First off, the product description is not clear. It is a case of wipes, 12 packs of 90 wipes, for a total of 1080 wipes.

These wipes are the exact same ones, from the same manufacturer, used in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at my nearby hospital as baby wipes. Standard baby wipes (pre-moistened) are not advised for use with newborns or preemies younger than one month or so. The issue is the various chemicals used to keep pre-moistened wipes moist.

Instead, the hospital uses these wipes. The staff moistens the wipes with warm water and then uses them on the babies when changing their diapers.

When using them, remember that they arrive folded. You can unfold them if you want a larger, not quite as thick wipe. The hospital uses these wipes, unfolded, as bibs for the babies.

Bottom line, these are essentially very very very good paper towels. They're soft and strong. Highly recommended.

We bought these as they were the same as those in the hospital. They are very sturdy and are great to use as a disposable wipe for those opting not to use commercial wipes for newborns. Just add water to these! The box is big, but you'll go through them! (and if not, you'll likely find tons of uses around the house for these)
