3m Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressing - 4" x 4-3/4"

We use this product over an Omnipod Insulin Pump (the pod part on the body) and it works like magic! It stays on our 3 days and helps keep the insertion site from getting snagged on clothing, it helps it feel more "secure" and helps with keeping things waterproof. We love these & the added sense of security is worth the money. This is the CHEAPEST we have found them & we searched LONG and hard! Great item. We like this better than Smith & Nephew's IV3000 (although that's a close 2nd).

my sister had surgery 2 months ago. she is alergic to adhesives and medical tapes. she can only use tegaderm dressings. unfortunately her wound is not healing and she needs to have her dressing changed 3 times a day. the dressings are $15 for 4 dressings in stores. thankfully i found these on amazon, 50 pcs for under $40.

...between the sometimes slightly more and sometimes immensely more expensive 3M-1626 pictured here and the 3M-1626W dressings? The descriptions appear to be the same, but I have yet to find anyone comparing the two for differences in quality that would justify the range of expense. I've never had the 1626W in hand to see if it is good enough to hold on medicinal patches as well as the 1626. A RAPID response would be greatly appreciated. The only problem I have with the 1626 is the expense. I hadn't noticed the 1626W until today and my supply is running out. I would love to know what the difference is today, if possible, since I would like to purchase an order tonite.
