Poor quality instruments They are not able to be sterilized. These instruments are not made from surgical steel. The metal is porous and there for can not be sterilized.

Looks like it was made by children, sewing is all over the place, instruments look and feel second-hand..

Would definitely get a better kit if serious about prepping and looking for durability.

I'm not a surgeon, but my life is full of tiny electronics and engines I pretend I can fix. The clamps, scissors and such are wonderful for the job and the whole kit costs as much as one doodlefarb like a heat sink or locking tweezers from an electronics outfit, so it is a steal. And it comes in a case, so I can misplace everything at once!

This is not the highest quality I'd hesitate to embark on brain surgery with this kit because an essential tool might break. But for the lab rat or vet, it's the cats meow. I got two kits, one for the first aid kit and one for the tool box. I added some syringe needles for digging out slivers and teasing needles for dissection, magnifier & flashlight and I'm good to go.

The instruments are as described and good quality. But, the case is not like the one pictured. The case is actually smaller and the instruments cannot fit without being stacked on top of each other. The zipper is longer than the case, which results in about two inches of overlap and makes it very difficult to zip back up.

I Received the kit fairly quickly on the west coast and I am very pleased. The instruments are stainless steel and are of very good quality. The instrument case is black as shown and is well constructed and padded. The case is a little long so it is not compact but that is the least thing. It is flat and stores very nicely I highly recommend this kit for the price.
