Polymem is perfect for those who might have sores relating diabetes, or for a loved one who is bed ridden. The dressing protects one from infection and in fact helps heals the sore. Little costly though but dont waste time buying something less expensive as it doesnt seem to work as good or as fast. The adhesive is a little tricking to put on, you definitely need help.
I used this product on my son's bedsore / pressure ulcer. After spending two years and hundreds of dollars on wound care etc. a Chinese acupuncturist recommended this to me. This is my "go to" for kitchen knife cuts and wounds. I cut my finger. I pour the powder on top. I go on with what I'm doing. I remember my mom slicing her hand open with a cleaver and she just poured on the powder. Feral cat attacks? Pour on the powder. Infection on cat from post-surgery stitches? Pour on the powder. Yes, it's safe for animals. You don't even need a bandaid, the consistency of the powder is sufficient. But do keep your treated wound away from water, or stick a bandaid on top if you know you're going to get wet. For deeper, hospital-necessary wounds, I agree with the other review. Pour on the powder on the way to stem the blood flow until you can get there and the doctor takes over. Yunnan Baiyao's disinfecting properties make it perfect to kill germs and bacteria. The powder form helps to stem blood flow and encourage clotting. I bought this to help my cat with an ear issue. It was not that easy to work with, somewhat messy. Once I learned the combination of powder to water it was easier to deal with. It did seen to work, though.

This gel pales in comparison to the organic gel I ordered from the Shea Terra Brand. I tried it for the price and i got what i paid for. The cape aloe in this gel has been extremely diluted. Shea Terra was 24.00 for a 4oz bottle which i find steep but it is organic and it worked wonders on my facial skin (Acne, dark marks, large pores, discoloration). During 3 weeks of use my skin improved dramatically. I am hooked on cape aloe because of it but can't get beyond the price. After trying this product to my disappointment however, my search for Organic Cape Aloe gel at a reasonable price will continue.

This product seems to be the successor to NP-27, although not as strong! Easier to use than power or creamtwo drops between toes seems to do the trick.

For dressing wounds or surgery sites, this tape is the best. It doesn't rip your skin off, even after using it continuously for a month! Yes, your skin will always get irritated over time with any tape but, with this tape I didn't get raw skin from ripping tape off over and over. The tape sticks very well and also doesn't leave any residue.
I chose to purchase this because of the lidocaine. I've used it on a couple of small cuts, and it does take most of the stinging away while keeping it clean. I use it when my ingrown toenail flares up. This is gross, but after draining pus I soak the area in Mercuroclear and just let it set for a minute or so. It helps greatly in the pain and by the next day, the swelling is down significantly.
Excellent product, Holds grip tight, even when it gets wet during active athletic event. I use it as a complement to the ends of Hypafix cover with Leukotape techniques. It's never let me down yet.
