WoundSeal Rapid Response Powder 1 Per Bottle Part No. WSO601 by- Biolife

WoundSeal Rapid Response Powder 1 Per Bottle Part No. WSO601 by- BiolifeI work in a restaurant. We are always getting small cuts.

You pour this powder on and instantly the cut stops bleeding

with no sting. We use to use super glue but you have to wait

for it to dry. The only up side of super glue is it usually

will not leave a scab. Still I prefer wound powder. Anyone who

laughs at super glue should note that it is the same ingredient

as liquid bandage.

Polyactil/Petroactil Bundle - Get both the extreme healing of Polyactil and the gentle healing of P

Polyactil/Petroactil Bundle - Get both the extreme healing of Polyactil and the gentle healing of Petroactil, combined for optimum HEALING POWERI ordered this product after reading a few of the reviews to take care of a patch of really bad skin irritation I have had for 2 years. I had tried everything including prescription medication from my dermatologist. For the first time in 2 years I can see improvement in the skin irritation and have found it is also great as a face cream. I had huge pores and black heads and adding this to my nightly facial cleansing ritual has improved my complexion immensely.

I have used these products and would recommend them to everyone.

Thank you. I will order these products again. It works

I initially purchased this product as I was experiencing cyst/boil like blisters on my legs. As soon as I feel a blister forming, I immediately apply Polyactil/Petroactil to the area. If I catch it early enough, the blister will not form at all but if it does form, it is very minor and goes away within 3-5 days. I also use this product after waxingit is great for bumps and I have recommended it to my aesthetician.

At the end of the day, this is my "go to" product for any sort of skin ailmentpimples, bumps, dry patches, cuts and scrapes. It is the only thing I need/use!

If you are reading this review and you have no clue what Pyoderma Gangrenosum (PG) is, please finish reading this review and then run an internet search on the disease. I am still recovering from a bilateral outbreak of PG and the combination of Polyactil with Petroactil helped with the pain & healing process. Polyactil/Petroactil used in conjunction with Manuka Honey 550+ made a big difference in the speed of healing the lesions based on the surprise expressed by my wound care MD yesterday. The doctor and the attending nurse both commented that I was making remarkable progress compared to other PG cases they had seen.

My PG lesions are in a variety of stages some are still wounds, some have scabbed over, some have sloughed off the scab and newly formed pink skin has made an appearance. The Polyactil/Petroactil combo is keeping everything comfortable and moisturized on the skin's surface, has promoted healing (verified by a Medical Doctor who specializes in wound care!) and it appears it will even reduce the appearance of the scars with continued use. I have just ordered another bundle, having ordered the first one in February. Amazing products from a remarkable company, Med-Actil.

Now, go run your internet search on Pyoderma Gangrenosum (PG) and you will know right away that if these products have done anything positive to help with PG that you must try them for whatever skin condition or wounds you need to treat! They will improve and speed up the healing process and they don't require a prescription!

My mom who has passed was bed ridden and developed a bad bed sore. Hospice didn't give us anything special to help. The best stuff we could find in the store was medicated diaper cream and it wasn't helping. I went online and after many comparisons I picked this stuff out. We saw improvements within the first few days. Even when she was starting the dying process the polyactil/petroactil really helped the bedsores. They did not progress any further and even started to heal. If someone you love has bedsores get this stuff. It really works!

Cool Bandage

Cool BandageI really liked this product. It really helped with my swollen ankles and knees. I've had four knee surgeries on one knee, so I sometimes get bad swelling, especially when traveling.

The downsides were the smell and how wet the bandage is. My family complained about the menthol smell. The bandage was saturated. It went through my clothes and soaked the cloth seats I was sitting on. I wrapped a regular ace bandage around it, which helped.

