Where I live, the wind chill is often below 0 and temperatures are usually in the teens during winter. I live and work in an environment with electricity-based heating, which means extremely dry air if you didn't already know. I bathe more frequently than the average person due to being an athlete (excessive bathing is also bad for the skin). And to top it off, my skin is already extremely sensitive to any kind of irritation to begin with.
My dermatologist confirmed that this product may be used on both the face and body. I have been using it this way for about 6 months now and I have seem dramatic improvements in the condition of my skin. It should also be noted that my skin is extremely prone to break out and the use of this product has resulted in startling improvements in the quality and clarity of my skin considering I am not using any other treatment. I would buy this stuff by the gallon if I could. This winter, my arms and legs have been very itchy and rashy due to dry skin and eczema. I tried the sample of CeraVe lotion and cleanser provided by my dermatologist and was happy with the non greasy texture and how nicely the lotion is absorbed in to the skin. I purchased the regular sized CeraVe skin cleanser and moisturizing lotion and have experienced relief from my itchy rashy skin condition after just a couple of days. The lotion is light weight and unscented. I noticed that one of the ingredients is hyaluronic acid which is used in an excellent facial moisturizer that I have had good luck with keeping my face well hydrated in the winter. I find the CeraVe products well priced given the quality ingredients and results. I'm very pleased with the two CeraVe products that I've tried. For people with ultra dry skin or that like a heavier product, the CeraVe cream may be a better option.

I've struggled with my 4 year old's eczema for most of his life. My pediatrian finally recommended this lotion. After only a few aplications his skin is clear, softer and smoother then it has been ever. It absorbs quickly and leaves no stickness and has next to no fragrance so he doesn't mind being slathered up. I only use it after his bath a couple of times a week and his skin has stayed clear and smooth. Occasionally I've used it on my 7 month old and it works great for him too eventhough he doesn't have skin problems...yet. I've tried it on myself for my skin conditions especially my hands and it hasn't worked quite as well. I think with the frequent washing of my hands I need something more emoilent. I am thinking of trying the CeraVe cream for myself it may work better for more frequently washed super dry skin.Read Best Reviews of Cerave Cerave Moisturizing Lotion Here
I have very sensitive skin and shaving is an issue for me with most products.I use a small amount of CeraVe massaged into my face, then splash with water to "loosen" it a bit, then shave.
Clean, no fragrance, no irritation, no greasy feel.
Love it!

I started using the Cera Ve lotion about a week ago. It claims to have beneficial ceramides in it.According to Wikipedia "One of the most studied roles of ceramide pertains to its function as a proapoptotic molecule. Apoptosis, a form of programmed cell death, is essential for the maintenance of normal cellular homeostasis and is an important physiological response to many forms of cellular stress."This idea seems to apply to my skin, as old cells seem to be dying off with new healthy ones replacing them.
Whether or not the excerpt is true, my skin is far less bumpy, softer, and brighter.
It looks like I'm wearing powder, that nice soft finish without that pore suffocating look of cream or liquid makeup.
I love it. It's inexpensive and it sure is doing its job. I've tried A LOT of drug store products and this one is actually doing something for me.
Awesome
