QuikClot Sport Silver Advanced Clotting Sponge 25G

I bought this item for a bug out bag. I think everyone should be modestly prepared for the worst should it happen. I worked in the medical field for over 30 years and know what I would like in a first aid kit. My wife is also a retiring RN and knows about such things as well. I try to choose high quality items, and for the most part this does not come in a standard first aid kit. Got it from Amazon quickly and accurately. I hope I never have to use it.

I have not used this product (thank God), but from the research I have done, it's apparently one of the best in the market. Do your own independent research from military, to independent research sites, this is the best in the market you'll find! Get the Silver version, since it's antibacterial. This is in my Trauma Kit; and hopefully I never have to use it. Has a couple of year shelf life. I have also purchased the small version for outdoor cycling activity, etc.