Summer Infant Baby's Health And Grooming Kit

Summer Infant Baby's Health And Grooming KitThis grooming kit is easy to travel with, and convenient since everything is kept is kept in the clear hard plastic case. The nail clippers, emery boards, and hair brush work really well. The nasal aspirator is decent, but the one we received free from the hospital works better. The thermometer is really cheap and never worked, but that didn't bother me much since we already had a different ear thermometerBraun IRT 4020 ThermoScan Ear Thermometer. We haven't used the medicine spoon, dropper, or swabs but I'm glad we have them on hand and accessible. This kit is less expensive than other kits, and overall I've been happy with it.

This is just another "kit" with very useless things in it. Honestly I only wanted the nail clippers and the brush/comb. I should have gone with a cuter set for a girl. I used the medication syringe for a med for my 4yo and it didn't even hold the medicine, it leaked out all over the place (no suction like a syringe should have). As a pediatric nurse I'd prefer a higher quality medication administration kit. Also the bulb syringe in this kit is small and won't be very useful. Use the one from the hospital if you deliver in one (we're having a homebirth and I ordered a hospital grade bulb syringe instead). This kit was a waste of money, in my opinion.

Buy Summer Infant Baby's Health And Grooming Kit Now

The nasal bulb is very hard to use. Only pieces I use most often is the nail cutter & comb, sometimes. Don't see much use of other pieces much, even if the kid is small.

Nasal aspirator (which is amazing), nail clippers and brush... that's the only items that worked. At the middle of the night, my 3m-old baby had a fever.. thermometer never worked, I had to use the family's one. After confirming fever and a quick call to the nurse, had to give him some medicine... but using the syringe was a NIGHTMARE and a big mess with medicine leaking all over the baby and all over my hands!! WE ended up using a spoon (not the one in the kit, which shows ml by halves like 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 3 1/2 and so on.. and didn't want to guess where the 2ml mark was) I had to buy health care items separately. It was a little more expensive than the kit, but now I'm sure everything in the health care box works!

I was gifted this from my registry and since baby was born I've used the following:

~comb: when oiling scalp and working out cradle cap

~brush: every night...it's great

~nose sucker: for the obvious

~nail clippers: also obvious, though I did ONCE nip a pinky tip the size of a pin prick, otherwise they work well

~nail files: when I decided it was too soon to use clippers

I doubt I'll ever use:

~thermometer: I bought a digital ear one

~syringe: it's not very ergonomic

Will one day use:

~medicine dispenser: once he's bigger...BUT I may buy one of those alligator ones that I remember from my childhood.

All in all, it's a decent value. You're not likely to put together the usable components for much less than the sum of $15 so if you want it all and a carrying case, I'd recommend this.

Medical Alert Emergency ID Bracelet - 'Anti Coagulant' By Apex Healthcare Productsthis item is poorly made barely a month since I've had it and the links already separated and I lost the bracelet. Just by luck found it again. Both clasp and symbol are rough, even sharp to the touch.

if you need this type of medical alert bracelet, this one is just fine. It arrived quickly and was inexpensive.

I was looking for a medical ID bracelet that didn't cost alot but that would last and this one was both. It is just a simple bracelet, but being stainless steel, it doesn't change colors or leave colors on your skin, you can also have more engraved on it if you need to. I wear it everyday and have had no problems.

Black Earth Taliah Waajid Curl Cream 6 oz

Black Earth Taliah Waajid Curl Cream 6 ozFinally, I've found a cheaper alternative to Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding (the purple stuff). I used this product to twist my wet hair after shampooing. After drying overnight, I removed the twists. The result was soft, bouncy, elongated curls without a greasy feel. I liked that my curls had bounce which is not the case when I use Miss Jessie's. My hair was super soft and did not have the greasy feel that I get from Miss Jessie's. The one drawback is that although it was very soft, my hair appeared a little dull on the second day. I'll need to work on finding a good moisturizer that is compatible with this product.

I also used and loved the Great Detangler in the same product line.

It has a nice fragrance, and a little goes quite a ways. I use after wetting my hair as the final step in my hair regimen.

