Although I'm sure you should use a pediatric model on children, I was shown in my class that you can collapse the ends of the "football" and reduce the volume of air being pushed by about 3/4, making it a pediatric model if you are not equipped with one. It also comes with a mask with an oxygen hookup, a length of oxygen tubing and a clear plastic oxygen valve of some kind. I'm very excited to hopefully never use this on my patrols.

I am permanently disabled at this time, with several crucial medical issues. I am relieved to know that my family will have the necessary equipment available to utilize should there be any type of medical emergency crossing our threshold!

This Manual Resuscitatorfor Adults, comes in a clear plastic bag and contains everything that you will need in any urgent situation. I recommend that you do a "dry-run" a couple of times a year, so you will be familiar with it's use. There is also a Pediatric size available, to add. The only other addition would be an O2 bottle.
