The next day for the marathon, I again applied this and it stayed on the bottom of my foot for 13 1/2 miles....no bandaid would last that long. And it doesn't hurt when you remove it, either! These really work! While I haven't used these on my feet, I always bring them when we go hiking. My youngest daughter had some new boots on our last hiking trip, and she started to form some blisters. We put 2nd Skin on her and didn't hear any more complaints for the rest of the trip. In fact, she actually said it felt good. My only complaint about this particular kit is that it doesn't come with enough of the adhesive strips, but I have a feeling duck tape might work in their place.

I've used this product for years and swear by it. I have had open blisters on my heels while cross-country skiing and after putting this on at a lunch break was able to ski the rest of the day, pain-free. It doesn't rub off, even in the shower. When I coached soccer, I used this to treat my player's blisters and they could go right back into the game without even feeling the blister and it seems to help the blisters heal faster too (but it could just seem that way)Carry these with me and use at slightest sign of hot spots. Do not need to get blisters when you walking 60 miles in three days.I am training for a marathon and I continually get blisters on the ends of my toes. I use the second skin and their adhesive tape to cover the ends of my toes and toenails. It has prevented further damage except when the gel dressing moved from the nail and nail bed on one toe and allowed more irritation to my already sore toe. I am still looking for a method of preventing the blisters, but until then, Spenco second skin works decently.