It lasted almost 2 months between my daughter and I. This product worked great on my natural hair. I paid $8.00, and it's worth the money. A must for my curly/wavy hair, it doesn't weigh the hair down. It sets the curls in place, as well as moisturizes. I use it daily as part of my hair regimen. The product is white, so don't use a lot..massage into the hair well. I use it to lock my daughter's curls in place as well. A Keeper for me!

Will purchase again in a day.

I've experimented with several curl creams since going natural and I must say I absolutely love this curl cream, but more than that I love the price. This cream by far gives the best curl definition in comparison to the other creams on the market. This cream is a definite must-buy!

I received a sample of this at the natural hair show. tried it out the night before my birthday. i was taking a chance (because no one wants to look like a hot mess on their birthday) and used it in a bantu knot/twist. oh my word. the results were amazing. my curls came out so juicy and sexy and voluminous (i'm a volume fiend!) it was amazing. i was getting complements all day. the only thing i had a problem with was the hold. there was barely any in my case. maybe i used too much coconut oil underneath the product. it barely lasted to day 3 before i had to co-wash. either way i would definitely buy the full size. the only thing left to do is decide whether or not to by it here or scour the shelves for it.

also one discrepancy about the size. i would appreciate it if the full size was at least 8oz.

Want Black Earth Taliah Waajid Curl Cream 6 oz Discount?

Picked this product up at my local Wal-Mart. The price was right, $8.00 and change.

I was a little worried because the product consistency is sticky and thick.

On freshly washed, conditioned and damp hair I two strand twisted over night.

The next day, my twist out was soft, well defined, bouncy but a little dull.

No need to slather on, a small amount goes a long way. In fact, sectioning the hair, THEN twisting is better way to go.

I recommend & would buy this product again.

First Aid Only 3/8" X 1-1/2" Junior Plastic Bandage, 100-Count Boxes (Pack of 6)

First Aid Only 3/8' X 1-1/2' Junior Plastic Bandage, 100-Count BoxesBand-Aid and Curad used to pack strips of these little "shaving cut" bandages in every box of their assorted bandages. Now the traditional "Junior" bandages have become something of an endangered species. They've been replaced by larger "Juniors"--mini-strips that are convenient for a lot of things, but are too large to put on your face. Small "spot" bandages don't work on your face, either, because they don't want to stick to mobile, irregular surfaces.

These Junior bandages are the same size as the traditional Juniors, and they're better, because they have improved adhesive that really sticks, and nonstick gauze pads that don't cling to healing cuts. They also come in a box with a nice dispenser tray. These are high quality bandages, and I'll be happy to purchase "First Aid Only" brand bandages of any kind in the future.

For my household, 600 Junior bandages is sort of a lifetime supply, but the per-bandage cost is so low (with shipping included) that it made sense to buy six boxes instead of a single 100-bandage box (for example, First Aid Only brand, Jr. Plastic Bandages (3/8"x1-1/2") 100/Box; or brands that I haven't personally tried, Economy Value Sheer Plastic Junior Bandage 100/box or Bandage Junior Size Plastic 3/8 X 1 1/2 100/box. At least now I have a generous supply, and don't have to worry for now about the size being completely discontinued.

First Aid Only Outdoor First Aid Kit, Soft Case, 205-Piece Kit

First Aid Only Outdoor First Aid Kit, Soft Case, 205-Piece KitThis kit is wonderful. It has so many useful items in it, which I believe, on what you must have at least, in every First Aid kit! I have noticed most injuries do happen outside. Maybe it's a cut, scrape, sting from an insect, etc. The kit also has contents that also apply to in-door "accidents" as well.

However because their are so many items in the kit, it's hard to find the things you need for an emergency that needs to be dealt with as soon as possible. When you open the kit you will see clear pouches containing your medical contents. I suggest you organize everything neatly so it makes things easier to find. In fact, the thin cardboard shell that the kit comes covered with has a good example on how this kit should be organized with this kind of bag.

