Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Heat Patch - Back And Body 3-count (Pack of 2)

Tylenol Precise Pain Relieving Heat Patch - Back And Body 3-countI tried these because of the Tylenol brand and because I had a coupon. It was still a complete waste of money! Doesn't even get warm, doesn't stay on, is hard and uncomfortable. I much prefer Thermacare.

I purchased this thinking it would be like an icy hot patch. Its been on for over an hour and its faling off and is just warm, and barely warm at that. I am so mad! I can't believe I wasted $10 on this. Now I have to go buy some icy hot patches. Don't waste your money!

I tried these Tylenol Back & Body Precise Heat patches back in February for the first time after I threw my lower back out the day before a flight and week-long meetings. I used one the day after I flew to my destination; it was a Sunday so I was just taking it easy. Perfect time to try it out, I thought. Wow, I was shocked at how poorly the patch(es) performed. First, I said "patches" loosely because when you open one up, it's actually two rather thick and awkward patches, not one seamless one. The two are connected via a perforated area making it seem like you can cut them and aim them where you want. But, I needed full lower back heat, so I stuck both on, still connected.

Also, these are rather thick and clumpy. The edges are not adhesive, so you get flaps of the cotton paper getting caught in your clothes. Had I any medical tape, I'd have taped it down, particularly because being my lower back, it kept getting caught in my waistbands.

And, the heat is minimal. The packaging says "may take up to 30 minutes" to heat up, but it's impossible to tell.

I gave another a shot today for a sore/stiff neck. I cut one down the perforated space, and put it between my shoulders. It's very awkward and the edges stick out and get caught in my neckline. The heat is hardly there at all. And, I realize today my last issue: these are NOT flexible like the ThermaCare patches. This Tylenol patch keeps pulling off my skin with the slightest of movement.

Rather disappointed in this being from Tylenol.

This so called heat patch/pad doesn't even get warm after 3 hours of use. Waste of money! I'll continue using thermacare from now on!

The product does work and does stay on. I love the patch. It isn't suppose to be a burn you hot. It is a deep penetrating heat that I found to last 10-12+ hours. I have horrible back pain and the heat feels good and seems to help. Who wants to walk around with smelly greasiness on them? I sure don't and these patches have no smell. Just a nice warm sensation. They do not get hot like icy hot or even bengay. That's not how they work to my knowledge. They just send a nice warmth to your muscles. You don't feel the heat but if you put your hand on the patch, you do feel the heat. Great product and will continue to buy.
