ECONOMY VALUE BUTTERFLY CLOSURE STRIPS LARGE 100/BOX

The size is 100% correct and that is why I gave it 2 stars. However, if you have ever seen what I call a "real" large butterfly bandage it will be this same size except if you look closely you will see a "weave", sort of clothlike and thin but sticky, really sticky. That is what you will find in any good first aid kit, these strips are useless without some serious taping. The tape you need will look "weaved", sort of clothlike and thin but sticky, really sticky. Sometimes it is just called "Athletic Tape". Not paper tape and certainly no tape labelled "OUCHLESS". That is code for "Won't stick". You can remove any tape by soaking in warm water. The tape should not touch the wound directly. Once you have the right tape you can just make your own butterfly bandage that will actually stick (google it). I went to 5 retail pharmacies including a "high end" one. They all had similar crap, some a little better, some a little worse. All require serious tape which negates the whole point of the butterfly bandage.

Also, I don't understand how someone can give this product 5 stars when:

1. They admit in their review they never even opened the bandage and looked at it

2. Have never even seen a different brand product to compare it to.

3. Never used it on an actual wound

So, now i have a box of useless plastic that won't stick to anything. No room for movement and just simple pressure makes them pop off your skin. I waited a week to get something that will do nothing.

Looks sturdy, but falls right off if exposed to moisture.

I will get a roll of advesive tape and make my own instead of buying these again.

The product itself is awesome, every bandage is individually wrapped and looks to be as high quality as name brand stuff. I would suggest also having another container for the bandages though, my box was crushed in the mail, not the sellers fault and it isnt a complaint because I already had a separate container for them ready. Do not be afraid to order this product for your home kits they are great.