Here is all the items in the kit(I am surprised none of you actually decide to let others know of all the contents...);

Medicine Antiseptics;

4 Aspirin tablets

4 Ibuprofen tablets

4 Extra-strength non-aspirin tablets

12 BZK antiseptic towelettes

12 Alcohol cleaning pads

3 Castile soap towelettes

3 Insect sting relief pads

3 Antibiotic ointment packs

1 Sunscreen pack

2 Lip ointment packs

3 First aid/burn cream packs

1 Burn relief gel pack

Bandages;

50 Adhesive plastic bandages, 3/4" x 3"

25 Fabric bandages, 3/4" x 3"

10 Fabric bandages, 1" x 3"

10 Junior adhesive plastic bandages, 3/8" x 1-1/2"

4 Knuckle fabric bandages

4 Fingertip fabric bandages

2 Elbow & knee plastic bandages, 2" x 4"

3 Butterfly wound closures

Injury Treatment;

1 Instant cold compress

4 Moleskin squares, 2" x 2"

2 First aid tape rolls, 1/2" x 5yd.

1 Finger splint, 6" x 3/4"

10 Gauze dressing pads, 2" x 2"

4 Gauze dressing pads, 3" x 3"

2 Gauze dressing pads, 4" x 4"

1 Trauma pad, 5" x 9"

1 Conforming gauze roll bandage, 2"

1 Sterile eye pad

References, Instruments;

1 Durable, clear-pocket neon softpack with reflector stripe

1 First Aid Guide

1 Scissors

1 Tweezers, metal

2 Safety pins

10 Cotton-tipped applicators, 3"

2 Exam quality vinyl gloves

This is exactly the kit I was looking for to keep in my ATV. It contains a generous supply of the basics for injuries and minor wounds that might occur in remote areas. Although it contains two small rolls of medical tape, I've found that a large roll of tape sufficient to wrap sprained ankles, wrists or to bandage a puncture wound always comes in handy. Add that item. This kit is light-weight and fits perfectly into an ATV saddle bag. The flexible nylon container allows for extra items that might be desired and the bright-orange color keeps it easily visible in the woods if you are working an emergency away from the vehicle, so you will not lose it in the leaves.

Buy First Aid Only Outdoor First Aid Kit, Soft Case, 205-Piece Kit Now

I've come to realize that there is no such thing as the "perfect" first-aid kit, with absolutely everything one needs in it. However, this is a very good kit as a "starting point". Other reviewers have documented what is included in the kit, so I won't rehash that. What's included is of good qualitybe sure to check the expiration dates, when applicable, and replace as needed. I check monthly to make sure all is up-to-date & not used up.

I added the following items on my own (I hope this helps anyone trying to prepare their "ultimate" first-aid kit)1 small bottle of eyewash; 1 tube of Cortaid (for itching from sources besides bug bites); 1 packet of Dayquil liqui-gels (for daytime cold relief/prevention & sinus/allergy attacks) ; 1 digital thermometer; 1 tube of Neosporin; 1 packet of Nyquil liqui-gels (for nighttime cold relief/prevention); 1 tube of Oragel; 1 packet of 6 Pepto-Bismol (gas/bloating/stomach pain/nausea); 4 packets of Loperamide (diarrhea); Nexcare waterproof bandages of various sizeswhile a lot of band-aids are in this kit, I need waterproof ones, too, and that's not included here.

Considering the cost of this kit alone, this is not a lot that I had to add. It is very important to have a kit at work, at home & in one's vehicle. I recommend buying this, with the advisement that you need to add a few extras to be prepared for emergencies that almost inevitably come up.

I love love love this kit. I have one in my house and one in my car. I usually have my god-children on the weekends and we do a lot of physical activities outside (ride bikes, different sports, go to the playground, etc.). I have had to use this a lot on scraped knees and bug bites and it works great. I love all the band aids and ointments that came in it. The whole pack is so compact that I throw it in the bottom of the stroller and off we go. SN: I found this same product in a different color case at target for half the price.

Everything is neat and organized which is a plus when you have little ones and need something quickly. This is also very easy to throw in the car or a backpack to take with you would even fit in most diaper bags.

