Mueller Hg80 Knee Stabilizer

I've been quite a good customer for amazon for a while now, and I've purchase a lot of stuff and so far, I've been quite satisfied with the items I have received. BUT this seller is unbelievable, I order these knee stabilizers (I order two) and what I received was two COMPLETE DIFFERENT KNEE STABILIZERS. When I got them I was at the US at the moment, but I'm currently living in Costa Rica, so when I contact them, they asked me to return the items via UPS otherwise they were not going to do anything. Guess what? the items cost me $50, and UPS was charging me $30 to send the items back, and the seller clearly pointed out that I was not going to get a refund on that. Then I contact Amazon's customer service and it was pathetic, apparently they rather lose a customer than protect a CRIMINAL seller that runs under FALSE ADVERTISING, because they DID agree that they have posted the wrong picture of the item, and STILL won't return my money. Go and purchase somewhere else, you've been warned!

I had previously purchased medium Mueller Hg80 hinged and flexible steel braid knee braces that had top and bottom adjustment straps and found them to work well except for their tendency to slide down my leg. My knee size is at the borderline between small and medium for these products. I therefore ordered two of these cheaper Hg80 flexible steel braided knee braces in the small size. I did not know that they did not have any adjustment straps. These knee braces slide down my leg as soon as I start walking and I am constantly pulling them back up by grabbing the top of the knee brace and my pant leg. The knee braces have some ribbed material on the top and bottom of the brace to try and keep them from sliding but they are inadequate. The inside of one of the braces started to come apart after my first use.

Long sleeve with medial and lateral adequate support. (Not steel brace) slimming shape to knee. Nice gel absorption protection padded ring around patella incase of a fall or contact. It is not overly stretchy so correct sizing matters. It is the best solid sleeve support I have used. I now have both knees with TKR's.. I have used all types of braces in pre and post surgery from $700 custom braces to the this and including the other mueller hinged Hg80. I like this the best. I am an aggressive tennis playing senior who wears this stabilizer version of the Hg80 on both knees to play tennis. They are strong manouvorable well supporting. They stay up and give you confidence.

I was at the top edge of the measurement for the XL size, and ordered it anyway. Could not get it on, because the diameter of the lower opening was too small. If I had managed to get it on, I suspected that I would have circulation problems. When I attempted to return it, I discovered that it was non-returnable; Amazon graciously refunded the price without a return, since it was obviously of no use to me. Sorry it did not work, happy that the purchase was through Amazon, and the credit was handled promptly with absolutely no hassle.
