The only thing that has value in this kit is the shampoo. The nit comb and nit removal gel did not work at all on my four year old daughter's fine hair. The shampoo did seem to kill the nymphs and adult lice. The pesticide sprays are not recommended for lice. You must vacuum every day and wash all bedding, clothes, and towels in hot water. Try the nit terminator comb and the child's hair saturated with conditioner. The conditioner helped loosen the cemented nits(eggs).

My 6 year old came home with Lice (I'd like to send out a thank you to whoever brought this to her school), so I went and purchased RID from the local CVS, We followed the instructions to a T, after an hour of going through everything the only thing we got RID of was our time and all the money we spent. not sure why this product didn't work, but it doesn't. Don't waste your time or money. We also tried the vinegar method, all that did was burn her head and make her cry...this sucks, we are still trying to figure a way to solve this issue.

Shampoo: Left it more than min and it kill some, not all of the lices and almost none of the eggs. I would say it gets about 35% of your lices.

Comb: worse comb for lices Iv ever used!!! and I used to have lices 15 years ago, son not improvement in the technology there. The comb has a "diamond" shape with "patent pending" which only gets your head perfectly tangled around the round center of it. ITs perfect for that!. Also, I brushed with a common brush with and 4 lices fell, I thought "Oh my god how many will I get with the comb?". Well... NONE!!. CERO!!!. I can see my Eggs and then I pass the comb RIGHT there and> THEY ARE STILL THERE.

This was our battle with lice....purchased this at local drug store vice Amazon. After using the part 1 (shampoo) it took a long time to get all the soap out of our daughters hair. A pain we were willing to do if it got rid of all the lice...but then while we were going through and painstakingly getting out all the nits, we found two live lice, and a couple the next day. For what we paid, and how toxic this stuff is, I would have thought it would have killed everything. Back to the drawing board.

I give this product 2 stars. It really didn'teven work. This was my first time dealing with lice and I was hoping it would work so I can move on in life. Well I did it on Sun and have been piking at my kids all week long pulling out more and more nits and newborns. All week I have even been putting Olive oil in the kids hair to pull out nits and they still have some. But not doing the 8 our olive oil treatment which they say works very well. Just putting it in to help slide the nits out. SO all in all I WOULD NOT recommend this product. We are going to go with Lice MD. Non medicated and gets them all out in 1 shot.
