reminds me of why it was so hard to keep these things on as a kid :(

Prevail Super Absorbent Disposable Underpads 30" x 36", Peach color, Case of 100(4 bags of 25)

Prevail Super Absorbent Disposable Underpads 30' x 36', Peach color, Case of 100(4 bags of 25)I purchased these for my mother who was left incontinent after having a severe stroke three years ago. Since then I've tried various drugstore brands (from CVS, Rite-Aid and Walgreen) and I've tried different sizes in those brands (23 x 36 and 30 x 30), but these are the most absorbent and economical I've found. The local drugstores usually charge $19.99 for thirty of the 30 x 36 size or $.67 each. These are less than $.52 each.

I find the the 30 x 36 size work best for us. They cover the width of her hospital bed and are long enough that I don't have to overlay them. I also use a cloth under-pad under the disposable which doubles as a draw-sheet, but even when my mother has spilled a full drink on herself, the pad has yet to leak onto the cloth under-pad. Of course, it helps that I use really absorbent diapers at night--the Tranquility ATN diapers.Tranquility ATN All-Through-the-Night Disposable Briefs Tranquility ATN Briefs 2186 Large Pack of 12 TRA2183TRA2186_pk

Since my little Yorkie has aim issues with smaller pads, I found and use these.

They are great. Absorbent and large. She does the big stuff outside so I can get a couple of days

out of each pad. Works well for what it is used for.

OLAES 4" Modular Bandage

OLAES 4' Modular BandageIt's a trauma bandage for a gunshot wound. Thankfully, I haven't had to use it, so I can only rate it on the exterior appearance of the packaging and what I've read about the OLAES product on the internet.

This is the next best thing since sliced bread! For trauma wounds it's unserpassed! I am a former lpn of the U S ARMY and I have used this pice of kit in IRAQ! Get one and you will see why it's the best

An EMT friend of mine just turned me on to this item and I'm glad he did. I am used to using Israeli Bandages and this serves the same function however it has a couple interesting features. For one, it has removable gauze stashed inside the bandage so if you need to cover an entry and exit wound then you have the gauze for one side and the regular bandage part for the other! The little cup which serves to add pressure when you wrap a wound can also be used to protect an eye injury.

One issue I have with this item is that once you open the tan main packaging, the bandage is not in another smaller plastic bag like traditional Israeli bandages. This isn't a major issue but I would have prefered that it came in another smaller sterile plastic bag. All in all, I really like this product.

I like the olaes over the israeli, however the largest I've found is 6" bandage, this one being a 4". So for limb and smaller torso hemorrhaging, these are great, for large abdominal/torso wounds, there is an israeli 12". The plastic "thumb" presser, is actually for helping applying direct pressure, as well as continuing to apply pressure from the wrap stretched over ittaking place of what would have been several gauzes mashed on top of eachother to create extra pressure. An innovative invention that worked. I know. Astonishing.

Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson Non-Stick Pads 3'X4' Large

Johnson & Johnson Non-Stick Pads, Large, 3-Inch 10 padsI recently cut my finger in an accident and needed several stitches to close the wound. Whenever I'd re-wrap the wound, I always found it very painful and annoying when normal gauze pads (which were used to wrap the wound up) would always end up sticking to the sutures and exposed flesh.

In desperation, I tried this product out and it worked excellently. It did not stick to my sutures and wound at all and was very easy to remove whenever it needed to be changed. It was really absorbent yet still remained soft and cushioned my wound pretty well.

You can't go wrong with this one. One of the best products I've ever used.

Adventure Medical Kits Tactical Field/Trauma kit with QuikClot

Adventure Medical Kits Tactical Field/Trauma with QuikClotI have recommended Quikclot before. Here's what I said:

"This product stops bleeding cold. Right Now. Noteit is expensive and a little messy, so don't go using it for everyday cuts, those where the bleeding is easily controlled by pressure. But this could very well save a life, especially out in the field.

Get one of the large packs and keep it at home in your 1st Aid kit, and one of the smaller packs to carry in your beltpouch or daypack, along with a few Band-Aids and the usual stuff.

Most first aid kits do not contain this product as it is too expensive, so you'll have to add it yourself. What is handy with this product is that you can apply it to yourself in a pinch."

So, you'd think I'd rate a kit with Quikclot with *****. However, I can't quite. See, other than the Quikclot, this is just an ordinary handy little 1st aid kit.