Lifeline 29-Piece Ultralight Survival Kit

Lifeline 29-Piece Ultralight Survival KitThis is a small, very light and very portable survival kit. It is definitely a good value for the price, but it's mainly just a good start on well-stocked survival kit. All of the items come out of the container very easily and it is easy to replace them all.

I'll get right down to reviewing each item in this kit:

Waterproof Carry Case This is the plastic bag that the entire kit comes in. It is composed of thick clear plastic and it should be fairly durable in most situations. It will most likely keep your kit dry during the heaviest of rains but I'm not sure if it would stand up well if completely submerged in water.

Waterproof Matches These matches come in a small box with a striker pad on each side. The matches are fairly easy to light, even with the waterproof coating. The problem is that the matches aren't completely coated. Only the phosphorous tips are waterproof, so if your matches are soaked and you can get one to light, it's going to go out as soon as the phosphorous burns away. I would say that these matches should just be called water-resistant instead of waterproof, but I will just replace them with better ones.

Aluminum Foil A fairly large piece of foil which comes tightly folded in the kit. What else can I say? It's just aluminum foil and it can be very useful in some situations.

Emergency Blanket This is a silver Mylar blanket that is about 4'x 6'. If you don't know about Mylar, it is a great insulator. They use it for spacecraft and Astronaut suits to help protect them from radiation and freezing cold. This is useful to have for emergency situations where staying warm is a priority.

50' Fishing Line, 4 Hooks and 4 Sinkers All of these come packaged together in a small bag. The back of the box says that there is 50 feet of fishing line, but I'm not going to unravel it to make sure. The sinkers are very basic, and they don't have lips on the backs of them so they will be difficult to remove from a line once they are attached. The hooks seem good but they are small, so you will be lucky to catch a big fish with them.

8' Snare Wire This is just basic steel wire which can be useful in very many situations. It can also be used to catch small game if you need to. As with the fishing line the box says 8 feet, but it would be a pain to unravel it just to find out exactly how much there is.

Map Compass A simple compass for use with maps. It seems to work, but I've had several compasses that were better than this one.

Emergency Whistle A plastic whistle that comes with a nylon braided cord so you can wear it around your neck. I haven't really tested it yet, but it's a just a plastic whistle so I bet it works fine.

10' Emergency Cord Braided white nylon cord that can be useful in many situations, any type of cord like this is a must in any survival kit.

36" Duct Tape First off, this isn't Duck brand Duct Tape. This is off-brand tape and is certainly somewhat lacking in quality, but it is still Duct Tape and it is still extremely useful for very many reasons. Duct Tape is great to have in any survival kit.

Survival Guide Not much of a guide, really. It is a single piece of paper with printed instructions on both sides, but it does offer some sound advice for survival situations. It would be good to have if you have nothing else.

Reusable Zipper-Lock Bag This is just a plastic bag. A fairly large one, sure, but still just a standard plastic bag.

Surgical Blade A single stainless steel blade which comes sterilized in an aluminum foul package. Recommended for one-time use only, but you should clean it and keep it with you if you have used it already.

Wound Closure Strips Sterilized strips for closing certain wounds. Latex free and useful for deep cuts.

Safety Pins Three Safety Pins. Useful and good to have when you need them, but most people have some anyway.

Also, there is a small piece of paper in the kit with safety information on it. Not useful for anything except possibly starting fires so at least you'll have something to burn in a pinch.

I purchased this kit for a recent backpacking trip. Luckily I didn't need to use it but am glad that I had it. Everything is in that is needed if something should happen.

Arrived in original packaging, still tight vacuum-sealed and as far as I know ready to use. Have one in my vest (in a Condor Rip-Away EMT Pouch), two in a reserve medical kit. Better to purchase and never use, than need and never have.

It is great to cover the nails for wearing sandals with something that is good for them. On the worst nails, it does not look smooth but looks fine on the others. I use the base and the pink color.
