Use them to handle 'soiled waste' work good for medical dressing too, alcohol, betadine, or solvents are no problem for them either. These gloves are very thin and tear with the greatest of ease. I was expecting a much more rugged glove to dump sewage from my camper. These are almost useless for that purpose. I can't imagine what one would use them for and expect to keep sanitary.