From Adventure Medicals site, here's what's in this:

"Bandage Materials

4 Bandage, Adhesive, Fabric, 1" x 3"

3 Bandage, Adhesive, Fabric, Knuckle

2 Bandage, Butterfly Closure

1 Bandage, Elastic, Self Adhering, 2"

2 Dressing, Gauze, Sterile, 2" x 2", Pkg./2

2 Dressing, Gauze, Sterile, 4" x 4", Pkg./2

1 Dressing, Non-Adherent, Sterile, 3" x 4"

Bleeding

2 Gloves, Nitrile (Pair), Hand Wipe

1 QuikClot Sport 25g

2 Trauma Pad, 5" x 9"

Blister / Burn

11 Moleskin, Pre-Cut & Shaped

Instrument

3 Safety Pins

1 Splinter Picker/Tick Remover Forceps

Medical Information

1 Comp. Guide to Wilderness & Travel Medicine

Medication

1 After Bite Wipe

2 Antihistamine (Diphenhydramine 25 mg)

1 Aspirin (325 mg), Pkg./2

2 Ibuprofen (200 mg), Pkg./2

Wound Care

6 After Cuts & Scrapes Anethestic/Antiseptic Wipe

1 Dressing, Petrolatum, 3" x 3"

1 Tape, 1/2" x 10 Yards

2 Triple Antibiotic Ointment, Single Use"

A decent list, but other than the Quikclot, hardly unique.

So, it would be quite a bit cheaper to just take your already existing 1st Aid kit and just throw in the Quikclot, which runs $10-$15.

But, this is still a good kit, and fairly complete even though quite compact. If you don't already have a small kit, this is not a bad choice.

Perfect small emergency kit. I certainly won't rehash the comprehensive listing by the previous reviewer. The nice thing about these kits is there is room to add a few more items. I would add additional pain reliever (ibuprofen, etc.), anti-diarrhea meds and maybe more allergy meds as well as some superglue (yea it stings but closes lacerations nicely).

Buy Adventure Medical Kits Tactical Field/Trauma kit with QuikClot Now

This is a decent first aid kit. It is well stocked and comes with a fairly durable pouch.

The reason I am not giving it more stars is that the included QuickClot pad is tiny. The packaging states that it is 3.5 x 3.5 inches, but I took out a ruler and measured carefully-it's only 2.5 x 3 inches.

I purchased this kit to carry with me when sawing brush and bucking logs for firewood on a rural ranch. Despite the "Field Trauma" label, I do not think the included QuickClot pad is adequate for real field work where injuries are possible and medical help is far away.

I keep one of these kits in my range bag when I compete in action pistol matches. Just in case, it is best to have the gear handy to deal with an emergency. Good price for a handy kit.

Want Adventure Medical Kits Tactical Field/Trauma kit with QuikClot Discount?

Let me start off by qualifying myself: I am not a doctor, nurse or first responder and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I'm just an average guy who spends a lot of time camping, hiking and driving off-road in places where a professional medical response may be hours to more than a day away. So I've invested a lot of research, training and money in brushing-up my first aid skills and building various first aid kits. Enough of that.

This kit itself is really nothing special. You could go to your local Wally World and buy a first aid kit for $10 and then add a Quik Clot or Celox Gauze for $12-15 and be ahead in the end. Aside from that, what you're paying for here is the Quik-Clot, pouch and the book. This is also essentially a one-time-use kit, as there aren't enough of the less critical items to handle multiple people or incidents. Not a terrible deal, but not necessarily the best you can do for the money or your safety.

The bag itself is not waterproof and is too small to add things such as a EMT shears, compression dressing, extra gauze dressings and a CPR face shield, which would be useful for the intended purposes. If you do get this kit you are well advised to put the contents into a resealable food storage bag to keep things dry (and which also could be used to flush-out wounds by filling with purified water and clipping-off one corner to make a squeeze bag). The book may actually be very helpful if you don't have first aid training, but its knowledge that is needed before a crisis occurs and is best taught by qualified instructors or first responders.

If you just need one small kit to throw in a backpack or glove compartment, and don't want to go through the trouble of building your own or upgrading something else, then this is a good start. Otherwise you can always add a Quik-Clot or Celox to a more complete kit at minimal cost.

3M ,STERI-STRIP,#R1546, Skin Closure - 1/4 x 4 - 5 Envelope of 10 strips
